It's more of a fun thing to be able to choose random Pokemon from one type. A good thing about having gym leaders using Pokemon of one type is that challengers wouldn't have to worry about using an OU team to counter whatever we come up with. I want people to be able to use UU or even NU Pokemon against our teams. Don't you think it'd be cool for someone to win with their favorites? lol
