Infatuation doesn't have a high enough chance of activation, IMO. 50% is where it's at. Barrage and Comet Puunch have the potential to be really cheap, or really shitty, it's almost too variable. I don't know how you could fix that, though. Belly Drum halves half of total HP, doesn't it? How would Bind work? After the foe is bound (binded?) can the user move? Can the foe? I suggest neither. Block sounds almost completely useless. How about it prevents the foe from leaving the surrounding 25 squares? i.e. the 5x5 grid centred around the foe. You missed Constrict, on purpose? Covet could allow non-theif pokemon to steal. My turn: Defense Curl - Raises user's defence by 3 until next movement. PP-35 WL-D Disable - Disables a random one of the foe's moves. Hit-60 Rng1-2 PP-20 WL-D Dizzy Punch - 30% chance of confusing foe. MT-7 Hit-70 PP-10 WL-C Double Hit - Strikes twice. MT-3 Hit-65 Double Team - Double-Edge - Doubleslap - Egg Bomb - Encore - Endeavor - Endure - Explosion - Extremespeed - Facade - Fake Out - False Swipe - Feint - Flail - Flash - Focus Energy - Follow Me - Foresight - Frustration - Fury Attack - Fury Swipes - Giga Impact - Glare - Growl - Growth - Guillotine - Harden - Headbutt - Heal Bell - Helping Hand - Hidden Power - Horn Attack - Horn Drill - Howl - Hyper Beam - Hyper Fang - (I'm to lazy too add effects... for now.) EDIT: Also, are these attacks equippable items, like Iron swords? Or are they learned, like in Pokemon? EDIT 2: Added F-H, some effects. Edited by CalmMind, Aug 23 2008, 03:14 AM.

I always thought Belly Drum did current HP, but I never used it that much, so you'd have to ask someone else. I hadn't thought about mobility, since both Pokemon were still able to move through Bind in the games. Missing constrict was unintentional. =\ And honestly, I have no idea how they're going to work. I'd say have an "inventory" of 4-5 actively used moves that can be used in standard arena-style battles, and let people use anything they can in map battles. (This idea seemed much better when I was half asleep and not thinking in terms of details) |

I just checked Serebii. It's total HP. I say the Pokemon can have an Attack "inventory" of four moves, and an item inventory of four as well. TM's can be purchased at "armories" and taught to Pokemon. If the move is taken off, then it is lost, like skills in PoR. When Pokemon reach certain levels, they are given a TM, which can be discarded or used on to replace an old move. How's that? |
