I think the lyrics are quite clever, actually. Either way, I don't care about lyrics, as long as the music is good... Anyways, to all the people that hate Nickelback, try giving their early stuff a listen. "Curb" and "The State" are from before they hit it off and are definitely their heaviest releases. Don't just judge them from the commercial material (which isn't horrible either).

A fair number of their songs are actually good, and unlike Miley Cyrus and other mainstream acts, they have talent.
