Ayano shook her head.

"Not really. It's just gossip that I heard," she said. "Actually, the rumors stem mostly from the newer folk. High school graduates, it seems. For example, a friend of mine at a cafe's heard about there being a bunch of them. And to answer Tohru-san's question, I don't know any specifics, but I hear they kind of have special abilities. There was also a rumor that it was because of magic people were what caused an incident that happened in Ruwashi Park not too long ago. Other than that, there's the cases of missing people in the city, but it's not too suspicious considering we have a moderate population and the city's a little big."

Ayano pinched her chin.

"Anyways, that might be something to interest you. You could always go around Ruwashi Park and ask about that incident; I don't know much about it myself."

Tohru blinked for a moment then shook his head. Magic people in Nagashima? That was certainly something to think about. Sadly, neither Ayano nor Momoe seem to know much about the topic in particular. So, he just shrugged.

"I'm afraid I haven't seen any of these magic people anywhere in Nagashima." He said. "Regardless, it is definitely something worth looking into. I should head to the library once the school year starts."

Momoe listened to Ayano's story about the magical people in Nagashima...Mostly at the fact that they caused an incident in Ruwashi Park awhile ago, she heard about the story about the destruction of the park, luckily she wasn't there to see It...And thank god, seeing as how ton's of people died In the incident. "Thanks for more information Ayano...But maybe I'll just look at the internet for more about the Ruwashi park incident." Momoe said.

Before turning towards Tohru, who voiced his opinion about the magic people in Nagashima, mainly at the fact that he hasn't seen them. "Of course, you haven't, they will probably hide from normal people like us...And you'll just find book's about witch's and warlocks In the library, not stories about magical people In Nagashima," Momoe said as she thought about the magical people.

"But I wonder...Are they good, or bad? Maybe there's a magical war going on!"

Ayano shrugged.

"It's hard to say," she said. "I doubt though something as big as a magical war would go on without any attention coming from the city. It would definitely not be so covert as to escape everyone's eyes. As for them being good or bad, who knows? After all, they seemingly caused the accident in the park, did they not? Or at least they say."

Ayano tapped her cheek thoughtfully as she slung the plastic bag with her book over her shoulder.

"The word 'magic' irks me, though. I'd like to theorize that this so-called magic of theirs is actually some sort of mutation or abnormality that can't be scientifically explained yet. Perhaps they've experience something like radiation or perhaps they've mastered the ability to control the strings of reality. Maybe they have high affinity to certain elements. Anything is quite possible."

Ayano stopped and looked around. She giggled.

"Perhaps we should leave the shop and discuss this outside, though. We might end up holding the line."

Tohru blinked again. A magical war? Well, he could hardly believe such a thing would actually take place without gaining attention from authorities, the government, or even the military. And dear God, what an absolute disaster would it be if the military were to find out about the existence of magical people. They would probably discover all of the destructive applications of magic and use it for warfare. Yes, the JSDF was not a military, and that Japan gave up its right to declare war a long time ago. But it could still happen, dammit!

"Maybe it is magic, or maybe it is some advanced form of telekinesis. We humans have indeed proven ourselves to be capable of doing things both strange and extraordinary." He said. "Maybe they're both good and bad. There are books touching on the concepts of both 'Light' witches and wizards, and 'Dark' witches and wizards. Although, most of those books are fiction, so I can't really verify this."

Ayano then suggested that the conversation be moved somewhere else. Tohru looked around himself, then blushed in embarrassment for a moment.

"Uh...right." He said, scratching his head. "Let's go outside."

With that, Tohru took his bag of books and walked to the exit, waiting for Ayano and Momoe to follow after him.

"Obviously, they use magic to make sure no mortals find out about the war, be It invisibility or a mind wipe," Momoe said to the unsure Tohru and Ayano about her theories about the so called magical war that might be happening around Nagashima that nobody knows's about because of the things Momoe mentioned, just then the two suggested to leave the store as the feel there holding up the line. "Yeah, we should...I feel like some people are staring at us since were In this line for awhile." Momoe said as she walked out of the store, book In hand and knew she bought It.

Once she was outside of the store, Momoe turned her attention back to Tohru and Ayano and see what they had to say now about the magical people and war.

"So...Should we continue this talk about magical people or something else...Supernatural...Probably."

Ayano was politely listening as they went out and considered whether they should.

"Well, I unfortunately don't know much about the magic people other than what I told you," Ayano said. "Although, proposing theories as to how they work do interest me. Regardless, would either of you be interested in sitting down for coffee or tea? Or do you have other things on your agendas?"

Tohru sighed in relief as he, Ayano, and Momoe were finally outside of the store, and away from the wary eyes of the other store patrons. And probably the cashier too.

He smiled when Ayano offered to have coffee with them while they further discussed the existence of the magic people. "Coffee would be great. I'd love to." He said.

Momoe listened as Ayano suggested that they should have coffee, which Tohru happily agreed to...And so did Momoe herself. "Yes...I would also like to have coffee, but I don't have any yen now..." Momoe said sadly before speaking again, trying to get the two to feel sorry for her. "But I'll just sit there and just talk, but the coffee store better not be Himitsu or Hosiyens, I don't trust those two places, especially Himitsu, I got a feeling there smuggling beans." Momoe said as she followed Ayano and Tohru once they left the store.

"So, any more discussions on magical people?"

"Oh, please don't worry about the expenses," Ayano said as she waved her hand dismissively and reached into her crescent-shaped, gormetted handbag. "As I am the one who proposed we have coffee or tea, please allow me to treat you. After all, I'm rather curious to hear your opinions on these strange rumored matters. I believe one coffee shop shouldn't be too far from here."

Ayano jerked her thumb in the direction ahead of them.

"As for the magic people, I wonder if there's anyway to expose them," she said. "I'd like to know first hand how they've come to the possession of such powers."
