Yes… I’d sell the souls of all humanity to the devil if I thought it’d get us a happy ending.

"By all means Akemi-chan, show Hideo some love. I've already spoiled him rotten so it's not like you can do him any more harm" Aiko said slyly. "Let me just make it easier for you-" she added as she flipped the latches on the front of her bird's cage and opened it for all to see. Her parrot leaped to the threshold of its temporary prison and crooked his head around to get a better look at the new guests while Aiko beamed like the proud owner that she was. "Oh yeah, he totally watches movies with me all the time. Mom and dad can't really stand the stuff I watch, which just goes to show that they have no taste right? So I get my little feathered friend here to keep me a little bit of company. Worst part about it though? You forget to put the cover over his cage and most of the time he'll just shout quotes until the early hours of the morning. Kinda hard to sleep with a Predator growling in the same room as you, I've found out. But what kinda pet do you have Kaya-chan? Sounds like he's pretty chill if he can fall asleep to TV." Thank goodness I read about that 'blanket over the cage' thing pretty early. Little goober likes to stay up late if it wasn't for that. Aiko thought, bemused. Still, she also had Sandra's help with the coffee duties! "Awesome! Thanks Sandra-chan! I gotta be honest, I just take mine with a lot of cream and sugar most of the time, so maybe you can show us all some kind of hidden Colombian coffee secrets, right?" Aiko winked playfully to her dark-skinned friend as she strode over to her movie collection. (No not that one, the other one) "Okay, so first choice: I'm thinking something a little more light-hearted to kick it all off, right? Then we can hit the harder stuff late at night to keep us all up for as long as possible. How're we feeling about the first Nightmare on Elm Street, huh?" |

It was nice to see that Hideo was basking in all the attention that he deserved. Being all cute and feathery. She certainly didn't find it hard to grow attached to the parrot. Kaya's pet pig was pretty great, too. But come to think of it, when was there ever a time she didn't like someone's pet? The time wen she was six and got bitten by the neighbor's dog, maybe…? Though she more blamed the neighbors than the Shiba. "Oh, coffee? Yeah, anything's fine by me." At least her trip down memory lane hadn't completely disconnected her from what everyone else was saying. "Yeah, that sounds good! I don't think I've seen that in recent memory at least." Ah, not for a long time, huh? If she recalled the last time they met, they had a particular theme they were going to work on. But that felt like ages ago. She wasn't going to blame anyone if they had more important things to keep track of, after all. |

"Oh my god!" Akemi squeed in delight when she got a better look at Hideo, bringing a hand in front of her mouth in an almost exagerratedly girly manner. She chuckled when Aiko mentioned that the bird watched movies along with her. "And he's a movie lover too! Handsome and smart." she commented, outstretching two fingers to scratch the top of Hideo's head. And he liked quoting movies, too. Could this bird get any cuter? She didn't think so. Coffee at this time of the day didn't feel enticing to her. Still, she'd put her two bags of candy down on the bed, just waiting to be opened and savored. "Help yourself to the candy, girls!" she said. As she continued to pet the parrot - running two fingers its chubby little neck -, she gave a small nod. "That sounds fine! Or is that because I told you you had that Jamie Lee Curtis about you and you wanna check?" she asked, giving Aiko a wink. |

"I erm... I take my coffee with milk. I tend to prefer these anyways." Reaching into her bag, Kaya pulled out a small bottle of energy drink that she twirled around in her hand. Mom always said that those things tasted awful but she liked that kind of taste. Coffee was still good though. Turning her head to Aiko as she asked about Andre, she answered the girl with, "Andre's my pig. He's a wonderful creature and very intelligent. My mom wanted to raise him to turn into bacon, but I told her no." |
