I think if we bring this back up, the gym leader should do this exclusively over shoddy, but leave an option for wi-fi if he or she is able to do it. I know that if I were a gym leader, I'd allow someone to challenge me over wi-fi. I don't think I'd have a problem scrapping up pokes and making a team =o
