Why do people tend to hate the new gens?

They've been following the same plotline for pretty much each generation, and for us hardc0re pogeymunz players, it's getting really predictable. There's always an evil team, who aren't really evil, they don't beat anyone up or anything. They're always REALLY easy to beat. And they always seem to have no aim. I mean, Team Galactic's plot was terrible tbh. All it ever was was one line saying "We want to make a new dimension yayaya" It never had any deph or realisation to it. The thing is, the games are repetative, and lacking a quality plotline. They need something completely different next gen, but which still includes the gyms and the Elite4. I can't think of what it is. Nintendo get paid to think of it, they need to think a little harder IMO.
