Ayame watched as Trent went and placed a token in the machine and nodded happily. "Thanks." Ayame said to Trent as she looked back at Ryouta, who had just introduced himself to Ayame, she looked happily at him. "What a nice name Mr.Murakami, so w--However before Ayame could finish, Trent suddenly spoke saying Ryouta was not his father, Ryouta also wanted to know what age Ayame think's he is. "Oh...Uhh...Thirty?" Ayame guessed as she heard the shrug of Berith in her head. "Well what do you think his age is?" Ayame said to Berith who shrugged once more. "I don't care to look Ayame, these twos look shifty like these would be the kind of people that would kidnap people...Especially the Trent guy." Berith said as Ayame quickly replied. "Let's just see how they act...They seem to want to watch us play House of the Dead...And there acting friendly, well Ryouta is." Ayame said as she looked at Hideki who skipped the cutscene and was about to play, Ayame quickly joined him. "Ugh...Fine, but my watchful eye is set." Berith said after a long period of silence. "Right, let's not keep these two waiting and start firing!" Ayame said as she begun to open fire with her fake gun on enemy's alike, she had so far lost one HP but was doing incredibly well, as she kept on firing at the screen Ayame soon asked a question to Murakami. "So again...What bring's you here today Mr.Murakami?" She said waiting for the grown man to respond as she suddenly shouted at Hideki. "LOOKOUT THERE'S A NORMAL LADY ON THE GROUND, DONT FIRE!" |

Trent took notice of how Hideki had giggled at the notion of Ryouta being his father. "...yeah, it'd be hard to believe, I know. This guy looks decent and wears nice clothes and knows how to coordinate colors and he actually looks like he cares about his appearance - just look at his body." "E-eh...?" Timidly, Ryouta looked downwards. "What's this about my body...?" "Your muscles are so big that they stretch your clothes, for God's sake." Trent gave the large man a once over. "O-oh... huh, I... guess that's t-true...?" Ryouta seemed to be either uncomfortable with the situation or too unaware of his appearance to notice the impression he gave off to other people. "...does that make you guys uncomfortable?" "...I doubt looking at someone like you would make someone uncomfortable." Had Trent really just complimented Ryouta's body...? "O-oh, wow..." He had. The large man blushed slightly. "See? Not my dad. I wouldn't say those things to someone related to me." Trent seemed to be unfazed by the situation, but Ryouta was clearly suffering. "I w-wouldn't say you're too bad either, Proctor-san! Don't beat yourself up so much over--" "...I'm 17." Now he looked dumbfounded by the large man's words. Ryouta quickly shut up and looked in another direction to avoid eye contact for a while with Trent. At least he didn't seem to be a threat... to the physical safety of people, because oh my god he's making me suffer... Ayame's answer caught his attention quite a bit, however. "You're cruel, Fukui-san... I'm only 26--well, I guess I'm not too far from that age, but still..." Seemingly, both Hideki and Ayame were ready to begin the game. As they turned around and the kind of game they were playing became evident, Ryouta's expression soured. "O-oh my..." He very seriously could not handle horror in any way, shape or form. "Well, I came here because I saw there was an arcade in Nagashima while on my way to the gym, so I decided to check it out... it's... nice that it has games like th--aagh!" Ayame's sudden yell made him yelp. He was rather abnormally meek for a person his size... Trent, however, was somewhat impressed. She appeared to be very good at this, and he wasn't expecting her to be. Not only did she kill a lot of things at once while keeping her health reasonably high... "...over there, Tachibana-san. Next to that building. There's a zombie. Shoot it before it gets too close." He was no slouch, either - the zombie he'd pointed out was quite out of view at the moment... |

With 4 points of health and 6 bullets for their guns, the game began. Ayame was pretty good maintaining her health, something that couldn't be said for Hideki. Horror movies were pretty hard to see, but a horror/action game was at least less unnerving for him. However, he still didn't have good gaming skills to keep up with it, and soon he was down to 2 points of health. He was startled by her scream, but not enough to accidentally misfire and hurt the lady. "But Trent-san, a zombie is approaching her!" He said, ignoring the distant zombie that Trent pointed out, and focusing on a zombie that was about to attack her. Luckily, the lady rewarded both Ayame and Hideki with a health point to help them. But then the came shifted to the zombie that Trent pointed out, only this time it was only centimeters away, going in for a bite. Just as it came, his health point was taken away. "Aw, damn!" He wasn't still out yet, but he could have used that health point to, maybe, remain alive. |

Ayame gasped when Hideki shot at the lady, but luckily for them, she was still okay and rewarded Ayame and Hideki at saving her by giving them a health boost...They could have got a higher one If Hideki did not shoot her just there, soon after the gate beside them opened and more creatures that look like they came from Hell soon appeared, causing Ayame to fire at them. "Now I know what you're doing when the apocalypse hits." Berith said sounding impressed at Ayame who just smiled as she continued to shoot. As the two kept on firing, Ayame felt uncomfortable at Trent insulting Ryouta over the joke she made over them being father and son and Ryouta letting him get away with it, but she quickly replied when Ryouta yelped after her shouting. "Sorry...I do that sometimes when I'm playing a serio---HIDEKI WHATEVER YOU DO NOT SHOOT THAT ONCOMING SCARED LITTLE BOY!" Ayame said quickly to Hideki as a small child in a weirdly dressed sailor suit appeared on the screen running from the enemies, as Ayame kept on firing she soon spoke again to Ryouta. "Anyway It's nice that you came here to have some fun before getting some exercise...But Trent-san...No offense, but can you lay off the snark comments to Ryouta?" "Be careful Ayame, who knows how Trent will react." |

It seemed to be that they were handling the situation... relatively well. Ryouta could barely look at the screen, but Trent was quite alert, watching all of the events unfold. Occasionally he would tell Hideki about different things that happened in the game, to keep him going.. Ayame apologized for her sudden shout. "O-oh, no, it's fine, Fukui-s--aah!" Not even half a second ater she'd began apologizing she shouted again, causing the large man to jump and stumble backwards a bit. It was too much for him, he was going to just look away from the screen now... Then came Ayame's request. Trent just stopped looking at the screen and turned his gaze towards her. He was about to say something when suddenly Ryouta intervened. "Fukui-san...? That... wasn't really snarky, and if anything, I think Proctor-san ended up insulting himself... it's okay though, I know snark when I see it - I'm a teacher, after all, and it comes with the job!" Such a jumpy and seemingly timid man was a teacher? This was new. "...uh, yeah, what he just said, but... a teacher, huh? Where do you work?" "Oh, I work at Taiyoutono High School, though I'm not starting class until the school year starts again." That was strange - it didn't seem like Trent was the kind of guy to care about... well, pretty much anything at all. "...hm." His interest appeared to be short-lived, however. Ryouta was now baffled. |

Despite their mistakes, they tracked on. Every now and then Trent would get close to give Hideki some tips, some which were actually rather helpful in keeping up with Ayame. If it wasn't for that, he probably would have gotten a game over. Needless to say, as the game advanced he found himself with only one health point left. Eventually they began walking down a street corridor that was, eerily quiet. Knowing tropes and uses of set-pieces, Hideki could deduce that this was a set up for a jumpscare. Little did he know, the true jumpscare was Ayame. The loud sound of a door banging, revealing a young kid and a few zombies, combined with Ayame's loud yelling, caused Hideki to gasp in surprise. But instead of firing, his gun jumped out his hands and he tried desperately to hold it again, as it kept bouncing between his fingers. By the time he managed to get a hold on the gun again, all he could do is fire one bullet... ... Which managed to save the kid in the nick of time. "Phew, that was complicated." He said, as they moved to the next segment. He was so relieved from the situation, he missed out Ayame's comment towards Trent. All he heard was something something school year starts again, which only made Hideki concentrate on the game. Now it was time to relax from school, after all! |

"Oh right...Didn't mean to say that Trent-san, sorry!" Ayame said as Hideki accidentally lost his balance with the gun due to the little boy and her shouting, she said nothing as Hideki struggled to grab it again, lucky for him he did and managed to save the boy just in time from any danger. "Good job." Ayame said to Hideki as they continued on with the game, as they waited for the next batch of enemy's to appear Ryouta told the three his job, mainly being a member of staff in Taiyoutono. "Oh, you work there...I'm about to start there when the graduation break ends...Maybe we could be in the same class?" Ayame said as she started firing, before asking Ryouta another question. "Actually, are you a teacher Ryouta-san? If so, which year?" Ayame said waiting for Ryouta a question which only made Berith shiver. "What?" She said to the knight in her head. "Nothing, I just find him weird to be a teacher...Your possible teacher when you start school soon..." |

With a deadpan expression Trent stared as Hideki stumbled with his gun. Granted, Ayame's yells were quite surprising, but... At least he'd managed to kill it. Trent would have snatched the gun right out of his hand and continued playing himself. "...that was amusing." Ryouta, however, was rather amazed. "It says a lot about your perseverance that you still managed to kill that thing even though your gun flew out of your hands... amazing, Hideki-san." The chances of Hideki taking that comment as a mock were rather high. Ayame proceeded to ask about Ryouta's job as a teacher. "Oh, I'd say it's very probable! I teach math in all grades, so chances are that I might give you class! Just... don't bring horror games to class, please..." "...I just left Taiyoutono. No chances of us meeting." Trent didn't seem too interested in the conversation. "Oh...? Still, I could help you with math if you want me to, Proctor-san." The large man turned to him, a welcoming smile on his face. "...I always aced math." The pale young man was having none of it. Not knowing what else to say, Ryouta turned to the screen once more. Edited by theredarcana, Feb 27 2016, 07:49 PM.

"Ah, thanks." He said, as the game continued. He was beginning to understand that Ayame was asking questions to Ryouta, about being a teacher and all. Of course, it wasn't exactly easy, given how he needed to concentrate at the game as well, so he didn't exactly hear the entire conversation, only snippets of it. One of them being that Ryouta was apparently a math teacher. "Wait, you'll teach math, Ryouta-san?" He asked, a clear tone of surprise in his voice. "I thought you'd fit more of a gym teacher role, with your built and all." "kid, something's happening." It was then when Hideki realized that the boss of the stage was present. A giant, headless steel knight made his presence known, followed by a tiny flying imp. The game then presented a diary of sorts, which gave a very quick diagram of the boss, including it's weakness: The flying imp. Everything else was invulnerable. Someone who never played the game would think that's lame, given how the game doesn't give you a chance to figure it out, and that having the weakness on screen would make the battle very easy. That was a good sign that those people never played House of the Dead 2. The challenge is not figuring out the weakness, after all. It was attacking it. And for Hideki, even the first boss was very challenging, as the imply was flying around everywhere at a fast rate, often hiding behind the knight's body. Following it was very complicated, and they would both be in trouble if they don't strike it fast. "Ah, Ayame! Shoot the axe! It will cancel the attack." Indeed, the knight began doing a mighty swing, that could only be stopped if they shoot at it fast enough. Should Ayame fail, it would mean both of them would get hit. |

"But why would I?" Ayame said to Ryouta when he said not to bring horror games to Math's class since he Is most likely going to teach in Ayame's class in the new year, he and Trent soon talked when Ryouta thought that Trent was having trouble with math's but he was actually fine with It. Soon after Hideki called out to Ayame when the first boss appeared, a headless knight. "Wow...How can he even see?" Berith said in curiousty, Ayame replied back. "Meh...Dont question it." Ayame said as a diary appeared on the screen that said that a fast flying imp was needed to kill the knight. But soon the reason Hideki called on her was answered as he told her to shoot at the approaching axe the Knight was about to swing at them, Ayame did her best and watched as the hit managed to miss the two. "Good shot." Berith said in Ayame's mind as she focused on trying to hit the imp, she quickly called out to Hideki. "I'll hit the imp...Make sure the knight dosen't do anything crazy." |
