Rie grumbled as she stared at the equation, her eyebrow twitching. No matter how much she had studied for this, the girl never truly understood Chemistry. One could argue that it was slightly more complex math, and admittedly that's what it was. Math she wasn't exactly great at either, but she at least understood the basic applications of it well enough. Very few of these ever applied to Chemistry, especially since each element had different ways of working, and when balancing things both sides had to be adjusted instead of just solving for one thing. Of course they had to save the hardest stuff for the final day of her exam. It's like fighting the current NagaPro champion at the end of a long tournament, and you haven't beaten them in a match once. So far, Chemistry was just that. Okay, deep breath, Rie... she told herself. Don't submit to this problem yet, you can do this... Just... Maybe I have to balance the oxygen first? Or is it the phosphorus...? Wait, no. Stop. This is just math, the elements don't matter here... So if I just... After scribbling a few things down on her paper, she looked at her answer and nodded, happy with her work. Okay, maybe I have it this time! I might actually get through this! Then she read the next question on the sheet.
The girl groaned and planted her head on the desk. Eventually, the test came to a conclusion, and the girl sighed. "Finally done..." she mumbled as she got up out of her chair and stretched. She was pretty sure she did poorly on most of the chemistry problems, but she'd have to wait for the results as a whole in order to see how well she did. For now, the wrestler simply chose to wander around the buildings for a bit before settling on an empty club room. With nobody in here, maybe she could practice a promo or something for when she got back? Even if it was just a week out, she did have a bit of a feud going on with KIMURA, a younger wrestler only a couple of years Rie's senior, who happened to call her out on Sunday while she was studying, and the plan was to have them verbally go back and forth with each other for a few weeks until they would have a match for the first time Making sure no one was around, she began to speak up in a cocky tone, befitting of her character. "KIMURA-san, you just couldn't bother to keep your mouth shut last week, could you? I step away for one week and all the sudden you think I'm too scared to face you? ...no no, there should be a bit more," she said before starting from the top, too focused on getting her performance down pat to notice if anyone opening the door. |

"Monday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Friday~!" It was an old tune that Hideyoshi had a habit of singing the song to himself when he was occupied with something else since he was a boy. He picked up it up from his own father. It was only years later that he realized where it was from. But by then, sentimentality and routine had eased him past the unfortunate implications. He was in a pretty good mood! The History portion of the exams had been handled early in the week and he was ahead in grading. Better still? Most of his students seem to have met or exceeded the personal goals that he encouraged them to set for themselves. Not to shabby when measured against the cold hard calculus of grade rankings either. In short, it was a much needed very good day for him! He decided he was going to take a scenic route to his next order of business for that day. It would have given him ample time to check in on the status of the gardens too. It meant he was passing by club rooms that should be empty by then. And as he passed one he heard a bombastic and boisterous voice. Young and female. was it familiar though? Hmm…he wasn't sure. He cracked open the door and the one-eyed teacher poked his head inside. He observed her for a moment. The girl with moderately tanned skin and the ponytail. She always seemed to have some new bruise or bandage if he recalled correctly. Bullying was ruled out of hand, from what he'd seen and asked about her observations she got along well with her peers. The next obvious question was inquiring about her family life, but she wasn't one of his students yet, so asking her homeroom teacher to give the matter due consideration was the extent that he could have done. But this was curious. She wasn't trash talking the air she was…ah! Now he got it. This was a rehearsal. "Sano-san, letting off a bit of steam after the exams, are we?" As usual, Hideyoshi Wada was his bright and easy-going self. He didn't let the fact that he had covered up his left eye damper his mood in the least. He was wearing a short sleeved white button up with a green paisley tie his eyepatch had a similar pattern as a somewhat festive touch. |
