"Unacceptable..." Nothing that irked Rika Ishikawa more than the blatant display of misbehavior right before her eyes. At the shopping mall, Rika saw a couple being affectionate to each other in public! In broad daylight, even! She could tell that the couple were high-schoolers, and her eyebrow twitched involuntarily as she looked at the couple shamelessly flirting with each other. "Totally unacceptable..." Normally, she would react to such a sight by telling the couple that their behavior while in public was improper and unacceptable. For her, it was not right for high-schoolers to act in such a way. Alas, she was unable to do so because, 1) it's currently school's break, 2) improper or not, they were not in the school and were not wearing uniform and 3) they were at the shopping mall. With heavy heart, Rika had no choice but to let them be. Rika brought her hand to her face as she sighed. She was still bitter by the fact that she was unable to run for the position of the Student Council President. She fell ill at that time and needed extensive treatment, forcing her to drop out of the election. Well, at the very least, she thought that the new Student Council President was fine, his unorthodox methods during his campaign notwithstanding. At least he's better than one particular student whom she deemed unworthy to become the president of the Student Council of Taiyoutono High School. Still, she'd rather not look the display of improper behavior right before her eyes, and she decided to walk away so that she would no longer see such obscenity. Above all else, she detests any kind of unacceptable and inappropriate behaviors among her peers, and she was labeled a hardass and a killjoy as a result. She knew that people talked behind her back, but she never cared about what people said about her, because she knew that she had taken a correct path of her life. Even so, her behavior kind of alienated her from other people, and she had to admit that being a stickler to the rules did not endear her to the others. She would not deny that she sometimes felt lonely because she almost had no one to confide to. Perhaps she should soften a little and try to partake in what most teenagers always do? Rika shook her head, banishing such ugly thought out of her mind. She would not debase herself to do such a thing! Never! "Perhaps I should calm my head for a little..." Rika muttered as she arrived in front of a bookstore. "Finding some interesting books may do the trick," she said, nodding to herself before she stepped into the bookstore. At the very least, she would not be seeing young people kissing each other openly in this kind of place. A perfect place for relaxation, she thought. Edited by Prince Arjuna, May 17 2016, 05:04 AM.

It was another day for Ayame to spend time with Izumi, and what better way to spend It...Then at Tanjiro! This time, however, they were planning to head to a bookstore Ayame wanted to show Izumi, however, the last time they tried to go to this bookstore It was close, but thankfully not today, the two girl's looked at the entrance of the bookstore. "Thank god...It's opened today." Ayame said cheerfully as Izumi looked at the store in amazement. "So this is the bookstore you wanted to show me? It look's great so far...Let's go In." Izumi said as she walked toward's the door to the store with Ayame following behind. However before the two girl's entered, they turned after noticing the two people In love, Izumi sighed in response to the kissing and flirting. "Love...Alway's an obstacle In life." She said bitterly as Ayame defended the couple. "Hey there just In love...I wonder If I'll be one day..." Ayame said thinking about her future...And whether to date someone later In life. "Up to you...But I must advise you Ayame, dating might ruin your life." Izumi said as the two finally entered the store. "You alway's got good advice," Ayame said sarcastically to her sister as they started to look around for some books, although Izumi was interested in the fiction section, Ayame was looking for the manga section, she saw It at the other side of the store and looked towards Izumi. "I'm going to the manga section, I'm going to see If the newest volume of Ayumi Ami Is out yet." She said as she headed towards the section, leaving Izumi alone. "Ok...Be careful, and don't come back with a basket filled with manga...I might just get one book today...But which one?" |

While Rika was browsing through the shelves, looking for any book that might catch her interest, she overheard a conversation between two girls. Rika is not the one to eavesdrop, but sometimes, she was simply curious. Rika was at the other side of the shelf, looking for books as she listened to their conversation. She nodded in agreement when she heard from one of the girls saying that dating might ruin your life. She had no experience in this sort of thing, but she knew that teenagers being in relationship can cause them to lose focus in things that really matter to them. And then, when the girls parted way, Rika continued searching for the books that caught her attention. When she found a book, she tried to pull it out of the stack. Unfortunately, a few books got pulled along with the book that she tried to take. "Eek!" She yelped in surprise when the books fell from the shelf. About four thick-covered books hit the floor. While it's not loud, the sound of the books hitting the floor caught the attentions of the other patrons of the shops. Now that many eyes were on her, Rika felt a little self-conscious, feeling embarrassed upon doing such a blunder. |

As Ayame started her search for the latest volume of Ayumi Ami In the manga section, she heard a few thing's, most likely books drop along with a girl screaming, causing her to turn around to the direction of the incident, she knew It wasn't Izumi since her voice was a bit deeper, but she wondered who It was? "What was that?" Ayame said as she was about to check out the noise...When she quickly saw something that caught her eye. "Oh, the new volume of Keroro Gunso Is here...With those new characters that are just a rehash of Keroro and Fuyuki," Ayame said bitterly as she looked at the latest volume, ignoring the noise that was just made. Fortunately, Izumi was near Rika and saw she was In trouble. "Oh, my." She said In shock as she walked toward's Rika and helped her by removing the four book's that piled on her. "Here...Let me help." Izumi said as she removed the books from Rika and placed them on the nearest shelf that had space for book's, after doing so she looked back at Rika to see If she was ok. "Are you ok...Those books didn't give you a concussion right?" |

Thankfully, one of the girls whose conversation she overheard earlier came to help, picking the fallen books and putting them back into their place in the shelf. The books did hit her, and they gave her quite a scare. Since the girl helped her and asked whether she's okay or not, it's only proper to express her gratitude to the girl. "I-it's alright, I'm unhurt," Rika said to the girl. She was still a little shaken by the previous event, and her tone sounded a little uncertain. She took a few seconds to compose herself before she looked at the other girl and expressed her gratitude. "Thank you for your help, miss..." She was the one who rarely smiled, but for this occasion, a small smile wouldn't hurt. "And I'm sorry for the trouble I caused," she apologized. She was still holding the book that she pulled out earlier. |

Izumi smiled when the girl said she was ok. "Wonderful, It would have been terrible If you got injured and by book's no less." She said to Rika as the girl thanked her for helping her, but she wanted to know Izumi's name, which she quickly said to her. "Fukui Izumi...And It's no problem miss..." She waited for Rika to say her name as the girl apologised for causing trouble In this bookstore, Izumi just spoke to her, smiling before she did so. "It's ok, you should see what my sister Ayame does...In fact, she's here with me, over at the manga section." Izumi pointed towards Ayame, who was unaware that Izumi was talking to someone as she continued to look for the Ayumi Ami volume. "But an accident Is an accident, you'll quickly get over It." |

"Rika Ishikawa," Rika introduced herself to the other girl. She wasn't the one to initiate conversation, but in this kind of situation, it is proper to introduce herself and be courteous. She might acknowledge the fact that she was quite a stickler to the rules and a little bit of a hardass, but she could be polite if necessary. "Oh? So she's your sister?" Rika asked as she glanced at the other girl. She smiled at Izumi, a small smile but a smile regardless and said, "Since both of you are here together, I imagine both of you are close to each other." She has three siblings, and she was close to all of them, the bad behavior of her younger brother notwithstanding. So, she could understand if Izumi and her sister were close. |

"Rika...Huh?" Izumi said curious, before nodding. "Well, It's a nice name Rika, nice to meet you," Izumi said to the girl offering her a hand shake before the girl asked If Ayame was her sister. "Yeah...She Is, kind of, she's about to start at Taiyoutono and already she has plans that she's going to do at the school...She already Is popular In Nagashima already." Izumi said before speaking again. "Oh...me and my family just moved here, well a few weeks ago that Is, however, I just live At the girl's dorm In Rokujima." She said to Rika before wondering If Rika herself moved to Nagashima as well. "What about you Rika...Did you move here or are you just a resident who grew up here?" She said, focusing on talking to the girl she had helped just now instead of trying to Find a book, she'll do that shortly after finishing talking to Rika. "Better yet, do you go to Rokujima?" |

Rika nodded several times as she listened to Izumi. She was a little irked when the other girl called her without a proper honorific, but that's a minor thing, so she let it slide for now. Any kind of displeasure she had about it, she did not show it on her face. "I see..." She mused as she glanced at Izumi's sister. "I also have a younger sibling. A brother, to be exact," she told Izumi. "He's also about to start at Taiyoutono this year." When she was asked whether she came from Nagashima or not, Rika answered, "I've been in Nagashima since I was born. My family's been living here for so long." Then, she shook her head when Izumi asked her about school she attends. "No, I go to Taiyoutono," she informed the other girl. "Do you go to Rokujima?" She returned the question to Izumi. |

Izumi listened to Rika and found out that she had a younger brother...Who will also be starting Taiyoutono this year with Ayame. "That's great Rika-san...That's ok If I call you that, maybe he and Ayame might be In the same class and maybe they might meet each other." Izumi said wondering what the boy was like and whether Ayame would like her or not, she also answered the question about her going to Rokujima. "Oh yeah, I live in the girls dorm at Rokujima, so, of course, I'm a student there...You're actually the second person I met In this town other than people related to me...I'm not that much social like Ayame since I just keep myself to the book's I read." Izumi said to Rika as she looked to see Ayame was coming. Sure enough, Ayame was heading toward's the two holding a manga, which wasn't Ayumi Ami, she sighed when she got to Izumi and Rika. "They didn't have Ayumi Ami...They do however have the newest volume of Gakkou Gurashi, I guess I should buy this to see what happened to Kurumi." She said as she quickly noticed Rika's presence. "Oh, hello friend of Izumi's...How long ago did you meet her Izumi-chan?" She said to her sister who quickly introduced Rika to Ayame. "Her name's Ishikawa Rika, and we just met." Izumi said to Ayame as she walked towards Rika to offer her a handshake. "Oh, In that case, It's nice to meet you Rika-san. Were you that girl who screamed earlier by any chance?"
