Hideki quickly led the other three to the food court, to the restaurant that he advised. Both Yuki and Sanae ordered their food, with Yuki offering to cover for everyone (and Sanae insisting to pay her part, of course). As they sat down in the steel chairs waiting for their meals, Yuki spoke up again.

"This is quite nice." He commented, referring to the fact the four were able to get together and enjoy a nice meal. "Most people I know these days are running around frantically, too busy to hang out with others. I wish we could do this sort of thing more often, but I don't think others would be interested..." It was a shame. He'd sure like the opportunity to cook for someone who wasn't Hanako or Machi for a change.

"Really, now?" Sanae couldn't relate but was empathetic to it. Her popularity made it so it was easy to find someone to spend time with; in fact, she had to pick and choose as people went out of their way to request her company. But perhaps it was a good thing that she was so picky. "Maybe you need to show them you're serious, Yuki-san. Plan an outing of some sort or keeping in mind their schedules so they can't refuse." A playful smile filled her lips with the second suggestion.

"Perhaps..."

Yes… I’d sell the souls of all humanity to the devil if I thought it’d get us a happy ending.
Finally seated, Bart took in his surroundings with a grin on his face. "Ahh... It really is nice. I've always loved having a good chance to sit down and have a meal with friends! It's really the best way to eat, at least in my own humble opinion." He chuckled brightly along with the group he had the pleasure of being with that afternoon, a situation certainly helped by meeting two new people to share it with! Yuki and Sanae certainly seemed like pleasant people of the highest degree, so Bart was ecstatic to spend time with them. "I know that I'd certainly be interested in doing this more, but I suppose that wouldn't be too much of a surprise to you, eh Tachibana-san?"

"Have you eaten here often?" he asked the two strangers as things began getting closer to making their orders. "I'm thinking of perhaps trying something at random, but if you had any suggestions I'd be open for them as well!" It was always a good way to get to know his friends a little better as well. You could tell a lot about people depending on what their tastes were like, after all. Although perhaps ramen tastes were a bit different...

Only one way for him to find out!

Sanae's suggestion was a curious and intriguing one as well, one that caught Bart's attention rather quickly. "Do you have something in mind, Miyamoto-san? If it's as fascinating as what you're describing I'd certainly be up for helping you get it going. Big outings with lots of friends are the best sorts of ways to get to know one another at all!"

Thankfully, it seems that Hideki managed to choose the right option for a meal, after all, you can't ever go wrong with ramen. He felt a little bit guilty for allowing Yuki to pay for everyone, but the feeling quickly went away, as they all sat down together. This was definitely not what he planned when he arrived at the mall, but he could hardly complain, given the company around him.

"Oh? Haha, yeah, I wouldn't mind this. It definitely made my afternoon more interesting!"
He wasn't used to such group gatherings, but more of these wouldn't hurt at all. It'd make him feel more like he's a normal teenager, and not someone that fights supernatural forces he still can't understand completely. Once he listened to Yuki's dilemma, he spoke up. "Well, the summer is coming very soon, and the warmer weathers are creeping in, perhaps people will be more willing to hang out more often?"

And then Sanae brought up the idea of actually doing an outing, which Bart followed up with a big outing. For a moment Hideki was kind of disappointed Nagashima didn't have a proper beach, it'd be cool to spend a day there with friends. "Mmmh, are there any places in Nagashima where we can do outings like that?" He asked, hoping no one would say 'karaoke bar'. Definitely not, after Bart's party.

To Bart's question, Sanae shook her head, not going into details. She would eat there more often if she had the money; however, her financial situation didn't permit her to do such a thing, and she didn't exactly like to impose on others as she learned the true value of money the hard way. Yuki shook his head as well, but he wasn't so bashful about it.

"I don't, really. Usually I just come to Tanjiro to buy fresh goods in a pinch that the staff back home didn't pick up during their rounds. Plus I don't like making a dent in their budget for my own cooking experiments." His eyes widened as he noticed he had gone on a bit of a tangent. He cleared his throat and laughed nervously. "I just prefer to eat home cooked meals, is what I mean. Not that I mind this at all, really." He quite cherished the time he was spending with the three of them, in fact.

The conversation was shifted towards the outing Sanae had suggested. She took a moment to ponder it, her teeth lightly nibbling at the end of the straw poking out of her soda cup before perking up and speaking. "Well, summer is coming. Perhaps we could hang out at the river bank for a swim? Myself and Harada-san spend a lot of time there, and it's easy to reach." Even so, that didn't feel really special. She took a few seconds to come up with something else.

"Oh, oh!" She exclaimed, sitting up straight as she did. Sanae already looked all too enthusiastic with her plan. "Back in the day, Yayoi-san and I used to go camping out in the woods. Maybe we could all organize something to spend the night there? We know the least dangerous places, plus it'll be an adventure!"

"Sounds like a novel idea." Yuki complimented with a smile. He had never gone out camping in his life... Might as well!

“I definitely agree, Tachibana-san! This has already been a dramatically fantastic change to my day as well. I couldn’t be happier for it all either!” After what had happened with him, perhaps some time with friends really would be better for the poor Brit’s mental state. New friends especially. Sharing a meal was about the most familiar and relaxing experience that Bart liked to enjoy after all, so perhaps the next couple of hours was just what the doctor ordered! At least a doctor that prescribed social interactions over medications at the very least.

But then Yuki went and said the magic words. The exact series of phrases that made Bart’s already wide smile begin to brighten and grow even more than it already was. “How wonderful! I love a good home-cooked meal as well, actually it’s my more preferred way of having a meal if I’m being honest, but going out to eat is still rather good!” Bart said as he nodded excitedly. Hearing Yuki call them ‘cooking experiments’ was a rather humorous way to put it as well. The thought of being in the kitchen in a doctor’s coat and goggles while carefully measuring the ingredients in beakers like he had seen on the television… Well he couldn’t help but chuckle brightly to himself. He really had stumbled onto a group of wonderful people, hadn’t he?

The initial suggestion of swimming in the river chilled his excitement just bit however. The thought of being out in the open surrounded by people with his shirt off was… not exactly an enticing proposition. Surely he could have kept his shirt on, but perhaps that would have even brought even more attention to him and his uneasiness. Maybe I could just stay on the shore and cook for everyone instead! That would keep me out of the water-

And then Sanae suggested camping. Now that was something that he could get behind! “Oh, that’s great as well Miyamoto-san! I haven’t been camping in years. This would actually be a pretty good time for me to brush up on my skills, not to mention have a good bit of fun with everyone else around a campfire and everything!” The young man’s expression just kept getting more and more excited the longer their conversation went on, and for a brief moment he even forgot to feel a bit despondent over his current affairs.

"'Cooking experiments'?" Hideki looked at Yuki curiously as he mentioned that. What sort of 'experiments' would he be doing? And more importantly, how would Bart react to that statement, considering he loves cooking? At the very least, he merely acknowledged that homemade foods are good, instead of bursting out with ideas about what kind of foods they can make. As delicious as it sound, it might branch out from the topic, and he was beginning to get curious about where the talk was going.

When Sanae suggested the river bank to swim, Hideki blinked at her. "O-Oh, aah, that sounds pretty neat! As long as we have enough space for many people, hehe." He said, rather nervously than enthusiastically. He was aware of which place she was thinking, as he remembered when he met her, but the size was not the thing that worried him, it was the fact that he had little to no experience swimming. It was one ready why he prefered a beach, because at least he could stay at a safe depth.

However, she had a different idea, one which he liked more. "Oh man, me neither, it's been a while I camped as well. It sounds like a neat idea!" He said, this time feeling more at ease. Spending a day with nature was definitely something he felt more comfortable with, and from the looks of it, Yuki and Bart also enjoyed the idea.

Innocent as the pair were, both Sanae and Yuki were overly ecstatic about raising Bart's spirits - at least, he looked positively excited. The boy smiled widely at him while Sanae spoke up. "That makes two of us, Mason-san."

It seemed that the idea of camping hit off really well with all involved. Sanae grinned in pure satisfaction, amped up to organize and participate in such an event. "I suppose a big setback would be equipment in general, but--"

"--Don't worry about it, Sanae-chan. I'll handle anything that's missing in the end."

Sanae knew Yuki was of a rich background, and didn't feel all too comfortable mooching off of him; however, she did have all the equipment available if sharing with Yayoi. Therefore, she wouldn't be the one to mooch off of him - and it wasn't her place to stop others from doing it if they so desired, even more so if this boy offered it himself. "In that case... The problem becomes 'who to invite'." Each had their group of friends, invariably; making the outing too big could be hazardous.

"We'll certainly have to exchange recipes sometime then" Bart said cheerily. A true exchanging of such things was always a good time in his book, even if his book already had pages upon pages of good times in it as well. The best part was now that they had all decided on wanting to camp out, the next part was the even more fun step of getting everything planned and sorted out!

"The good thing about getting equipment is that you can get most of it in nature itself! It might have been a while since I've had to do it last, but I'm pretty sure I still know how to set up a makeshift tent with some limbs and branches! Not to mention starting a fire with some flint and tinder-" However as Bart was listing ways that he had to learn unwillingly, Yuki spoke up seemingly talking as if he was already planning on helping cover some of it himself. How incredibly friendly of him!

"I suppose an open invitation would be a bit too much to start, wouldn't it?" Bart joked. While 'the more the merrier' was very true in his own life, it would definitely be quite the undertaking to have too many people attending their little camp-out at once. Maybe one or two of their closest friends? Not that it would make it any easier on Bart if that was the qualifier... Well I know Akemi-chan would be who'd I'd invite first for sure, but who to pick afterwards... "Ideally we'd want enough just so it wouldn't be a crowd but also plenty of people to have a good time, hmm..."

"I also have some equipment I could bring!" It was true, even if it wasn't exactly plentiful. But given how camping wasn't something he hasn't done recently with his family, he was sure they weren't going to miss the tent for a bit.

But then the issue came to who they should invite. Given the kind of people Sanae, Yuki and Bart were, he was sure they were probably going to invite lots of people, all while he'd just come with a handful of people. after all, who can he even invite? Trent? What was he even doing nowadays? "Mmmh, how about we establish some sort of limit, of how many people each of us can bring? It might overlap if we invite the same person, but it could help up organize better."
