"G-Geez..." At the very least, he wouldn't have to wrestle Noriko for the notepad just to write down Trent's order. In any case, he still wrote down the order as Noriko reminded him that Trent needed to be measured. "R-Right!" He said, as he grabbed a measurement tape, and went around the front desk to measure Trent.

Now, this wasn't going to be a full body check. Since he simply wanted blades to use, Hideki needed to measure the length of his arms and forearms. Trent could protest about him suddenly getting too close to his arms, but at the moment Hideki was more afraid of Noriko's judging glare than Trent's. Extending the tape in each of his arms, Hideki then went ahead and wrote down the info he got from the tape.

"Do you want something specific in your order? Color, shape, inscription?"

"...ngh..."

Right. He needed to be measured. He wasn't quite expecting that part of the deal to exist. He seemed to become slightly stiffer as Hideki approached him, reticent to raise his arms to the sides.

Making sure his sleeves didn't slide up at all.

"...I don't know, make them black, I guess." He wasn't thinking too clearly, and it was obvious he wanted that entire interaction to end soon.

Well, well, well... Looks like Hideki really did manage to get work done when he wanted to. Maybe I should call in this guy more often. She mused as she watched Hideki timidly measure Trent, but then he... Seemed to finally get just as uncomfortable as Hideki was. Just what in the world was going on with these two? You know what, this isn't even my problem. All I have to do is make it, and take his money. Tachibana can deal with afterwards. "Simple trench knives, made black. Shouldn't be too much." Even if Noriko's 'not too much' was slightly different than anyone else's.

Noriko walked over to the two and took the measuring tape from Hideki. There was something nibbling at the back of her mind, however. Tachibana knew this guy, and he knew him as well. Now even if this was just a case of him being the bumbling nuisance that the was most of the time, she still had at least one more question for her recent client.

"So what are these going to be for?"

As soon as Trent made the order, Hideki wrote the detail Trent gave him. 'Black'? Did he want the blade black? Was that even possible? Or maybe he wanted sheaths black? He remained in doubt, even as Noriko repeated the order to him to make sure everything was in order.

And now that she had the measuring tape, Hideki merely looked at Trent, wondering if he was going to ask something else. If he decides to show the pictures to Noriko right there, he might chuck the notepad at him.

"..."

He didn't quite know how to tackle the question he'd just been asked.

"...you advertised your services on Bedlam, didn't you?" With his measurements taken, he finally lowered his arms. "You should know what they are for, then."

There was no real other way of communicating the idea, and he didn't want to mention Shadows, Personae or the Ruins out loud.

"...Ah" That was all that needed to be said for Noriko to understand what Trent was here for. "So you're going to need them battle-ready. Not a problem. Best thing for them, anyway; Here I thought you were going to let them waste away hung up on some wall or something." That was always a bit of a stab to her blacksmith's heart to know that the things that she had invested time and sweat into would just end up being nothing more than a glorified wall decoration. Not nearly as bad as being used for... cosplay though. A small shiver went through Noriko at the very thought.

"We'll take care of your order. I'll have Tachibana take your number down and we'll contact you once it's done. Then you can swing by here and pick it up. In the even that you can't, I can deliver it for a bit extra. Don't make me deliver it." Noriko gave Trent a curt nod and turned to begin walking back towards the Forge. "Tachibana," she then turned her head to look at her 'co-worker' "When you've got that, meet be back at the forge. You're assisting with this one." With that, the older woman retreated back to her safe haven of fire and metal. There was lots of work to be done, and no time to waste.

Was he going to ditch the pipe? Hideki never thought Trent would change weapons, he sort of had the idea that he'd just look for a stronger stick to smash Shadows with. But at least dual knives would be more deadlier, considering that not all Shadows would break their bones, but they all still bled.

In any case, once Noriko finished her speech and returned to the forge, Hideki merely nodded at her as she stated how he was gonna help in this order. But now, he needed to tend to Trent, and send him on his way. But first, since she was out of the picture, he looked at Trent and said "Please don't post those pictures on Bedlam." before grabbing a pen. "Okay uh, tell me your phone number."

Nonchalantly enough, the pale young man gave Hideki his phone number.

Once that was done, he turned around. The order was already placed and he could only assume he'd have to pay for it once it was done and delivered.

"Also." He turned his head back to speak to Hideki. "I am absolutely fucking posting these on Bedlam."

Without much further ado, he left, probably leaving Hideki to despair.

While Hideki was suffering along with Trent’s potential blackmail, Noriko was already back in the forge preparing to have the new customer’s order started on. It being a Persona User’s commission took a bit of precedence over any of the other orders on her list now. If they were going to stand a chance at getting whatever was going on at the ruins taken care of, they’d need the tools for the job. While she didn’t have Trent’s exact measurements at the moment, she could still get everything that they’d need to make out and ready.

A couple rods of steel, her hammer, pair of tongs; all that plus hitting the bellows to fan the flames to the desired heat. “C’mon Tachibana! We don’t have all day” she yelled towards the front desk. Whatever their history was, and they certainly seemed to have a history between them, it was something that Hideki was going to have a hand in helping. He was personally involved with the customer, so now he was going to be involved with the creation as well. Besides, they had to make two knives now. Having an extra hand would help keep them on time.

“Don’t get too many trench knives, though. Oddly specific request. As long as he’s got the money though, that’s all that matters. “ Noriko crossed her arms and waited for Hideki to enter, because there wasn’t too much she could do without the numbers. There was no half-assing around in her forge.

Once he wrote down the number, Hideki took the order from the notepad in order to prepare it for display. But as he was about to get up from the chair, Trent spoke up, and mentioned how he was going to post the pictures on Bedlam.

"W-W-What??" He said, and tried in vain to say something to convince him to not do it, but all his words came out as half worded gibberish and confusing noises, all while he looked very worried about the event. Without being able to say something, he watched how Trent opened the door, and disappeared into the outside.

Hideki merely remained frozen, looking at the order with a concerned look. Now Trent was going to post those pictures and everyone was gonna laugh at him. The mere thought made his arms shiver a bit, as it momentarely reminded him when he was younger, and was the laughing stock in his school.

But such a memory would soon stop, since Noriko would call him forth. Turning around, Hideki left the front desk and walked towards the forge area, where she was waiting him to start the order. The first thing Noriko would notice is that he was looking down as he made his way in, and that his face looked like one of a kid that was about to cry, despite his eyes being completely dry.

"Yeah... What do you need me to do?" He said, trying to hide his emotions by lifting his head back up again. The attempt would fail, as Hideki was bad at hiding his emotions.
