“Hey.” After several minutes of tension and dogdy eyeing, the tall and skinny man in jeans was finally, inevitably, standing right in front of Makiho in the subway. The guy had been giving her bad vibes since he got on a couple stations ago, but only after crossing the Downtown station the car was empty enough to let him “casually” approach her. This wasn’t the first time Makiho had to deal with obnoxious surprise flirters. In her mind she gave a deep, annoyed sigh, but her lips stayed curved upwards; there was no reason to be hostile from the get-go. “Good evening, sir. Can I help you?” “Never saw you around here before.” The guy propped up his arm, resting his hand on the handrail just above her. Anyone could see how that was invasive; and okay, maybe she should have shut him off immediately. “What’s your name?” “I’m just passing through Nagashima.” she asserted, cocking her head a little forward and making it clear she wouldn’t say more. As far as she was concerned, that was a clear sign of disinterest... but the guy wasn't moving. “More the reason to make friends while you’re here, dontcha think?” he insisted. “You’re from the capital, I can tell. It’s the accent.” Huh, was it that noticeable? Makiho raised her eyebrows, as if asking why that was relevant in any way. He kept pushing a conversation; in fact Makiho’s lack of a follow-up would allow him to get to the point quicker. His face inching closer, he almost whispered, “I hear the gals from there are a pretty party-crazy bunch, eh?” Ah, she knew where he was getting at. First time Makiho had come across someone this shameless, but her friends at Yoyogi had experienced this before. “Is that so?” She smiled politely, but in a blatantly forced manner to let him know his words weren’t appreciated. “Sir, I beg you to please stop offending me with those implications." She then turned away. “Have a good day.” Makiho pulled her phone from her bag, pretending to be busy on it. If words didn’t get the message across, perhaps being ignored– Was that a hand? Makiho turned around. She stared at the man wide-eyed, the shock delaying anger from coming through and out. The bastard had calculated his move as well, since the train doors opened just two seconds later, and he walked out with the biggest, smuggest grin on his face. “Later, Tokyo-chan.” And that did it. Makiho was far from her destination, but she shoved the cellphone in her bag and jumped out of the wagon anyway, looking around and through the crowd that was still getting off –some of them throwing her pitying or concerned looks. “Hey!” Makiho’s angry but controlled voice was just audible over the crowd. “Come here, you pig!” What was she going to do if the guy did return? No idea, but she couldn’t just accept it and let him go, could she…? Edited by Parorou, Mar 28 2018, 05:13 PM.

For once, Emi was in a great mood. Today was the day Eun and her were going to hang out. To say she was excited would be an understatement. Hanging out with a friend...That hadn't happened in a very long time. In fact, she'd taken so much time fussing over what she should wear, her father had thought she was going on a date. So, she settled on something similar to her usual. This time she was wearing a red t-shirt with a black skirt and her usual combat boots. Still flashy, still out there, but it at least proved she had more than one outfit. She had plenty of time before they were meeting up, so she stopped by an accessory shop. She wanted to buy something to thank Eun for doing this in the first place. After spending nearly an hour in the store, she'd decided on a small white bow. It would really look cute on Eun, that was for sure. So, Emi was walking, staring down at the bow in her hand. Was it a little too much though? She didn't want to overwhelm Eun just because she wasn't used to having friends. She'd already bought the damn thing though, and it was pretty expensive. Maybe she should ju- "Come here, you pig!" "Hm?" Emi looked up just in time to be slam right into a man. She stumbled back, and fell hard against the ground. There was a splash as she landed in the most inconveniently spilled drink in the entire world. Some fucking asshole had either dropped or discarded their nearly full drink. Either way it didn't feel good to fall into. It took a moment for Emi to even realize what had happened. She looked down slowly and saw she was sitting in a puddle of spilled soda. It was soaking into her skirt and splashed against her lower back and arms. She held up her hand and took stock of the state of the bow. It was a goner. It was completely soaked. The white bow had turned a gross shade of dark brown. Emi was up before she even knew what she was doing. While the man had tried to continue on his way, Emi quickly caught up and gripped his shoulder tightly from behind. "Hey, asshole! It's rude to bump into people, you know!?" Her face was twisted in rage as she spoke. Her mind had gone completely blank, having no real plan for what would happen next. All she knew was that he had ruined her gift. He was either going to pay in money or blood. |

The guy turned and looked around, finally lowering his face to meet Emi's furious stare. "Sorry, lil' sister." The man actually seemed to be sincere; after all, he had no business with some rascal child. Carefully, he grabbed Emi's wrist and took it off his shoulder. "It was an accident, no need to get violent, okay?" At that moment, his ears picked up some commotion that was approaching; he lifted his eyes and caught sight of Makiho, who guided by the exclamations of people around Emi and him was getting closer, her finger pointed at his face. "That's him! The man who-um," She stammered, "Th-the man who...!" Her face went bright-red. "T-touched me inappropriately!" And as usual, the majority of the crowd looked aside, pretending to not hear her and hurried their step; but some people reacted with evident anger and disgust, a few that were in the subway a minute ago nodding to confirm her declaration. The guy mantained visual contact with Makiho from the distance, and clicked his tongue. "Shit, I gotta bail," he said casually to Emi, and started to turn around. "Let me make it up to you some other day, girly. You're famous so I'll find you easily, I think. Later." And like that, he started to run away as a fuming Makiho sped up behind him. Emi stared daggers at the man, put his sincere apology put her at ease. It seems he was going to approach this reasonably after all. "Okay." Despite her agreement, there was a deadly edge to her voice. They were going to deal with this though. Now. Before they could get further into the conversation, a girl suddenly burst out of the crowd and proclaimed that he...touched her inappropriately. There was a moment of silence as she felt the crowd surge, not moving to apprehend the man or help out the girl, but instead to simply pretend like they hadn't heard anything. Fucking really? In her moment of distraction, though, the man spoke once more and finally made a break for it. Emi's rage surged once more. "Outta my fucking way!" She yelled and she sprinted after the man, pushing any poor soul that got in her way aside. If they weren't going to help, then they could piss right off. Fuck these people and fuck this stupid guy. "If you know me!" She shouted as she got closer. "Then you should know better than to fuck with me!" On that note, she kicked forward, sliding onto the ground in an attempt to hook her foot around the man's and knock him to the ground. |

The man was not expecting that; the next second, he was face-down on the pavement. He rolled on his back getting away from Emi's reach and jumped up, rubbing away a trail of nose blood with his fist. He looked at Emi with bewilderment; he imagined the infamous high school criminal was violent, but not unreasonable. "I'm not fucking with you, fuck's sake!" he groaned, "I said I'd make it up to ya, didn't I?" He dusted his jeans and looked around, noticing the crowd now several feet away was thinning out; and among them, a known figure was diligently approaching. "Let's meet somewhere in a hour if you're so pissed." The auburn-haired girl was getting closer, now. "Choose quick, kid. The park's good for ya?" Edited by Parorou, Mar 28 2018, 05:15 PM.

The man was speaking, but Emi didn't really hear him. She kicked up and immediately rushed the man, grabbing at his shirt and pulling him towards her. She was pissed about a lot of things and she certainly wasn't going to let him off the hook for groping people. She needed to teach every motherfucker in here a lesson about common courtesy. But first. "Blood or money." She hissed. "I have somewhere really important to be soon and you fucked up my outfit AND my gift!" Her hands gripped his shirt harder, her eyes narrowing. "So, you either pay for the damages or I'll destroy you right here and now." She cocked her head back a moment, looking at the approaching girl. "I'd say you don't have a ton of time to make your decision." Though, she wondered just what he was so afraid of. Aside from Emi herself, no one in this fucking place even batted an eye at her plea. Well, maybe she was a hidden badass or something. |

The guy had underestimated this pintsized beast it seemed. He put his hands on the girl's shoulders and pushed her away with all his strength, not minding her age, size or gender; if she wanted to fight like a grown man, that's the treatment she would get. "How much do those rags you're wearing cost, anyway?" he spit, "Crazy bitch. I'm not giving you anything." Noticing the blood and Emi's behavior, Makiho had stopped cold some meters away. "Oh, no." She had her hand up in her mouth and a mortified expression. Behind her, two police officers -the ones she had been guiding with her words- were following closely, ready to apprehend the offender... except that this girl was now also an offender. Makiho didn't have much time to think. She sprinted forward and grabbed Emi's hand pulling her away from the harasser and out of the station. "Hurry!" Behind them, the man was so stunned by this bizarre turn of events he stood still for a moment; but unfortunately the officers were even more baffled, which allowed him to come back to his senses, leap over a low bush wall and disappear. Makiho didn't stop until they were at least a block away, eventually releasing Emi's hand before coming to a full-stop, resting her hands on her knees. The officers should be too busy with the bastard to go after the girls, so they shouldn't need to get further. "Haah..." She wheezed; the girl was in good shape but the little shot of adrenaline had her heart pounding. "That was close!" The nearest level of thrill she had felt in a while was trying to get into the subway before the doors closed. Edited by Parorou, Mar 28 2018, 05:17 PM.

When Emi was suddenly shoved, her scowl deepened. She caught herself and immediately rose her fists. "More than you're life, apparently." She said in response. Fine, she'd kick his ass and just TAKE his wallet. She started to lunge forward when her hand was suddenly grabbed. She felt a pull and stumbled backwards, trying to catch herself as she was pulled back away from the man and the station. At first, Emi was so confused, she wasn't entirely sure what to do. She looked ahead and saw the girl from before seemingly guiding her. She stared for a few seconds before her anger started to bubble back to the surface. "What the fuck was that!?" She hissed as they came to a rest. Emi didn't even seem to be the slightest bit out of breath. She was used to running quite a bit after all. She walked forward, getting in the girl's face now. "I fucking had him right there!" |

Makiho was too buzzed on adrenaline to be bothered by the younger girl's foul language, or even her lack of gratitude. Her immediate concern was that the girl had seriously intended to fight the man one-on-one with her fists and kicks alone. If this was how she usually acted, how was it that she was still whole? Still agitated, Makiho looked at her with furrowed brows until she catched her breath again. "First," she huffed, "they would have caught you for assault. And second," she straightened up and put her hands on her hips, "did you see the face of that man? If you kept that up who knows what he would've done to you!" Her attempt at scolding wasn't very effective, with her heavy breathing and a smile that was fighting to push its way to her face. After a moment, she sighed. "...I appreciate what you did, but please don't be reckless like that." Makiho assumed Emi had heard her and punched the guy because of that, unaware of the personal aspects of the confrontation. |

Emi's eyes widened when the girl suddenly spun and started giving her a lecture. Definitely not what she expected. Her eyes widened considerably more when she spoke of her getting caught. Shit, had cops actually responded? She didn't even notice any...Emi sighed, taking a step back and crossing her arms. "I could've taken him." She spoke matter of factly. She had no idea about the man's training. She realized he was much bigger than her, but it wasn't a fight she was going to lose. No matter what. Still, it's not like she could do anything about it now... "Well no one else had the stones to step up." Emi replied flatly, turning her head away as she spoke. It was a bit embarrassing being thanked for being a violent person. "I also had a personal stake in this." She produced the bow, which was still gripped tightly in her other hand. The soda had stained it beyond recognition at this rate. "The jackass pushed me right into a puddle of garbage, but screw me for wanting him to take responsibility right?" She hissed, just thinking about his reaction pissed her right the hell off. |
