Absolutely amazing Posts: 777 Group: Global Moderators Member #7 Joined: Jan 17, 2008	Kanto was confirmed a while ago, so yeah, its there. Kanto was primarily Kanto specifics, but there were 2nd gens running around. I imagine that somewhere around Kanto you'll get the full national dex, so 3rd and 4th gens will be showing up

No links, but serebii points out that in the drawn map of Johto, kanto areas are sort of shown off. One of the Kanto routes is visible, as is Mt. Silver and the Indigo Plateau.

But in G/C's Kanto (not sure about Crystal in some cases, in others I know not Crystal) you could get Houndour, Murkrow, and Slugma that you wouldn't find in Johto, maybe some others. And Mt. Silver could only be reached from some route in Kanto, and you could only get Sneasel and Misdreavus there.
