The Storm Posts: 367 Group: Members Member #16 Joined: Jan 19, 2008	I personally think people hate on the new generations because the older games were an important part of their childhood. For example, my favourite video game of all time is Paper Mario, but it is certainly not the greatest game of all time. I think the new games are awesome, but it's not possible to recapture the genius that was the first two generations. Pink Floyd released the album "Dark Side Of The Moon", which is considered to be the high point of their career. Everything they did after that was good, but never as great as "Dark Side". I feel the same applies for the Pokemon generations.
