As Berith was heard yawning, signalling that he was getting board, Ayame turned towards Ryouta before the two could resume the game. "Are you...Starting to get bored of this?" Ayame said to Ryouta waiting for him to reply, she noticed Trent starting to struggle In his match against Hideki, who stopped at nothing to win against the man, soon enough Ayame herself yawned and looked around as Ryouta had trouble whistling.

"Uhh...Don't do that." She said to the man as she played with her paddle looking board before looking back at Ryouta.

"Want to just end this match?"

Perhaps the best strategy at the moment was to not even play properly. Trent struck the puck coming his way in such a way that he caused it to raise in the air by about a foot. However, the hit was calculated to cause the puck to fall flat and enter Hideki's goal line if unobstructed. The goal was to confuse Hideki to the point where he'd be unable - or afraid - of striking the puck. Dirty tricks.

Meanwhile, Ryouta walked over to Ayame and spoke to her in a low tone, trying not to be heard by the other two. "Ayame-san, I'm... afraid. I feel that something bad is going to happen soon, so I just want to keep an eye on those two for now... I'm sorry."

And of course, it was all a set up all along, but not one he anticipated. As he saw Trent about to strike, he was surprised by how his strategy was making the puck, literally, fly across the field. Hideki tried to swat the air, but he wasn't able to hit it, as his swing came a bit too early to be successful.

Without difficulty, the puck landed back in the field, and fell into Hideki's goal.

6 - 2

One more point, and it'd be victory for Trent.

"GOD DAMN IT!" Hideki blurted out as the puck came back to the field. His cheeks were beginning to grow red as he displayed a clearly annoyed look on his face. Something was wrong, why was this particular match affecting him so much? He didn't know, and he didn't care, all he knew is that he wanted to destroy Trent.

Without further ado, he took his paddle and hit the puck. Hard.

Ayame turned towards Hideki as she and Ryouta just...Stopped playing there air hockey match and watched Hideki and Trent's, Ryouta was getting worried that something bad was going to happen, indeed, Hideki screamed In frustration as his cheek glowed red and seemed very determined to beat Trent at his own game. "Wow...He's really trying." Berith said as Ayame spoke back. "Yeah...Maybe I should help Hideki calm down." Ayame said as she walked towards Hideki. "Wait...It might not be worth It." Berith said as Ayame tried to reassure him...And Ryouta when he apologized for ending the game. "It's ok Ryouta-san, I was getting board already." She said as she spoke to Berith again.

"Hideki's my friend, nothing will go wrong If I calm him down." She said to her persona who shrugged as Ayame grabbed Hideki's shoulder and tried to calm him down.

"It's ok Hideki-kun, It's just a game, Trent-san's not worth It...No offense."

Hideki seemed to be in a rather altered emotional state because of the game. When he sent the puck towards Trent, the pale young man slammed his paddle down on it and looked up at him slowly, an inscrutable lack of emotion on his face.

Normally, Ryouta would have taken some offense to the idea of Ayame getting bored from playing with him, but the situation was a bit too intense for jokes. "Er... alright." He observed as the blonde girl went towards Hideki. Hopefully that would be enough to calm him?

Trent didn't care either way. The game was metaphorically in the bag, so it wouldn't take too much for him to win by that point. If Hideki was truly as altered as he seemed to be, he didn't need to do anything particularly impressive to win... and instead chose to use brute force to overwhelm him. In one motion, he struck the puck at high speeds towards him. It didn't matter if he managed to react to it or not because it would never reach him - the disk-like object bounced off of one of the walls on Hideki's side and returned towards Trent, who wasted no time and struck it back, this time towards the other side, with similar results. He repeated these steps several times.

This play went on for a few seconds before he decided that it was good enough. In the possible confusion, he struck the puck straight towards Hideki's goal.

There was an unexplained shudder that came to Hideki's back as he felt Ayame's hand on his shoulder. He suddenly turned to her, his face failing to convey a serene look after what he's been going through. He looked at her like she just swatted the back of his head, as he replied with a mere "I'm alright." before turning back to Trent.

He had no strategy, he had no vision, all he has was the puck in his sights, and his hand firmly gripping the paddle. And as Trent began his swings, Hideki tried to hit the puck, but to no avail. He was always too fast, too impulsive, and the pattern was always erratic enough for him to not realize the correct path. It kept going on for a moment, with Hideki growing more and more angry as the swings failed.

In the end, he was tired. He was breathing loudly due to the tiredness and soreness of his arms, and he was simply Done with this match. And Trent hit it one more time, this time straight towards the goal.

With all the strength he had left, Hideki held the paddle with both hands, and gave it a mighty swing towards Trent's side, hoping the sheer force of the puck would make it to go his goal...

... Except for the fact that Hideki hit the puck a bit too hard, and in a similar fashion to Ryouta previously, it sore above the field with all the intent of leaving it... And heading straight towards Trent's face.

If he dodges it in time, the puck would instead keep flying straight, probably hitting some poor, unassuming bystander. Otherwise it would probably leave a red mark in his face. Meanwhile, Hideki was still breathing heavily from the swing, his vision blurred as he was being overwhelmed by the tiredness.

Ayame felt Hideki shuddering and tried to settle the situation with his anger against Trent. "Hideki-kun, come on, It's just a game, no need to get angry at so---Huh!?" Ayame suddenly gasped when Hideki looked at her and said he was fine in an angry tone...Something just didn't feel right when Hideki said that, especially when he look's like he was going to vomit. "I beg to differ," Berith said, referring to when Hideki said he was fine.

Speaking of Hideki, he quickly fired the puck towards Trent.

"Trent, look out!" Ayame said warning Trent at the incoming puck as Hideki looked like he was now going to faint, Ayame walked beside him and looked at him once more.

"Hideki, you really need to sit down somewhere, I think I saw a chair nearby, Ryouta, can you see If there's anything to drink around here, I think Hideki might need It."

She quickly looked back at Trent.

"Are you ok, that puck was coming very fast?"

Something terrible had indeed happened, but somehow Trent had seen it coming. When the puck came flying straight towards Trent's face he sidestepped it and looked at it go... right as it hit a woman on the head. Angered, said woman left the arcade.

Ryouta was already going to check on the woman when she left. "I... er, alright!" Thus, the large man left to buy something to drink.

Slowly, Trent turned back towards Hideki. His gaze was blank, though there was some low-key emotion in it... anger, perhaps? Hate?

The buzzing, the people, the cabinets, all the sounds were clashing together as Hideki slowly stood up back in place, seeing the aftermath of his last hit. He saw how Trent managed to dodge the puck, as it continued it's trajectory across the place, until it hit an unassuming lady nearby. And angered by the event, she exited the arcade.

"I... What..." He slowly said, the cadence of his voice returning it's normal subdued self, as he looked around confused, seeing Ayame was trying to say something about drinks, Ryouta was walking away, and Trent was looking at him with a... Gloomy look in his face.

It was then when it came to him. He went off the rails.

"... Oh god... Oh god what happened? What came over me???" Hideki asked to, no one in particular, as he let go off the paddle and held his head with his hands, a mortified look in his face. He felt terrible for being so aggressive in the match, and for hitting an innocent person. This felt so strange, and yet... So familiar, for some odd reason.

And meanwhile, Agni remained silent. The one moment he thought he would say something.

As Ayame waited for Ryouta to get back with the drinks, she gasped when the puck Hideki sent flying into the arcade had hit a nearby woman. "Hideki!" Ayame said in shock...Fortunately, the Lady did not notice the three and quickly left In anger, soon after, Hideki snapped back to his senses and seemed shocked by his actions. "Don't worry Hideki-kun...Game rage can happen to almost anyone." Ayame said looking happy that Hideki was fine...Although she was suspicious of something, which she wanted to know...

"But Hideki..."

Ayame said to get his attention.

"You sounded...A bit different there."
