Wagoo

The hour was late, and Ren was just falling asleep.

He had been at school when Ryou had sent the URL. Ren and Aesop, both eager to see the site for different reasons, spent their lunch in a hidden corner on the phone, browsing it.

Bedlam, it turned out, was all too real. It disturbed Ren to no end, leaving him questioning what happened to him and why.

All this... are people just going to keep getting thrown in there forever?

If you genuinely believe there was something herein that consistently causes superpowers or gruesome murders, nobody would have settled here.

Yeah, but that facility wasn't always there. It's at least been there since the 80s.

Then if you want answers, you'd best ask them questions. Take care that this arcane magic isn't traceable. It never ends well when it does.

Don't worry, I'm not sending anything out, I don't want a 'scanner' finding me by looking around here, the apartment, or elsewhere. Hmm....

Ren eventually settled for sneaking out to a 24-hour internet café. Waiting for his parents to fall asleep, he quietly walked out with the spare key. Soon enough, he had a juice in hand, and logged into his dummy Bedlam account. Gmail wouldn't be able to trace back to him (he had never used it before signing up on the school's IP address), and if people checked the IP of the post, they would find an inner city café. There were plenty spread all around, and Ren obliged Aesop when he asked if the two could view a listing of places they could post. If he had enough Yen for the bus and managed to send a few out in the lobbies of other buildings, they'd be thrown off the trail.

He grabbed a random jumble of symbols that he didn't know the meaning to, and then pasted from a USB stick what he had been planning to write for his first message to the Persona user community.

Good morning Mumbai!

More often than not, we learn that the mysteries of New Delhi tend to mess with our heads. The representatives tend to show up, and leave quite an impression as they settle in with us, and the place we meet them smells way too monstrous, and leaves people unconscious. But are they making it worse, or better?

So here I am, asking a survey about the accursed representatives. How often do people fall unconscious to the smell?

Have the representatives generally needed to be controlled, or not? How often does what lies under the representative cause trouble?

If there is someone available to discuss such matters, who would deserve the nomination?

The answers I received were varied. We have them for you below:

Ren hit enter, sighing as he took a gulp of his juice. He'd gone with sounding like a crazy Indian news reporter to help confuse people and discourage looking into it. (Aesop also mentioned that it was likely they were used to weird posts anyways, if the serial killer warning was anything to go by.) He hoped that the three questions he asked about the 'Ruins', Personae (and now Shadows, which Ren was not looking forward to), and an expert that could give him more details on what he had been dragged into by the being known as 'Philemon' (Aesop had all but stated there was no way the culprit was a butterfly).

He waited two days before sneaking out again, going to a café in the Quad to go over the replies. He took screenshots of them with his phone, and headed back immediately.

He still kept going over the replies, even though he was back again none the wiser, questioning why he was sneaking out at night to do this.

Perhaps it's a part of you, was all Aesop said on the matter.

Ren didn't answer, he had things to read.

I'm going to assume this is elaborate code and not just another spambot (I mean, if it is, then fuck, Rio, fix your goddamn forum coding already, christ). If it is code, then dude, the fuck are you talking in code for? We're all Persona users here, you can be public about it. No one's gonna go blow up your house or anything.

To answer what I think you're asking: People get dragged in fairly often. Not like a ton every day, but often enough that we need to patrol on the top floors and keep an eye out for newbies. Personas are weird and varied in how they act, and everyone's different. They're a part of your brain, after all.

As far as experts go, you can generally ask whoever the hell you want on here; we're all in the same boat. Our self-professed "experts" are MythosObserver and Teatime, though.
