Ryuunosuke was back in the alleyway again, watching the man on the floor spit blood before shakily laughing at him and Joe.

"He doesn't wanna say anything because then you'll know what a big piece of shit he is," The gang member wheezed, glaring up at the two persona users. "Most people don't want their friends to know they were a fucking enforcer for a gang."

Just like before, Ryuunosuke felt the blood freeze in his veins. When he turned to look at Joe, his friend was furious, red-faced and snarling with an expression Ryuunosuke had never seen from him before. "You're gonna run away from your problems again? You're gonna shut out all your friends again until there's another high schooler to threaten?! When are you gonna deal with this shit?! Are you waiting for someone else to get hurt?!"

Ryuunosuke felt his throat locking up, but even if he could speak, there was nothing he could say. He stepped back and turned away, only to see himself standing behind him. Ryuunosuke's shadow glared at him with its yellow eyes before sneering and saying, "Look at you now. Your sister knows you're a freak. You've pushed away all your friends. Now it's just you, all alone."

Then, he was back in Tokyo. He was floating above the ground, weightless, with only a slight pressure around his neck.

"And you're nothing."

Ryuunosuke opened his eyes. He was in Nagashima.

He was sitting on a bench in one of the residential districts, on his way back to the dorms. He had stopped only because he would have collapsed in the street otherwise, and he couldn't have anyone finding him that way. He'd only meant to take a brief break, but he'd apparently dozed off.

After a moment, Ryuunosuke noticed a wet feeling on his eyes, running down his cheeks. He reached up and wiped at his face, taking a deep shuddering breath. Despite the tears, he just felt numb. He tried to get up, but it felt like a heavy weight was keeping him on the bench.

It didn't matter. None of it would matter soon.

WHERE THE FUCK IS MARIO
Anastasia had wandered once more. The girl had heard so much about her sisters steps involving her movement into this city, with few warehouses surviving fire if not being torn apart by gangs and used as a place to hide. She was wondering if there truly was anything left of the sister she knew nothing about. Nothing that anyone else wouldn't already know. That she was a monster in human skin.

It was then she walked by the boy. He looked sad. She did not recognize him immediately, but a few moments after she did. It took a few moments more to say something. A practiced phrase. "I did not expect to see you today." She spoke with precision, but still a few stumbles. It wasn't an easy language to speak. It sounded almost too clinical. "Are you.... alright....?"

A voice. Ryuunosuke looked up faintly, vision blurry. It took him more than a moment to recognize who it was. When he did, his expression was not overcome with anger, like the last time he had seen Anastasia - he just looked back down at the ground, his face heavy with sorrow.

"I didn't expect to see you, either," Ryuunosuke said. His voice was quiet, scratchy, like he had been crying for quite some time. "What do you want?" He asked. He tried to insert some bite, some venom, into the question, but instead, his voice just trembled, like a wild dog too wounded to fight back.

She was the wrong person to be doing this. This was the wrong thing to be doing. She knew nothing of Ryunnosuke but he knew everything about her sister. "I don't...." This was even more difficult with the damned barrier. "I don't want anything. What do you want?" She repeated his words, almost like a child. The question was simple enough. Just what did he want? Did he want anything from a woman like her?

What did Ryuunosuke want?

He wanted the world to go back to the way it was. He wanted his sister to forget about everything. He wanted Joe to forgive him, for Hotaru to talk to him again, for Kiku to not be burdened with his troubles. He wanted it all to stop - the pain, the weight of it all, the constant struggles of going out and being alive.

He wanted her back. None of this was possible. It was all a saccharine fantasy - one that he'd dreamed of over and over again.

"... Nothing," he said simply. "Not anymore." He glanced up at Anastasia. Why was she talking to him? He'd threatened her life before, hadn't he? Just like he'd done for Kitano. Just another in a long line of mistakes.

"You don't have to worry about me threatening you," Ryuunosuke said. "I'll be out of your hair soon enough."

"Nothing...?" She replied almost quizzically. Nobody wants nothing. Even she wanted something. What did she want? What was she hoping to gain in all this? The girl waited for a moment. He wouldn't be around any longer...? Was he giving up? Was he giving up in the way everyone 'gave up..?' The Russian shook her head slowly. "No." She replied, almost defiantly. Not that she had a horse in this race.

"Don't.... do it." She struggled. "Don't do what.... you think will fix things." The girl frowned slightly. "Sister did same thing and I... I never met her." The girl couldn't be more annoyed at how hard it was to communicate. She probably sounded incredibly uneducated.

It took more than a few seconds for Ryuunosuke to comprehend what Anastasia had said. 'No?' 'Don't do it?' He looked over at her, eyes muddled with confusion. Why was she saying those things? There was no reason for her to care. The two of them had met once, and it had not been pleasant for her, almost assuredly. Then, he'd plastered the fact that she was in town all over Bedlam - though she likely didn't know that. Regardless, she had no obligation to talk to him right now, let alone even try and convince him not to... well.

Then, Ryuunosuke thought, why?

The mention of Aleksandria darkened Ryuunosuke's expression again. He turned away, looking down at the ground again, and thought silently for a moment before saying, "That's... that's not what happened to your sister." He shook his head. "Not the same."

Anastasia looked down at Ryunnosuke in surprise. "What happen to sister?" It was worded almost like a child. This was the first good bit of information she had for once. Someone was willing to say something. "You can't..." The girl frowned slightly, upset at how simple she would sound. "You shouldn't.... give up." It was almost like a child telling someone not to go. "Its easy to give up... but harder to continue."

She shook her head. "What happened to sister. Why does everyone.... hate me?" She asked. The conversation wasn't the avenue for it, but this wasn't the time to be picky. Information was information.

It made sense that Anastasia didn't know. It wasn't as though she would enter Nagashima automatically with information about Personas just because she was a Fyodor. Ryuunosuke said nothing when Anastasia asked, and nothing further when she told him not to give up. He just looked at the shifting colors of the skyline - it was getting dark soon. He was going to miss curfew if he stayed out too long.

He couldn't bring himself to leave, though. It wasn't just the exhaustion, either - something else was keeping him in the conversation, and he couldn't quite put a finger on what.

When Anastasia asked her question again, Ryuunosuke responded, "I can't tell you that," he said. "It's... it's complicated. If all you want is information about your sister, you're better off asking someone else."

"Why not...?" Anastasia was a lot more insistent. "Why does everyone glare...? Why does everyone want to kill me?" Her words were focused. "Why is it complicated?" The girl continued. "Why can't you tell me?" The words were constructed from all the words he had spoke and her very limited grasp of the language. A breakthrough was inevitable. "Why?" She asked again. "Why are... you giving up?" She stumbled through the wording slowly.

"Tell me." Her words were almost harsh. Her accent slipping in.
