Kanto was confirmed.
The area in Cinawood is the safari zone, you can make out 6 different areas for the 6 main area types: Desert, Forest, Meadow, Swamp, Rainforest, mountains.
The Frontier is most likely tucked away where the Olivine Battle tower was, you can see theres a structure there still
Well, that trumps us sir!
Haha! I was thinking something along these lines.

But, if Kanto has been confirmed then surely the Safari Zone would be there. I mean, Johto already has the Bug Catching Contest.
If you remember in G/S/C the safari zone in Kanto is shut.

I don't think they'd change that. I think it would be more likely they made a new one.

Shinto ruins, dunno where those would be tucked away. Judging from the snow, its gonna be far north.
As for the safari zone, I imagine Kanto is going to be largely unchanged, so nintendo just made a new one.

Information has been widely released about the Shinto Ruins. It's on serebii.

I just hope to god they don't put them on Mt. Silver. That would ruin the mystique of the last fight against Red for me =/

I think that if they add stuff, they'll do it so that it doesn't interfere with the main story from the previous games. At least, I don't think it's going to stray off as much from the original sorry line lol Shinto Ruins... the hell is that? Link me, niggas.
