Momo shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah, not surprised. It's a little bistro on the corner of Matechi. Stop by some time! I'll try and treat you to something. Although, don't know if the boss will actually let me do that yet. I'll have to soften him up some." She glanced over at Reiko, taking in her appearance again, and smiled. "Aha, I'll try and make sure the new menu's somewhat healthy. Although, we cater to a lot of students, and I imagine a lot of them would like something a little, uh, richer." Reiko offered to help Momo get her stuff inside, and after a moment's hesitation, she nodded, grinning again. "Yeah, that'd be awesome. Just gimme a sec here..." At some point, they'd arrived in front of the apartment. Momo put half the bags down and fumbled around her pocket, eventually pulling out her key and unlocking the door. "There we go!" The door unlocked, and Momo poked the door open with her foot as she picked the bags up again. "Go ahead and come in," she said, elbowing the light switch. "Just go ahead and leave the bags in the main room, I have to organize the clothes later anyway." Momo's apartment, structurally, would seem similar to Reiko's - a kitchen, a living room, and a small hallway leading to a bedroom and bathroom. The walls were a little bare, and there weren't any embellishments yet to the small amount of furniture the apartment had come with. |

WHERE THE FUCK IS MARIO

"Mm. Maybe I will, especially if you're going to give me a good offer like that. I'll put the word out for you as well." The Peach Grill wasn't a location she knew particularly well, but at the same time she didn't feel right not helping the girl out. Thanks to ticket sales for her amateur fights and general other events, Reiko was fairly well connected to the community at large. You had to be to sell a decent amount of tickets. The boxer carried the bags in and put the bags in the main room. Their apartments were structurally similar, but Reiko's had a punching bag hanging up in her bedroom, chained to the ceiling. That was the largest difference as in her opinion that was all she wanted and needed. Somewhere to sleep and somewhere to train. Originally she had stayed with her trainer, but he had recieved a lot of negative attention implying that Reiko was doing things to get cheaper lessons. Jealous people really liked to ruin things for others. "So uh..." Reiko was standing sort of awkwardly, obviously not content just leaving but at the same time she didn't feel right staying. Such a complex creature. |

Momo couldn't help but laugh, chuckling slightly, at Reiko's indecision. It was kind of charming, in an awkward way. Momo took the initiative, hoping to make Reiko feel a bit more comfortable. "Thanks for the help, again. It would have been hell trying to get all this stuff up here myself." She gave a dazzling smile. "If you want, you're more than welcome to stay for lunch, but I understand if you're not comfortable with that." |

Indecision was one thing. Reiko was very to the point, punch left, punch right, uppercut. But when it came to things like this, she liked to hover, never liked to give an answer until it was important. Giving a small blush she scratched her neck. "That sounds great, actually. I haven't eaten since breakfast." And by eaten, some form of egg and protein shake was consumed. The girl noticeably relaxed, her muscles untensing and her stance relaxing. "Nah, I'm fine. I mean, I'm right next door. What you thinking of doing for lunch?" She asked, looking for a topic. Reiko liked to punch people, not talk to them. She was never good at small talk, only good at punching. It was always kind of adorable how gentle she became when words were involved. |

"Um." Momo actually had no idea. She was honestly just going to eat leftovers before she knew that she was going to have a guest over, but now there was no way she could just serve reheated fricassee. She had to make something - classy, but healthy, something that would appeal to an athlete but would also leave a good impression on her neighbor. She couldn't go too overboard, though; she didn't want to make something incredibly intricate and make Reiko feel uncomfortable about it, but it still had to be bold! But simple? Momo brought a hand up to her face, frowning, looking deep in thought. A few seconds, long ones, passed before it occurred to Momo that she could literally just ask the person she was cooking for. She blinked, then looked at Reiko and asked, "Hmm, well, what's your favorite food? I didn't have any particular plans, so I could go for anything, really." |

Reiko paused for a moment. Shit. It had backfired, now info was something she had to give. A few moments passed as Reiko began to speak. "Well uh... I like uh..." She looked away, smiling uneasily. "Its not really a question I've thought about if I'm honest." The boxer bounced on her feet slightly. "I'm on a diet, so I haven't been able to eat much else than chicken and brocolli." Tapping her sides the girl gave a more relaxed smile. "Ah what the hell. Just once right? My favorite food is pork. I like it really tender with salt. I used to eat it a lot with my grandfather." She stretched, taking off her coat, showing off her tattooed arm. "That a good enough choice? I mean... you're the chef, you know what you're doing." Taking her coat she put it around her waist for the moment. |

Within seconds, all the ingredients were out on the table and Momo was immediately chopping away at something, the pan heating up on the stove, oil already starting to smoke. "Yeah, yeah, that sounds good," Momo said, smiling. "I had all the stuff in my fridge already, so I should be able to come up with something." As she worked, she couldn't help but glance up, noticing Reiko's tatoo. "Oh, hey, cool ink," she said. "When'd you get it?" |
