We were so young when we met that our first "promise rings" were cheap and old.. still sentiemental but yah now.. we needed to upgrade We have gold bands now but when we hit our 20th anniversary were are gonna get platinum bands

Ended up having sex on Christmas, a relationship on New Years, and now he wants to get engaged before he goes on his deployment {since he's an aircrew member, it's a 4 month deployment}.
