WHERE THE FUCK IS MARIO
Name: Reiko Yamauchi
Gender: Female
Age: 19

Class: Rokujima Major, Economics.

Clubs/Occupation: Boxing Amateur/Warehouse Labourer.

Personality:

Reiko is very aggressive and won't hesitate to solve most of her problems with violence, but at the same time she has a more gentle side that doesn't manifest itself all too often. A woman who hid her heart at a very early age, Reiko has a history of being powerless and in that history, it was this feeling of powerlessness that led her to train as a boxer. She doesn't give up at the first hurdle and will bleed blood sweat and tears if it means she can prove her point, or fight for a cause she believes in. She can't do anything by half measures and doesn't do well when a situation requires a delicate touch, choosing to force her opinion on others with strength if need be.

Her lack of gentleness comes from her fear to speak from the heart, having put her emotions aside when her mentor had passed away, willing to be seen as a force of nature to help her career, Reiko ofren wonders if her in-ring aggressive style of hard counters and rapid assaults makes her seem a little too rabid, some go so far as to call her a monster in the ring, which leads her to cultivate the personality outside of the ring, making it harder and harder to speak so openly when everyone considers you an actual monster.

She is a very dominant person, taking control of situations and encounters relatively quickly, due to a fear of losing control. If Reiko isn't in control of a situation, or isn't in charge of her own destiny, she becomes scared. Her strength also manifests as arrogance, she knows she's strong and won't hesitate to prove it. Her femininity is somewhat of a weak point as boxing despite having a female bracket still carries the masculinity with it as a sport and many women are seen as 'crazed' for wanting to partake in a 'blood sport'. With a distaste for almost all things feminine, Reiko is firmly defined as what someone would call a tomboy. But her aggressive nature proves to push people away. She wants someone who can see through to the person inside her, not that she would ever admit it.

As someone who grew up mostly alone, save for the trips to her grandfather's, Reiko is incredibly lonely. Her strength and arrogance can sometimes lead to her being pushed away and that hurts more than any punch ever could. The fistfighter has a fear of loneliness and will do anything in her power to make sure she's not the only person in the room, failing that, she will always make sure there is a tv on, or a radio, something to break the crushing silence.

Despite her physical prowess, Reiko isn't a typical 'meathead' or someone who doesn't think before her actions. The girl does prefer to finish all her conflicts with violence, but she is not without thought. Her father, disapproving of her choice to become a physical fighter demanded she kept up with her schoolwork, which led to her study of economics, a door that led to the job her father held.

History: When Reiko was growing up, her mother and father were incredibly hands off. After the birth her mother returned to work after eight months of raising, leaving the rest of the time to be filled in by Takashi, her husband's father. Her father and mother were both high profile workers, each of them climbing the pile in two different organizations, leaving very little time for their daughter. Their hands off approach was initially not because of neglect, but reluctance to give up on their own dreams, the child was well cared for, but always lonely.

Reiko grew up coming home to an empty house after school. She would do her homework while listening to the TV in the background and cook her meals with the radio. The house was never quiet, purely because the girl wouldn't allow it to be. When she was around 12, she was looking through her father's things and found some old VHSs in a closet, unlabelled. Curiousity and boredom mixed together and she began to watch them. It was then she learned about her grandfather's previous job as a professional boxer.

Her grandfather would come to visit, annoyed with his son for leaving his daughter alone. In those times Reiko began to ask about the videotapes, which Takashi was surprised his son even bothered to keep. In this time he began to speak about his career. Initially starting out very lackluster, Takashi came back strong as Takashi 'The Iron Spear' Yamauchi. The 'Spear' was related to his long reach and powerful counterpunches, almost like was armed with a spear and shield. Reiko saw strength in boxing. It was a very black and white sport. There was no almost and there was no maybe. There was a win and a lose, a knock out and those who were knocked out.

Reiko was very proud of her grandfather and slowly became enamoured with the sport of boxing herself. She asked him to train her and he accepted. Her father found out and she was forced to balance training and school and the two of them meant her life became very hectic. She didn't have time to spend hanging out with friends, having to train and study. It isolated her at school, which only strengthened her fear of being alone. She had an argument with her grandfather, the training bearing down on her and it turned out to be the last thing she said to him. 'I can't do this anymore.' The following day Takashi never arrived.

Her grandfather passed away. Not from a freak accident, or a man assassinating him and running into the night, never to be found. Takashi had lived a long life of training and his body simply gave up. In one night he was simply asleep and never woke up. The moment shocked Reiko and without a figure in her life to hold onto, she turned her strength outwards, fighting on the streets. It was around halfway through the year that her fights caught the attention of a local trainer, who owned a gym on Matechi Street. His gym was fairly well used and he offered the girl direction.

With actual training after her grandfather had set the groundwork, the fistfighter excelled, increasing her skills in many ways. Halfway through the year she was offered to become a live-in student. Her father and mother resented her love of boxing and the ability to escape from the house and live somewhere who supported her was a dream. Taking the agreement she trained even harder, graduating from school around the same time she had achieved 20 amateur fights with a record of 12 wins and 8 losses. A respectable score, which made her ready for the Pro Test.

Her application for the Pro Test was delayed due to her family interfering. Boxing was her future? Making money fighting? It was a ridiculous idea. Absolutely ridiculous. She was clever, like her father and deserved a career in economics, so they thought. Fighting for cash made their daughter look like some kind of barbarian. She appeased her family by giving up some of her time to take a course in economics. It was enough to keep them happy. A part of her worried her father would push her towards economics and make her abandon her dream, but she was not going to.

Her course in Economics was a part time venture, the closest a student could get to looking disinterested as they carried out what could be called a 'life sentence'. It was mostly out of spite to her family. For being so distant and suddenly getting involved in her life was honestly a little laughable. The lessons were fine and Economics was something Reiko knew quite well, having cut her teeth with family economics during her time alone. It meant that the years would be longer, but also meant that she had plenty of time to continue training. If she could make it to the Pro Circuit and make the real money, then maybe they'd stop bothering her about education.

Appearance: Reiko is 5'8 and has black hair which falls to her shoulders, going against the trend of cutting her hair short to box. Training has shaped her body well, her arms well toned with a noticable amount of muscle, but still keeping herself lean, with a toned stomach and abs and strong legs. Her training has cultivated a body that would be classified as Bantamweight, leaning slightly into the higher weight class.

On the center of her forearm is a tattoo, the design of a simple clock face, hands pointing to 12 and 9. The exact time her grandfather's life was ended, if she had any reason to believe the information she was given by the hospital. Along the bottom was a simple epitaph, written in english to keep to the theme of the piece. 'Never Forget'. It stands as a testament to Reiko's long time mentor and a reminder to stay true to her dreams.

Training clothes are the backbone of what Reiko calls a fashion sense. Grey jumpers, black tracksuits, black vests, hand wrappings... they aren't the most glamourous, but they are functional above all else, which is what Reiko looks for in clothing. Her typical outfit consists of one of about five or six hooded jackets, ranging from black, grey, dark blue, white and red, with a t shirt or vest underneath, depending on the temperature or training reigmen. She always wears a sports bra, never anything else and always either wears shorts or tracksuit, depending on what she's doing. Reiko doesn't own a single dress and doesn't plan to start any time soon.

Weapon: Reiko fights with her bare hands.

Mask: A mask that is chained to her face around the back, the front is designed with a cracked skull design, shatterpoints working as eyeholes.

Persona:

~Name: Itzpapalotl

Itzpapalotl, or the Obsidian Butterfly was a fearsome skeletal warrior goddess who ruled over the paradise world of Tamoanchan, the paradise of victims of infant mortality and the place identified as where humans were created. Known as also the Clawed Butterfly, it is believed she was symbolized with birds or fire and was known to transform into a beautiful goddess or a skeletal monster.

Itzpapalotl has a skeletal deer skull over her face, the bottom of her mouth visible from beneath the skull. The skull itself leads into a deer pelt which drapes over her back like a cape while her arms are decorated with fire designs, leading into her hands, which have three large claws. Her chest is decorated with the design of a bird in yellow paint on a black torso which leads down into her eagle claw legs.

Itzpapaotl represents the fork in the path presented to Reiko in her life. Constantly fighting for a dream that makes her seem more masculine, but desperately trying not to seem impossible to approach. Itzpapaotl was known as either a beautiful goddess, or a skeletal monster, with positives and negatives to each appearance, both of which corrolate to Reiko's dominant personality and her desire to eventually fall in love with someone who can see her for what she truly is on the inside, a very scared girl who forced herself to stand on her own two feet.

~Arcana: Lovers

~Weak: Darkness, Light
~Null:
~Reflect:
~Resist: Physical, Fire
~Skills: Tarukaja, Agi, Bash

It looks good overall, but have a second glance at it when you're more bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
