The more Asuka tried to justify her reasons for wanting to find out more about Gwyn, the more it sounded to Hideki that this was some sort of vendetta. She was a class rep, and yet she was letting herself be driven by vengeance like that? It made him wonder briefly if she was really the most appropiate person for such a position. Or it could just be this thoughts being influenced by his emotions. "Well, what she does shouldn't be your business! Can't you just let this g-" He tried to reply, before Sanae suddenly interrupted them. Hideki turned to her and, sure enough, she was visually upset over the discussion, as she commented that they should just quit it. It was this brief moment of pause which made Hideki realize that he was his face was beginning to warm up, caused by the exasperation he felt by talking to Asuka. It caused his face to from bothered to regretful, over how heated things turned for the three. Asuka merely did a frustrated sound, as he turned to her, then to Sanae, then to his twiddling thumbs. "... Uh." He began, trying to clear the tension between him and the class rep. "I'm, er, sorry about it. I know you are frustrated with Gwyn-san, but have you considered just, talking to her?" |

Sanae sighed out in visible relief as Asuka gave up on her argument (albeit not admitting it openly, scowling like some petulant child) and Hideki backpedalled as well. "Thank you..." She said in a bit of a low tone as she closed her eyes, bowing her head ever so slightly to the two in appreciation. The last thing they needed was a fight during such a beautiful afternoon. It was supposed to be relaxing! It was stressing enough that she had to buy a new fishing line and hook as it was. Asuka kicked a small rock away to the side with her right foot, and it raced across the grass, away from the group. She didn't seem at all content with Hideki, Gwyn, or any portion of that situation. In fact, it seemed that she was holding herself back from something. "And tell her what, to back off my business? I've done that. See how it turned out?" At least she had deduced the little girl was a Persona user already. There was no way she could've caught up how she did without some sort of aid of that nature. Perhaps it was wind based? Gravity? Or physical? "She comes off as the type to shove herself into other people's businesses regardless of how they feel about it. I'm giving her a taste of her own medicine. Is that so wrong?" "...Very..." |

Well, at the very least Sanae was grateful that they stopped, which was good in it's own right, given how it'd probably be a disaster if she were to join the discussion, whether she sides with someone or not. However, Asuka was still rather pevved with the event, as shown by her kicking a rock away, looking rather disgrunted. And then, she answered his question, still not wanting to have a civil conversation with her. "Well, perhaps that was because there were more pressing matters, like you not going to your class. Maybe she couldn't spare the time because she was more focused on that." He said, posing that that might have been Gwyn's reason of wanting to not listen to reason. "After all, she's very headstrong when she has a goal, that I'll give you. Maybe if you two talked it out in less, urgent moment, she would be more comprehensive." Of course, when Asuka asked vendetta was really unjustified, he didn't answer. Instead, his eyes turned to Sanae, in a way communicating that, in his mind, she practically answere her own question. |

"Whether I go to class or not is my business, not hers." Back to square one, they were. "But that's changed now, for my own reasons." She tapped her armband, indicating her to be a class representative. Besides, if all went well, she just might run for the Student Council the following year. It'd be the only way to actually bring about change. Plus, it'd look fantastic on a CV and potential college applications. Sanae sighed silently. She could see where it was going - Asuka was getting fired up again. It was time to step in for the second time in under a minute. "Whatever this discussion is, I don't think it matters now. You can't do a thing about it until tomorrow, right?" Asuka raised her eyebrow at this, but didn't seem to retaliate. "We came here to enjoy ourselves, and this animosity won't help us in such a thing. Let's relax, shall we?" |

Oh yeah, the armband. On second thought, it was rather odd how he met her trying to skip class by remaining at the rooftop, and now, she's a class representative. He eyed the armband with a look of confusion, as he didn't understand what changed her behavior. Perhaps it was a way to exert authority over Gwyn should she try to catch her? "Huh... I never thought you'd wear one of those, to be honest?" Could he be blamed? The first impression he got of her was that she was a rebel. But before anything else could come up from that, Sanae spoke up again. Her words were met with a confused blinking coming from him, but then he looked more relaxed when she tried to she suggested everyone to relax. "Yeah... Lets. I still need to finish this." He said, his last words being said to himself, as he looked at this homework on his lap. It was already hard on it's own, doing it in a tense atmosphere was just going to make it even worse to endure. [End Tag] |
