doesn't fail at Pokemon.
coming from someone who hasn't won a battle against anyone here (to my knowledge).
I won against Xepher at first battle in Platinum, so be quiet. :mischief:
Please enter the shoddy tournament. Also, I move that the Shoddy tournament should be swiss so he can run the gauntlet. XD
Uh... Why should I enter? I'm a Wi-Fi man, not an emulator person that I have to use the mouse/keyboard to play a silly replacement of the original.
Because you're saying you beat Javi in-game like its something. Shoddy is far superior to Wi-Fi, because its not a stats lottery. You should join to see how you rate against me, Javi, and Brian.
Stats are my game, not some pre-programed stuff that will make you guarantee to win (mostly).
how exactly are you guaranteed to win in PvP where stats are equal? Do you even know what shoddy is?

You should join it either way. Test out your smarts and skills about the Pokemon metagame. And it's not like using Shoddy automatically lets one have an advantage. You're both fixing your teams however you want, so it's pretty even.

No, not really. All I know its on the computer. :P But me no Shoddy. Like I said I like Wi-Fi and I like my DS and animations when battling.

K, then don't bother claiming you've beaten anyone. xD

Claiming you've beaten me when I barely had two badges in the game is nothing to be proud of. Battle me on Shoddy and we'll see how that goes, Redster.

Fine, I guess I'll make a Shoddy Account or whatever. Just tell me what to do.

Also, we're doing this on Swade's thread. He'll be confused when he sees all these replies lol

I don't like Shoddy, but one thing I can contest to is that it does put everything on an even playing field. Everyone gets to have max IV's and you can distribute effort points however you wish, and make movesets how you wish.

I mean, battling is mostly reliant on yourself and what YOU choose to do with your pokemon, what moves you give it, the natures, effort, etc. The stats themselves aren't the only important thing, but it's technically the most fair when everyone's pokemon has the same potential stats, IV's obviously being the most random factor that's difficult to control in the game and over Wi-Fi. Shoddy eliminates that problem, at the expense of a fun battling experience, which is why I don't use it. I just don't find it satisfying or fun enough to want to use it, which is really frustrating for me because I would love to be able to participate in your tournaments with you guys.
