WHERE THE FUCK IS MARIO
Name: Treo Ashdown
Gender: Male
Height: 6'5
Age: 17

Class: Rokujima University, Majoring in Criminology

Clubs: N/A

Personality:

Treo is a loner, first and foremost. He claims to be that of a master manipulator and able to see how his words affect people and claiming that he can read people well enough to be able to differ his next answer. That is a lie and one of the first lies the wild card continued to tell himself. Treo's ability to socially interact stems from his ability to mold himself to any situation. He takes words and phrases spoken to him and rearranges them to form questions, answers, to pretend to show more than he actually knows. A talent he cultivated from his upbringing.

The boy does not believe in good or evil. Good and evil are concepts founded from storytelling. There always has to be a villain and he always has to be triumphed. No matter what. Life is much the same, but the villains in life are often painted to be heroes. His worldview is skewed to thinking that there is no good without evil. Evil intentions are sometimes done for good reasons, after all.

Treo believes that people who abandon their justice, their way of life are people that have just given up and taken the easy way out. He may try to help someone rediscover their justice, provided they want to, Treo doesn't like a quitter and refuses to help anyone that does. The boy will use everything in his power to make sure that no-one falls to corruption, just like his mother and father did.

Treo has a strong belief that those that abandon their way of life, or even their own dreams have taken what life would term as 'the low road'. Following his ascension, his usual tones of attempted manipulation have given way to more of a harsh criticism. What upsets him more than anything else is seeing someone waste their potential and by painting himself as a target, he gives these people something to aim for, which usually means he is seen as kind of an asshole.

Treo's not all that remarkable below his surface. He is simply a fish out of water, never really connecting to anyone strongly. Underneath the many masks he places on himself, he is simply the same person he was before. A child with the desire to do the right thing, the right thing being neither tethered to good or evil. Despite the fact he is well trained with a firearm and knife skills, the teen does not like to kill if he has to. Death is an abrupt end, you take away everything someone is and what someone will be in an instant.

Overall, Treo's personality manifests as a Wild Card because of a few key reasons. He is not so much a blank slate as a mirror. Many of his own tics and mannerisms are lifted from others, either subconciously or conciously to present a different image. He never acts the same to two different people. Rather than having the ability to say what needs to be said, Treo simply acts the way he thinks people want him to act. He is not a manipulator so much as his entire personality works on instinct.

At the same time, Treo's own personality is somewhat muted, coming through in brief emotional cracks, occasional sentences. His own likes and dislikes differ depending on the person, but due to his limited social interaction growing up, its not so much what he does with other people its more related to the time he shares with other people. At that point, you could say his real likes and dislikes are being around people and not being around people. Alone he suffers, but at the same time he forces himself to be alone often.

His entire personality he had built up before was based on how he thought he would see himself in the future, becoming a 'judge' to punish the wicked. Following his growth and ascension, Treo yearns to find the end. To solve the puzzle so that everyone can go back to their own lives. His own life was something he didn't think about too hard, as he was initially expecting to die in the aftermath of the ruins, dying for something he believed in didn't seem so bad. But recent events have left him conflicted, initially he thought his death wouldn't affect anyone, but after making a promise, the bonds that connect him become even more apparent.

History:

Treo Ashdown, born under a different name before he chose to take the monkier of Treo was born to two hardworking civil servants. His mother Sarah had come from a long line of prosecutors and was the first to become a judge. His father Andy was a lawyer, leading a very successsful company and married Sarah after the two clashed over a murder case, finding the right criminal despite going against the prosecution's desire to see a guilty verdict. After that case they were married and Treo was born only two years into their marriage. Sarah and Andy worked long hours, often collaborating on cases, leaving the boy to spend a lot of time alone, save for an au pair the family had hired, who made sure he ate and slept at least.

Treo's parents had been working a high profile case and it was the first case the two had been allowed to collaborate on inside the courtroom. One of the most known criminals on the West End had slipped up and was being taken to Crown Court to be tried for one crime, with the hope of finding more evidence to build a larger case against him. Thomas Dowry, being part of a crime family for a long time attempted to bribe them. Sarah and Andy both refused, but they weren't the only players in the game.

The two had been betrayed by their own kind. Thomas proved that if someone wouldn't take the money, someone else would. They were both painted as criminals, charged for faking evidence, a photo of Thomas leaving a club was doctored to fit the time of the crime, allegedly. The evidence shattered their careers. Sarah and Andy were branded liars, criminals no better than those they had originally began to round up. The two were hounded by press and Treo didn't see his mother and father again.

After he had began to grow up, his parents had been released. After the sentence they had both faced they were ready to tell all in a book they were penning together. Soon before the book had been released, Thomas stepped in and orchestrated a car crash, killing the both of them, at least that was what Treo initially thought. Without his family, the teen found himself growing more and more isolated. School was nothing more than an exercise and due to his solitary nature, he found himself excelling at studies. The human mind fascinated him and he began to look more into psychology, until he finished with school and without any sort of direction forward, he found himself aimlessly wandering.

Finally, someone stepped in. Mike Roschel. A friend of his father's who had found big fortune in Japan, initially starting outside Tokyo before moving to another prefecture. He offered to take him to Japan. The teen began to learn Japanese, having taken it as a class at his school which strengthened his chances of learning it until he was confidently fluent and travelled with him to Japan. In Japan he worked part time for Mike as a clerk, mind numbing work, but it paid enough so he could survive.

Mike's cases began to go sour. Evidence would go missing, money would go missing, his own employees had been tricked and bribed to hamstring his cases. A mix of xenophobia and corruption claimed his business and finally as Treo was leaving for the night, he found Mike contemplating suicide, standing on a chair. His entire livelyhood had collapsed around him and he had no idea what to do next. The teen wanted to help him get over it and continued to talk to him but in the end Mike screamed at him, blamed his entire failure on him.

Mike told him to leave and never come back. Fear overtook logic and Treo ran, finding himself without work for a few weeks before taking all he earned and travelling to Nagashima, hoping to get away from Mike. The last he heard was Mike hung himself and was found dead in the papers. The teen put it out of his mind, but regrets he could not save him. It was a shocking blow to his pride. His mastery of the human mind, able to manipulate people through suggestion, it was all lies.

While he was in Nagashima, he had ran into his uncle. His father's brother had moved to Japan following the boom in electronics and lived comfortably as an executive. His uncle allowed him to stay in the apartment he wasn't using at a lower cost of rent. He didn't know about his brother and his wife's own death and Treo didn't feel like telling him. He studied up and entered Taiyoutono, to finish his last year of schooling and find something to do with his life.

That answer came quickly as during a normal day at school he ran into Kaede Susaki, being his usual smug self, Treo chased after the butterfly that appeared after Kaede ran and that was when he found himself in the ruins. The Mysterious Ruins had been where he first gained his Persona, finding himself gifted with the power of the Fool. Number 0 in the Arcana and the beginning of the journey. Once he was freed from the ordeal he came home and began researching the Tarot and Personae as a whole. Coming up short on the latter and learning a lot about the former.

This continued until he was invited to a meeting and allied with what people would call the 'bad' team. Evil and good were simply concepts that differed due to perception, is what the boy would say. He didn't spend long in the corner of Sora Mori, as he was attempting to betray him at almost every furlong. When the groups broke up, Treo met with a strange shadow woman known as Miss Gold and she expressed interest in working with Kaede's ensemble, which meant he had to repair a few broken bridges.

Following that, the groups struggled to learn more for a long time. Eventually when the kidnappings were going on and the culprit behind the Park Incident was found, the teen offered to preside over the trial, seeing it as a chance to do right by his family, just this once.

Said trial never actually happened and Treo began to work alongside Manabu Kearnuma, Rio Matsuhita and Kumori Yatsu as an impromptu detective service known as the Glass Eye. It was around this time that Aleksandria Fyodor returned under a disguse, stealing the park incident file and throwing Treo into the ruins under the guise of a far less successful 'villain'. With the file gone it was clear to who had done it but Treo's involvement in that tale was over.

He gained Hoculus and began to confront his shadow before finally proving to himself what he believed he was. He ascended into a Persona of his own creation, themed after the perfection of his inner self. This was of course a lie. The teen's thoughts were to force an ascension but to essentially learn nothing. It worked, but the shadow returned, mocking and tormenting him further until he confronted it with his truth. The truth of others who shared the unique code of the Wild Card, their combined truth. This was when he ascended to Thanatos.

Treo has since been strengthening his bonds, finding himself unable to truly form unbreakable bonds. Perhaps it was due to his inclined nature to not be able to trust anyone. The teen had been so long alone that when people reached out he only grabbed by the fingers. To make an unbreakable bond there had to be completely mutual trust, something he was incapable of. Following a rather scathing reply to those new to the community Treo is spearheading new exploration, his intent to show that he is a veteran in the community for more than just his time.

Following a meeting with a would be friend, Treo made a promise that when it was all said and done, getting together wouldn't be a bad idea. This promise has twisted his own emotions, feeling things he didn't think he could and thinking ideas he never thought he would. The emotions boil under the surface, while his life continues to change, heading towards University for his first step towards the future.

By the way...

Appearance:

The first thing you can notice about the teen is that he's tall. Standing at 6'5 he towers over most people in the school and university. Originally his build was quite slim but over time he has bulked up a little, following fighting and exploration and training. Nothing outwardly apparent but his muscles aren't as soft and he sports a faint set of abs. He has white hair, a genetic quirk from his mother's side of the family and something he was teased for and his eyes are a deep green, akin to the bottom of an ocean.

He tends to wear clothes that play up his detective, or 'gentleman' persona. He is rarely seen without a fedora (A real one not a trilby > [) or some form of buttoned up shirt finished off with a jacket or waistcoat of some kind. He doesn't vary his style all that much, wearing those clothes to most events, save for ruins exploration, which he wears a thicker brown army jacket and jeans. He typically has a holster on his shoulder when exploring or doing detective work, his gun licensed.

Weapon: Treo's fighting style is somewhat inspired by army knife training, due to practicing since he first went to the ruins, he is somewhat adept with a blade and is also a novice with a sword, having to use one during his armor form. Finally he has a pistol which is is somewhat proficient with, having practiced aiming and firing with airsoft guns in England and moving onto pistols.

Mask: A solid white mask that covers his face to behind his ears. The smooth white has a 0 on the top of the mask, which changes to another numeral depending entirely on what Persona he has equipped. Sometimes the mask itself changes too. This is likely due to the Persona having a stronger connection.

Treo's Compendium

Did you read the other sticky in this forum? Look how old this sheet was guys. There was only ONE STICKY BACK IN MY DAY.

But yes I have always and forever read the stickies.

I hope this is good enough. Treo's old form has been somewhat of a thorn in my side and with INTERESTING NEW DEVELOPMENTS happening in many aspects of his personality and life I was hoping this is still kosher.

[DIRECTORS CUT STILL INCLUDES AN RP SAMPLE]

Treo Ashdown was hitting a dilemma. The teen had hit walls before in his life and had been able to surmount them before, but this time.... this time it was different. He was looking down at a piece of paper which was an entry form. The first thing it required was his name. He kept staring at the name box and went to put the first letter in and paused once more.

This name would be on his Diploma when he graduated. Eventually this would all end and Treo would find himself on the other end of it all. What then? What did he do then? He put the pencil down and stared at the blank sheet. Should he? Would he? The teen shook his head, hearing a whisper of a voice behind him.

"Its pretty pathetic you're still using that name. I thought you were a changed man y'know? I thought we had moved past all this stuff. Why can't you just write it out? Here I'll spell it for you. T..."

The teen waved behind him and the voice devolved into laughter before getting quieter. "You're going to have to admit it to yourself when it all comes down to it, or are you content living a lie for the rest of your life?" The questions bothered him. Why now? Hadn't he conquered this stupid asshole ages ago? Ascended, found his true answers?

"Come on T. You know its not that easy. Every time you hide something from the light. It casts a shadow." The teen groaned. Even his shadow had a terrible taste in humor.

THE OLD FORM WAS FIVE FUCKING YEARS OLD
