Miraculously, Ryuunosuke had managed to get to the shopping center just fine. He left the apartment, got on the bus, and stepped into the shopping center without falling or landing somewhere he wasn't supposed to. He was actually almost feeling kind of good about the day until he fell down half a flight of stairs while heading to the food court. Whoops. As likely the most experienced person in Nagashima when it came to falling down stairs, Ryuunosuke was mentally prepared for it, bracing himself and covering his head and neck so he wouldn't get any serious injuries. Thankfully, he was still reasonably hardy from all his fighting despite his time away from Nagashima, so he was mostly fine once he landed on the floor other than a few scratches here and there. Ryuunosuke shakily got up into a sitting position, rubbing his back. "Ow... not again..." He was pretty sure he'd hit something on the way down, too. He blinked - the only other thing he'd hit while falling down the stairs would be someone going up the stairs. Ryuunosuke looked over and saw someone else laying on the floor, presumably because they'd hit them on the way down. He gasped, then scrambled up to his feet to head over to the other person, offering them a hand. "I'm so sorry, are you okay? I wasn't -ow- watching where I was going, I should have been paying attention," he said, still wincing in pain. |

It was a good day to go outside, is what Ryouta Murakami had thought to himself before he'd been slammed on the ground by a person falling down a flight of stairs. Shortly before the event, he had entered the Shopping Center right after working out because he intended to buy more games. It was something that he'd done before, one time, and he'd realized that the stores in there were actually pretty well stocked - as such, there were no reasons for him to hesitate going there. What's more, since the end of year break was still occurring, he had more free time in his hands than he could actually use, as there's only so much time you can spend planning meals and exercise routines before your mind is rendered numb and inoperational. However, he had left the store empty-handed. None of the games drew his attention, and the releases he was looking for were still a bit far away. The large man had nothing to do, so he'd decided to walk around the shopping center to see if something drew his attention. He'd descended a flight of stairs before realizing that it led to the food court and he didn't actually need to be there, since he had just had lunch at his apartment. As he turned around to go up the same flight of stairs, a person somewhat shorter than him crashed into his body, sending him flying backwards. Which brings us to the present time; Ryouta laying on the ground. Since he himself was a rather clumsy person, he was experienced in the act of falling down and knew how to fall to minimize damage. That didn't mean it didn't hurt. The fall had also managed to make his clothes - a dark blue sweater over a white dress shirt, dark brown pants and black shoes - dirty. Ryouta sat down and began rubbing the back of his neck, which somehow managed to make contact with the ground at some point. "O-ow..." Luckily he was on the first step of the staircase so the fall hadn't been too bad. His glasses were unscathed too, miraculously. However, he was wondering about the well-being of the other person - he'd tripped on his feet and fallen from a higher point than him. As such, when he saw him approaching, Ryouta quickly got up from the ground. "Oh God, are you okay? I-I'm sorry for... erm..." Hold on, he is fine and it was his fault. "...erm, anyways, I'm okay. That... hurt a bit, but I didn't break anything. I think." |

Ryuunosuke withdrew his extended hand once Ryouta got up by himself, relieved to see that he was mostly alright. "Phew, that's good. I didn't see you as I was, er, tripping." His face flushed and he gave Ryouta an embarrassed, sheepish look before bowing low. "Again, I'm really sorry," Ryuunosuke said, getting out of the bow. "I really shouldn't have been so careless..." Looking up at Ryouta's face, Ryuunosuke paused; he definitely didn't look familiar. But he did look huge. Whoa. This guy was bara as fuck. Edited by Supnitle, Mar 26 2016, 05:15 PM.

"H-hey, that's okay, I should have paid more attention to where I was walking to..." It seemed to be that the other guy was just about as apologetic as himself, if not more. How was that possible? We may never know. Not too long after, he noticed that the boy seemed to be staring at his body... did he spill something on his clothes? Ryouta looked down and saw nothing, yet it appeared to be that he was taking in something else. Maybe... he's looking at my muscles...? "...er..." The large man didn't know how to react to the situation. The person that had rolled onto him and caused him to fall to the ground appeared to be quite well-built too, so there was no reason for him to stare at another man so profusely... unless he's... Trying to push the thoughts out of his head, he spoke again. "S-so! What's your name? I'm Ryouta Murakami, it's nice to meet you!" Ryouta made a small bow, before realizing that introducing himself to a stranger so suddenly and with such apparent vested interest was rather suspicious. |

Apologeticness competition aside, (that almost certainly is not a word, Ryuunosuke thought to himself) seriously, this dude was freaking ripped. Like, whoa. Seriously, he was like a giant slab of beef with arms, legs, and the ability to communicate. Mostly in apologies, but still. It wasn't so much that Ryuunosuke found Ryouta attractive -it's not as though he found him unattractive, but the teacher was notably older and Ryuunosuke's thoughts typically don't swing that direction anyway- as much as he found him huge. Ryuunosuke considered asking him his exercise routine, but that would be a little weird. And then they were swapping names already and whoa. "Oh! Um. I'm Ryuunosuke Makoto." He didn't find the sudden introductions that odd, coming from a stranger - Nagashima was filled with oddballs, after all. "It's nice to meet you, Murakami-san. Are you here for... uh... shopping?" Ryuunosuke mentally winced at his own smoothness. |

It seemed to be that the other guy was still quite fixated on his body, and it was beginning to make Ryouta feel somewhat uneasy. A slight blush appeared on his face before the other guy replied. His apparent awkwardness went right over the large man's head, since he himself was not smooth in any way at all. "Er, y-yeah!" He stopped for a second. "...or at least I was. I came here to buy a few video games because I'd seen there was a store here that had a good variety of them but I didn't see any that I really wanted to get or I saw games that I already had and... um, yeah." I repeat, not smooth in any way. That did not explain in any way why he was in the food court, however. |

Just a short distance away, in a popular Italian cuisine store at the food court, a chef was carrying a large plate of pasta to the serving area. While he was carrying the large platter of silverware, however, he didn't see the rag under his feet and accidentally slipped on it, falling over and sending food flying everywhere. "Oh my god!" The chef exclaimed. "Look at all the spaghetti!" On a completely unrelated note, Ryuunosuke was nodding and 'hmm'ing at Ryouta's reply like he hadn't just splerged awkwardness over the already-awkward conversation. "Ah, yeah, I was mostly here for groceries and, um..." He paused, frowning and looking up at Ryouta, as if considering something. "... Okay, I have to ask," Ryuunosuke said, face brightening in embarrassment, "You're like, really in-shape. What kind of exercise routine do you do? Any particular training or something? I've been trying to get back in shape and you seem like you, er, work out." |

The conversation wasn't going well. "E-eheheh..." The large man scratched the back of his head as he tried to come up with some sort of conversation topic for them... but came up blank. That is, until Ryuunosuke outright asked him about his exercise routine and complimented me on my body what--NO STOP IT "I-uh..." A slight blush appeared on Ryouta's face. "R-right! It's good that you asked now, since I just finished working out today! Um..." And with that, perhaps the most horridly long explanation about physical exercise was given. Detailed explanations of exercise times and several names of exercises were given, detailing many kinds of weights and movements. Of course, I am not going to write this, since I don't even know if the stuff I do has names. Chances were that it was overwhelming for Ryuunosuke to try keeping all that info in. Actually, you know what? Let's just assume it was and Ryouta noticed it. "[...] ...then you need to twist it at an angle of 45º or else it won't give you max--oh, am I moving too fast?" With that, he pulled something out of the back pocket of his pants... A chart. He carried around a folded-up chart that detailed his exercise routine. It was so crammed together that it was basically incomprehensible. The info was so dense that you'd need to actually sit down and study it. "This is what I'm doing right now since I'm trying to bulk up a little..." 'A little' is not what the chart contained, in any way, shape or form. "Oh, right!" He pulled out yet another chart, this one showing a different kind of info. "This is for nutrition stuff!" The chart detailed the specific hours of meals and gave info on things like calorie, fat and protein intake levels, good brands of food, places to buy things, among other stuff. Again, far too detailed. There was almost no room for error. "Then there's also this other one that lets you know the optimal time to change between bulking and cutting seasons given the ratio between your overall body mass index and your fat percentage and... er..." He stopped, after realizing he'd practically gone on a rant. "...I overdid it, didn't I...?" |

For all of the negative qualities Ryuunosuke saw in himself, it was a fact that if anything, the boy was meticulous. He couldn't completely follow what Ryouta was saying, but he tried very hard to. Waist twist this and leg day that - Ryuunosuke just kept nodding, eyebrows furrowed. He occasionally muttered what Ryouta had said back to him, as if confirming he had heard it. He was trying to commit everything to memory, but it was just so much information. Ryouta noticed, eventually, and asked if he was moving too fast. "N-no," Ryuunosuke said, shaking his head. "I-it's fine, it's - " Before he could even finish protesting, there was suddenly a chart. No wait, multiple charts. Ryuunosuke squinted his eyes and leaned in, trying to read it, but the words were so small and the diagrams were so crammed together that he couldn't comprehend a single thing. "Um..." Then nutrition. "Uh...." And then a million more things. "Er..." Ryuunosuke shook his head again. "N-no, I think it's all super interesting, but, um... you're moving sort of quickly. Maybe, a bit slower? Um." He paused. "Y-you go to a gym, right? Where do you go?" |

"I..." He'd been right, and Ryuunosuke in fact needed him to go more slowly. "...r-right." With that, he folded back the charts that he'd pulled out and put them back in his pockets. Or, at least, he tried. His clumsiness was beyond words and in many occasions he ended up dropping them, having to stop, crouch and pick them up again before continuing that task. After he was done, he let out a small sigh of relief. "Whoo, record time... Er, what was the question? Oh, right... mm." The large man crossed his arms in front of him - making the muscles in his arms bulge, stretching the fabric of his dark blue sweater and making his muscle mass even more notorious - and began tapping his foot against the ground rhythmically, with his eyes closed, deep in thought. "...yeah, I go to a gym, but I... can't remember the address too well right now... All I know is that if you leave the Apartment Complex and walk the path to Taiyoutono High School, you'll come across a café on a street corner, and if you turn left there, you'll eventually find it. I'm sorry, I'm not too good with locations..." This, however, did raise the question of why the man knew about this specific path, somehow implying he'd gone to Taiyoutono enough times to memorize the path and use it as a frame of reference. "I know that my explanation isn't very good, so if you need help getting there... um..." He looked around, his gaze becoming lost in the distance, as he tried to remember the specific address, coming up blank. "...er, I could... go with you there, I guess? We can meet up sometime and I can take you there and show you all the parts of the gym and show you the ropes of--well, you don't exactly look like you need someone to show you the ropes, I mean, you already have a bit of muscle on your--I-I mean..." He rubbed the back of his head as a slight blush formed on his face. Yes, he somehow managed to make the situation awkward again in less than 5 minutes. You go, Ryouta. "...y-yeah." The offer was already in the air, however. |
