It needs to be about 20% cooler
In Janurat 2012, Derpy finally spoke in "The Last Roundup" (An awesome Applejack episode). Sadly, some soccer moms complained that she was "offensive to people with mental disabilities", and she was censored for the iTunes release. This new censored version has her eyes looking in the same direction, no name, and an annoying voice. People thought her original voice was mocking mentally challenged people, when she wasn't. Tabitha St. Germain, her voice actress (And also the voice of Rarity, Granny Smith, and Princess Luna) confirmed that she didn't see what Derpy looked like yet and thought she was voicing a MALE character, so she used a voice based after her ten-year-old neighbor (kinda like how Veronica Taylor based Ash's voice slightly off her ten-year-old nephew). All of welovefine.com's shirts (also sold at Hot Topic) have removed her name.
(Please note that this is only on the versions seen on iTunes and The Hub's website. You can still see the original on the Hub and on the new FiM DVD. Also, the writers DIDN'T change Derpy. Hasbro did)
Since this, Derpy hasn't been seen in any episodes since. She came back for a brief, unnamed and unvoiced cameo in "Hurricane Fluttershy", but that was it. I don't recall seeing her in "A Canterlot Wedding" (Both parts). So Derpy still needs your help.

The petition to bring her back.
If you help out, thanks.

Du arg, bror?
|I don't even like the series, but it's stupid that people claim she's offensive to people with mental disabilities. I mean, are Patrick and Ed offensive? No.|
