Trent's general strategy was working. Not only was he winning the match, he was also causing Hideki to become annoyed. If that kept up, in no time he wouldn't be able to do complex strategy as well as before... As the puck approached him, he struck it at full strength, sideways, causing it to... go towards his side of the field faster... before it bounced off the end wall perfectly and went back to Hideki's side, moving left to right and vice-versa as it advanced. In its current trajectory it would not enter the goal line if unattended, but perhaps it was enough to cause Hideki to lose concentration and make a weak, improper blow, sending it to his own goal? A smirk spread across the pale young man's face. And an uneasy smile through the large man's. "I... h-hope so, Ayame-san..." The puck headed for him and, in surprise, he ended up striking it at full force. It didn't rise into the air, but the puck was certainly faster than it had ever been when Ayame played against Trent. Would she be able to handle it? |

And then the puck came from Trent's side, Hideki noted how it was bouncing from side to side at a high speed. Was Trent trying to confuse him? The answer was an obvious yes, but if it was part of his plan to intimidate him, then he was not going to fall for it. When the puck reached his side, Hideki was not fooled by it, he closed his eyes and swung his paddle with all the force he could muster, as the clash for the puck and the paddle was heard... But when he opened them, he realized that he accidentally let go off the paddle. Now both the puck and the paddle were flying across the board at blinding speed. |

Ayame looked at the counter so far, 0-2, since she setted It to five, If she scores three more time's then she will surely win, although Ryouta looked like he gained a boost of confidence, and watched as he struck the puck very harshly towards Ayame, she tried to stop the puck as fast as she can, but It was too late, even with her stregth, the puck was too strong enough to slow down or even stopped and made It's destination to Ayame's goal, scoring Ryouta a point...Though Ayame was still in the lead. "Wow...He really Is that strong." Berith said in surprise as Ayame held up the puck. "Yeah...But two can play at that game...And score three." Ayame said as she placed the puck into the table and quickly with all her might bashed her paddle Into It and towards Ryouta...Hoping he'll miss again and get Ayame another point...Or she can screw up. "How's your hand?" |

!!! For as much as he was a hyper-competitive beast and intended to destroy Hideki in the game, Trent was way above the idea of attacking him while he had no way of defending himself. In one move, he slammed his paddle on the puck and sent it at full speed towards the right, in a collision course with Hideki's paddle... before he struck the item back towards the boy. In doing this he ended up hitting the puck too, sending it at high speeds towards Hideki's side of the board, potentially causing it to reach his goal before the paddle did... before he himself threw his paddle across the board. It bounced on Hideki's wall and returned to Trent, hitting the puck in the process and sending it back towards him. When all that was done, he grabbed his paddle and hit the puck back, slightly slower than before - by that point the paddle should have already reached Hideki, so they could both continue the game properly. He had to admit, that maneuver had been difficult and would probably have left Hideki baffled. On the other table, Ryouta was trying his best to keep up with Ayame but struggling. However, he was at the very least getting used to her aggressive, no-nonsense style of play, so he instinctively placed his paddle in front of his goal line... blocking the puck completely. When that had been done he leaned forward and slammed the puck with all his strength, accidentally falling on the table before getting back up. The vague intensity in his gaze was anything but gone, but he also had a slight blush of embarrassment. "W-what about my hand?" |

To his surprise, Trent managed to somehow give Hideki's paddle back to him, stop the rapid passage of the pucks, and then retry the initial hit again. The paddle went back to Hideki's hand, and he naturally got a hold of it, but it wasn't due to reflexes exactly, but due to how startled he was for the entire event. Have Trent not thrown his paddle to stop the puck at the last second, he would have been able to score a hit. At this point, he didn't know whether to be amazed or annoyed. Was he being a trickster on accident? Or was he actively trying to show off? "Okay, seriously." He said, before hitting the puck back to Trent. "How are you able to do all of that? Are you literally calculating all the hits in a fraction of a second?" Whether Trent took it as a compliment or a sign of irritation was up to him. One thing was button reflexes, but this was outright ridiculous. |

"I meant was It getting tired?" Ayame said jokingly...Although she did feel her hand getting tired, but she didn't want to quit yet...Not while she was doing good so far against Ryouta...She still needed three more points from him and she'll win, she watched as the strong man slammed into the puck hard, causing him to fall on the table and made Ayame gasp. "Are you o---However before Ayame could finish, she saw the incoming puck and quickly slammed her paddle Into It, hurting her hand a little bit due to the impact. "Wow...That was amazing Ayame." "Yeah...But my hand kind of hurts now." She said to her Persona as she waited for Ryouta to get up again before slamming her puck forward towards Ryouta, waiting to see how he'll respond now. "Nice game so far huh?...Not that I'm trying to distract you or anything." |

"Maybe I am, maybe I am not." Truth of the matter was that neither option was true. Or, at least, not fully. Certainly, sending the puck at weird angles and high speeds was on purpose, as was throwing the paddle at two points, but the misdirection of the puck towards Hideki's goal line was unintentional and he decided to toss his paddle at it to misdirect it once more and cause it to return to him. It had been a rash action that had somehow given the desired results... but now wasn't the time to think about that. With a strike, Trent sent the puck at a perfect 45ยบ angle towards Hideki's side of the goal - an easy hit to return, or at least it was to Trent. Ryouta wasn't having the same luck. "Oh, no, I actually have really good stamin--" He nearly collapsed on the table as he tried to stop the puck from entering his goal. He was successful. His muscles had grown so much that it was them that stopped the puck, not the paddle - the item had been caught under his pectoral muscles. He could feel it. He blushed. As he got up he grabbed the object. "Y-You're clearly trying to distract me! That's... that's rude!" He still put it on the table and hit it back towards her anyways. |

This time, the strike Trent made seemd harmless enough for Hideki, althought that was the thing that tipped him off. What was Trent planning now? In any case, he kept a sharp mind and struck the puck with his paddle, the puck going in multiple directions. At this point, he might as well give up since there was no chance in hell for him to match Trent's unreal skill. But he wasn't gonna give up so easily! |

Due to her talk to Ryouta earlier, Ayame almost managed to score a point from him, but unfortunately, he got It at the last minute and even accused Ayame of being rude by cheating. "Wow...Harsh." Berith said as Ayame shook her head. "I just want to chat while playing...I don't count that as cheating." Ayame said as she saw the oncoming puck when the time was right... "I just want to have fun, make friends...And score!" Ayame bashed her paddle into the puck, sending It flying back to Ryouta, she simply looked at the man happily. "It's not serious or anything...Can't we just have fun?" |

Without any warning, Trent moved his paddle to the side and let the puck enter his goal line. It didn't fully look like he had given Hideki a point - he was careful enough to make it look like he was actually focused properly when it happened. Once it happened, however, he immediately grabbed the puck once more, slammed it on the table and struck it at full speed towards Hideki while he was presumably distracted and/or outright baffled/at a loss because of what had just happened and, hence, vulnerable. Even though there wasn't a ruleset he still managed to not play fair. Ryouta, on the other hand, was playing fair and trying his hardest... but not being too good at it. When Ayame struck the puck he made a rash move out of instinct and sent it moving at full speed through the board on accident. "I-I am having fun!" |
