This is the Team Discussion forum at Pokelounge. Here you can post your teams, get them rated, and get suggestions for new movesets or pokemon. Additional Rules Be Polite - This means not to offend others by calling them n00bs or anything of the like. Instead of making fun of people, help them and teach them what they did wrong. Organization - This means to organize your team and make it easy for people to read. If you have information all over the place and you expect people to help you, then you may be mistaken. Tips Physical/Special - Remember when making a team that each attacking move has a physical or special type. The pokemon's stat can effect which moves you choose over others. An example would be Waterfall over Surf. Why would you do that when Waterfall has less base power? Because maybe the pokemon you wish to train is a physical attacker which can make Waterfall more powerful than Surf would be. Remember the Standard Rules - Remembering the Standard Competitive Battle Rules can be very important in most team creation. Certain moves are banned along with some pokemon. This can prevent you from making a team based off of One Hit Knock Out moves or evasion raising moves. Most people ban these moves which would make your team useless. Format Tips - Creating a team is hard work. Making sure each pokemon can work together, keeping yourself from having a huge weakness to common pokemon. All that work shouldn't go to waste, so make it easy on the raters/helpers by using one of the following team format, or another one that you use normally that people can read easily. Option 1 Pokemon@Item //Nickname Nature~EVs~Trait Move 1 Move 2 Move 3 Move 4 Option 2 Pokemon@Item //Nickname Nature/Trait EVs Move 1 Move 2 Move 3 Move 4 Option 3 Pokemon@Item //Nickname Nature EVs Trait Move 1 Move 2 Move 3 Move 4 ~desu Saba~ Edited by Ooka, Jan 21 2008, 02:33 PM.
