First thing first: ZOMBIES MUST BE KILLED WITH A HEAD SHOT! NO BODY SHOTS! THIS IS NOT LEFT 4 DEAD (THE FIRST ONE WAS BETTER THAN THE SECOND)!
Lets hit the basics.

1) No God modding. You are not perfect. You are human. You can't kill 50 zombies with twelve pistol rounds. Not happening. You will be warned, then banned. 2) No Power plays. You can't control another persons character. More importantly, you can't kill them without their say so. Feel free to ambush, but its them that decide if the bullet strikes or not. 3) Keep it interesting! More of a guideline, than a rule. Just don't make thousands of topics of, "Hi, my name's [whatever]" "Hi, I'm [Whoever]. Let's talk about our problems." "Yay!" 4) There will always be zombies. If you make a post, make a reference to the zombies. Seeing one, hearing one, smelling one, killing one, screwing one, if your character is necrophiliac. Just make a pass at the presence of the destruction for an entire metropolis. 5) Your name must be that of either your group or of your character. No "Mary_Kitty_Colinoscapy1223" as a name. Not happening. I'll ask you to change it and then I'll flat out delete the account.
Setting

Keep in mind that you are in a metropolis. There are no forests inside the city walls, much less trees. The only forest is the square mile of park in District 4. This is a concrete Jungle. Also, keep in mind that this is a post-apocalyptic city. You wont see cars or people going to work. Just other survivors, GeneTwist 'mop up crews' and lots of zombies. It's a dark place. Get used to it. You'll also find most of the districts' concrete buildings and bridges collapsed or in ruin. The military carpet bombed the city when the infection go worse, before finally sealing the gates.
Division

Before the zombies even came, there were great walls, fifty feet high and ten feet thick, dividing the districts. Each wall had an equally large gate of solid, 12 foot thick steel. The doors are all closed now and the only way between districts is either the sewer, the metros or the system of scaffolding and ladders that now litter the walls. Either way, it's a dangerous journey between districts.
Groups

You might have seen this somewhere else before, but this will be the first time I've done this. I was thinking character playable groups, basically, four man teams controlled by a single person. If you are interested in doing so, There will be a form of application.
When you register, register with a character name. If you decide to make a group, you can either make the group leader's name match the account, or you can change the account name to the actual name of the group. There is no limit to what you do. You can mix a half zombie with three humans, or have four pure undead, or three half zombies and one pure zombie. Whatever! But, if you want a special character, say a GeneTwist Co. member or a Special Zombie, you still have to get that approved and then the party cap is reduced to three. Happy hunting.
Weapons System

The way the weapons work is that you have your approved starter kit. As you progress you may either add stars to weapon or equipment slots already owned, or you can buy new slots, that start automatically with one star.
If you were to buy a weapon slot with two stars, you'd save money, for buying in bulk. Just an incentive to save you cash. If you want to.
Also, things like mini-guns will have special combination's of weapons slots and stars. Using the mini-gun as an example again, it will require two weapon slots each with four stars.
