The Storm Posts: 367 Group: Members Member #16 Joined: Jan 19, 2008	I figured I'd create a topic to discuss one of the few good bands from Canada. Billy Talent is basically a punk/emo/alternative rock band (whichever one you prefer to call them). Their first album was pretty good, but "Billy Talent II" was when they hit it off big. Chances are some of you have heard the songs "Devil In A Midnight Mass", "Red Flag", and "Fallen Leaves". Their third album just came out a couple weeks ago in Canada and the UK, but Americans will have to wait until September. I'd say it's their most focused yet. Anyways, Billy Talent isn't my favourite band, but it's nice to see some good music coming out of here. Any other people enjoy them?

Jesus Himself Posts: 3,660 Group: PokeMods Member #8 Joined: Jan 17, 2008	I've been listening to Billy Talent for a couple years now, they have some decent songs when they aren't being too whiny. Red Flag is a great song, as is Fallen Leaves. Devil in a Midnight Mass was my initial favorite from them, but I think Red Flag has overtaken that. Line and Sinker is pretty good too, although a bit screechy. But just to be clear, Roberto Luongo still can't play. : P

Red Flag, Devil In A Midnight Mass, Fallen Leaves, Rusted From The Rain, Devil On My Shoulder, River Below, Nothing To Lose, and Try Honesty are also favourites of mine. And just to be clear, screw you :p

Teh Pepsi Posts: 296 Group: Members Member #44 Joined: Jan 20, 2008	Yeah, I've listened to II, it was pretty cool. Not sure if I'll get III, though. Only other band I like, and know that are from Canada, are Of Montreal.
