Any console.

Well the only thing I was ever actually good at competetively was Yu-Gi-Oh. I liked the video games better becacuse that way no one won because they happened to be lucky with booster packs. (Not that I wasn't kickass irl.)

-Pokemon (Was never a huge part of the pokemon battle world. But I did get into EV training and was addicted to shoddy.)

-Digimon (This is something I'm working on at the moment. I've learned all the basics, and a lot of the advanced stuff. Now I'm just getting myself some beasts.)

-Mario Kart? (Not sure if this should count, I won't bother mentioning SFIV.)

Looking back, I should probably try some 18+ games. :0

Could be, lol.

Do we have an actual definition of competetive gaming? I just assume it means a game has some strategy to it, and it's multiple player.

I think I was pretty into D/P competitive (erm, still the best)

I'm pretty good at NBA Live 09 and Halo 3. I'm pretty competitive when it comes to those games.

Gah, get NBA Live 2010 when it comes out. I don't like the shooting and club game system. It's just to confusing. NBA Live 2009 is pretty straight forward :B

Magic. I've done Yu-Gi-Oh! nats twice, but it was too luck-dependent at the highest tables, so I switched to the far better game. The competition is far better as well, I've yet to qualify for nats, and I only just got on the Pro Tour. o.0

I've tried Magic a few times. It seems pretty fun and something I would want to get into. Are there any online Magic simulators like Pokemon has Shoddy?

Yes there are. There's Magic Workstation, which is a free program that you download, install all the patches for the sets (you can usually find one large file for them), build a deck and find players much in the same way as Shoddy allows you, only the rules aren't programmed in, so you have to have some understanding of what's going on.

There's also Magic Online, which is free to download, costs $10 to register, after which you get a $10 coupon to the store to buy product, which is at the same price as irl product. You can play any format on there, and rules are programmed in, so its a great way to play if you can afford it. You can also redeem full sets of cards that you have online for full sets irl.

I guess everyone is allowed an opinion.

Well, its not that Yu-Gi-Oh! was a bad game, the cards just ended up making matches far too luck-dependent. Magic, while having an element of luck, is far more diverse and thus both deck preparation and gameplay are far more involved in terms of thought process, making it, yes, in my opinion, the superior game.

Oh, and its cheaper. : P
