Yes… I’d sell the souls of all humanity to the devil if I thought it’d get us a happy ending.
The van had finally started to slow down just when Noriko thought it'd keep going without her, and she finally managed to catch up. It took her a few seconds to catch her breath afterwards though. While her upper body strength was just fine for working in the forge, it left her running abilities a bit to be desired... She even realized that the entire ordeal had worked her up into a sweat, and it only served to further sour her already not-great mood.

"You have a lot... of explaining to do" she declared to the van as she cautiously approached it. "If you're taking Tachibana somewhere to get him out of work, you're going to have to answer to me first. And if you're trying to take him away for something else..." The blacksmith approached the passenger side window slowly, her body tensed to move however she'd need to if things got bad. "Then you're still going to have to answer me. Even if hired against my will, nobody messes with a Kaneshiro Metalworks employee on my watch. Speak up if you're alive in there, Tachibana. If you're not, I've already got the police on speed dial."

Best Influence.
Shit. I do not want the police to show up.

She didn't want to talk more than she had to, but these people were apparently not prepared to accept a mysterious savior who swooped in to intimidate their would-be-killers and snatched them up to take them to safety. Though she at least had some context. Atsuko's eyes glanced back at Miharu and Hideki in the back -- they had lacerations from the dry ice bombs. Shit. She felt slightly less pride at that idea than she had previously felt.

She snapped her fingers to get Tomoyo's attention, and then gestured at the crank to lower the passenger side window, telling her to lower it.

"The boy's alive but unconscious. They were attacked. Get in."

Apparently this woman was some associate of theirs and, from the context, a persona user. Letting her wander around this area was a bad call: she might get picked off by the enemy.
