So...I'm still getting back into the swing of things, but I figure I'd try to play with more people. I'm trying to focus a little more on character interaction, so...more opportunity for character interaction would be good. Some of these are more well-developed than others, and I can easily see about fitting one of my characters into another plot in a supporting role.
Shin Imoto Shin's going to have a rough patch ahead of him due to losing access to his persona. This -- as was spelled out in a single post -- is related to him swinging too far from the middle road approach emphasized by the Temperance Arcanum. If you view the balance as between mercy and severity, he shifted too far toward the latter. I'm going to try to have events unfold to push him in that direction, but I think that having him interact with a few more non-police characters who aren't teenagers. Especially people who can put him in a situation with actual dilemmas to them (which is somewhat more important than the age-range issue, though most threads focus on younger characters, and I would like to focus more on people in the same age cohort of college or older.)
I'm also looking for situations to bring in his burakumin background as an actual factor, because that's just been kind of there for a while. His status as "best corpse-finder in the police department" probably doesn't help matters, given the association of Burakumin with unclean professions such as undertakers and butchers.
Naoya Imoto For the moment, Naoya's in a bit of a holding pattern. I would like to build up the Ichiban Metalworks and the people associated with it into more of an actual associated group, possibly with a group SL. He would be willing to teach anyone interested how to forge weapons, though his style hinges fairly heavily on the person he's working with having fire immunity.
It would be pretty easy for anyone who wants to to interact with him (which could also serve as an introduction to Shin, because Shin makes bullets at the metalworks so he doesn't have to do paperwork about killing shadows,) by taking advantage of his Bedlam Arms Program.
I would also like to do more stuff with the FriendOfAFriend Bedlam account -- the anonymous mental-health sounding board thing.
Rio Matsushita Also in a little bit of a holding pattern. Kind of disillusioned with things because Bedlam has -- in her opinion -- caused as much harm as good, and is thinking about whether she actually wants to follow journalism, which was in a bit of a crisis in Japan in 2014. I'm still figuring out her current plot.
Ng Wei Wei had a very unpleasant meeting while in Taiwan, related to his family's business. He's also an unrepentant dick. He's slightly off of the table at the moment for interaction, but that will be changing fairly soon. If you need someone to throw up and raise the level of chaos/hipster douche, hit me up.
Kazue Morin Kazue...see the thread entitled "Stories-Bones-Tell." Still working on that. I would also like her to be more than a plot device, and I've been intentionally playing up the third culture kid element of her character (that is, someone who moved from one country to another and isn't really a part of either the original or the new culture,) so I'd like to put her in situations where her appearing to be Japanese and not really being a part of the culture create dramatic -- or comic -- scenes. Her not really understanding how romantic relationships work might have potential, but she's also a bit of a cold fish, so I don't know.
Atsuko Hisakawa Kind of intimately connected to the Black Hoods situation, but actively trying to cultivate some kind of relationship with persona users in the hopes that they won't want her murdered when they find out who she is and what her prior affiliation was. So, if you're interested in the Black Hoods plot, but don't want your character to be ambushed by a group of men wearing masks, hit me up.
