Basically, what pokemon do you think the creators failed to make appealing to the gamers and how could they have done better? Please do NOT just post in there saying "[insert pokemon name] sucks" or something like that. Be a little more thoughtful. That doesn't mean you can't insult the pokemon if you really don't like it, just don't make a 3 word post saying the pokemon sucks or is fucked up. >_> -BBM

(It shouldn't be classed as an evolution. Tangrowth is a fitting name though because it's basically an ugly Tangela that's grown bigger.) Azel, Mespirit and the other one. (Mew, mew, and mew. Get some creativity.) Turtwig. (WTF Bulbasaur?) Bronzong. (It's a blue bell. Further detail is needed.)

Tangrowth was a lack of creativity, I can agree. Bronzong is one of the dumbest looking things, they could have done better with it. Probopass has got to be one of, if not THE most stupid pokemon they've ever made. I think of Mr. Potato Head turned Nazi Rock Pokemon with really big noses. Lickilicky is a bit dull to me, too, not to mention the fact that it's name is the epitome of the creators' lack of creativity. What was the point of Plusle and Minun? I know this is taking a step back to the 3rd Generation, but this topic is for ANY pokemon, not just the 4th Gen. They're basically like Pichu/Pikachu, only more worthless because they don't evolve. Totally unnecessary. There's more, I just need time to collect my thoughts on the rest. -BBM

Probably because it seems the creators said,"Lets see what we can come up with if we were to combine Electricity with Ghost. Oh, look it's a Spinning Top! I think it would have been more interesting if they had made Rotom have other forms that were more creative and more 'pokemon' like. A pokemon taking over household appliances? ....No thanks. -BBM

I didn't like how they put in two pokemon that do the random jump thingy. Lovedisc was a VERY stupid design. I mean a sideways heart...witha BEAK. WTF?!

But I've never been a fan of some of the Pokemon, like Blaziken and Luvdisc. Overall, none of the designs are horrible. However, the fourth gen is where I start to have some problems... Infernape: I don't mind Chimchar and I really like Monferno, but Infernape is just plain ugly. Bibarel: Bidoof is stupid, but this thing looks even worse. Kricketot: It just kinda looks like a modified Volbeat. How original... Bastiodon: Is that a Rhino with a shield for it's face? I'm starting to get the feeling they're running out of ideas. Burmy + Wormadam: Nothing really needs to be said here. I could go on and on, but I think I'll stop now. It seems like I actually have a problem with the majority of the fourth gen Pokemon. There's a lot of good ones, like Toxicroak and Buizel, but most of them seem to be remakes of older Pokemon, useless evolutions, or just overall crappy designs.
