Medicham@ Fist Plate/ Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability-Pure Power
Ev's: 56 HP, 252 Atk, 200 Spe
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch
- Zen Headbutt

--------------------

Medicham's scary attack stat often goes to waste since its strongest reliable STAB attack is Hi Jump Kick, and this is only reliable in the loosest sense of the word. This set aims to make use of that 480 Atk stat alongside an extremely strong 150 power STAB Focus Punch (the strongest unboosted physical attack in the game this side of Slaking's Giga Impact), to leave most of Medicham's counters reeling.

Since the most common Medicham is easily the Scarf set, your opponent will most likely not be expecting you to throw a sub up in their face. From behind this safety net you can launch your devastating Focus Punch, or any of your other two moves. Ice Punch has great coverage alongside Focus Punch, and Zen Headbutt completes his moveset with a powerful STAB Psychic typed attack.

The strategy with this set is simple. Bring Medicham in on something that it directly threatens, e.g. Blissey, or if you are willing to take a risk bring it in on something faster like Infernape to feign the Choice Scarf set. As your opponent switches out, you can set up a substitute and prepare to hit the switch in with your choice of attack.

The Speed EVs hit 246 Spe, allowing you to outrun Jolly Tyranitar and most things that EV to be faster (Celebi, defensive Zapdos, Suicune, etc). Max Atk is obvious, and the rest of the EVs are place into defense to bulk up its Substitutes somewhat. Use Fist Plate / Black Belt to get some extra bite into your Focus Punch, or Leftovers if you think you'll be able to pull of a substitute more than once.

..................................................................................................................
Now some damage calcs for you viewing pleasure: (all calculations are with Medicham holding Fist Plate / Black Belt)
Code:

[u][b]Focus Punch vs 252/160 Skarmory [/b][/u]- 71.0 - 83.8%
Focus Punch + Ice Punch kills Skarmory.

[u][b]Focus Punch vs 252/96 Forretress [/b][/u]- 70.1 - 83.0%
Second Focus Punch kills Forretress while you are safe behind the sub.

[u][b]Focus Punch vs 252/40 Jolly Gliscor [/b][/u]- 44.1 - 52.3%
If Gliscor Roosts, the second Focus Punch will do double damage and possibly kill him. Otherwise, Ice Punch kills.

[u][b]Focus Punch vs 252/196 Hippowdon [/b][/u]- 62.3 - 73.8%
Focus Punch + Ice Punch kills

The biggest Meowth fan ever.
If the calculatios are right,I might use that.Howrever it will be hard with all these Bullet Punches around.Medicham has not the best defenses.Nor the best speed.
