It was fortunate that Natsumi was wearing her headphones, because Harkens' joke would have made her eyes roll so hard she'd have seen her own brain. It became obvious that a fair number of people involved in the project had arrived, so she calmly removed the headphones, put the laptop back into her bag, picked her cup o' joe, and stood up to step closer to the rest of the group.

The cast and crew looked like nice people with a genuine interest in their work - her natural inclination towards prudence taught her that even lovely folks could be absolute pains in the ass, though. Well, she could always get away from the project if things turned sour.

Of course everyone wanted to be an actor, but her main interest was elsewhere. "Name's Natsumi. I heard there was a movie being made, and I'd like having a hand in the music." she said, crossing her arms over her chest. She did look a little like an actress, though, with her dark denim jacket contrasting with her white shirt and jeans, as well as her carefully-applied make-up and nail polish - stylish as hell, really.

Aiko stepped inside - Natsumi remembered their conversation about the Halloween movies as having been pretty pleasant. "Hey ! How's it been ?" she greeted her, parting with her professional attitude for a second.

Yes… I’d sell the souls of all humanity to the devil if I thought it’d get us a happy ending.
Yup, totally late... Aiko sighed internally but kept up a slightly peppy walk as she headed over to the group. "Hey-hey, I'm ready to get this started!" She said to the group of people that were starting to group up. If there was ever a place for her to go, it'd definitely be there. It also helped that there were a few familiar faces from when she signed up for the job originally. "Well, at least I know I actually got to the right place!"

Aiko stuffed her hands into her pockets as she walked to join the others, but her attention was soon grabbed by a slightly familiar voice that called out to her. The short-haired girl turned to see Natsumi trying to get her attention, and Aiko waved in response. "Yo! I'm fine, you?" Aiko chuckled slightly and made her way over to talk with the other girl as everyone moved to hear what Karou was saying. "I mean, I've kinda just been real busy and everything too, but at least I still made it here, right? Hehe..." This will definitely not look good on a movie resume, I bet...

As she got closer, Aiko started to recognize a few more faces from the first time that she met. The Hideki guy, Quiet Yuki, The one kinda cheery girl... Aaaand that was about it. It wasn't until Naofumi brought up the school election congratulating Yukiko that she noticed that she was there. Oh yeah, those did happen... Heh, good luck Taiyoutono. If the elections were any indicator, you guys are in for a wild ride. Aiko soon took her seat at the table with the others as they started to talk about what rolls they'd want to fill. "I've got some experience in film-editing, so I can probably do that. Not so much sound-wise, though, sorry."

"Oh, thanks... ah... Ichihara-san? It'll be great if you're on board, I'm sure!" Yukiko smiled at Kei's enthusiasm. She definitely did have that Drama Club flair about her. That much was clear! They had something of a full cast now, and she wasn't sure how to address this many people she didn't know at once since it seemed that she missed introductions (or maybe they never happened?), so she settled for a friendly wave.

"I said that I'd help out wherever I could. Morita-san, could you explain what it is we'll be doing?"

Illegal in five countries.
Harkens propped his legs up on the table and leaned back on his chair. Might as well act the role of a Producer. Probably should have come with an opera cape and a hat though.
"Well, I'm here as a producer. Anything you guys need? I can get it. Financing? Equipment? I'm your guy. You might say that you've got all that covered, but that's just to make a decent film. You want something amazing? I'm your guy."

He punctuated his little sales pitch with a wink and a finger gun. And that's how you sell a product.

Yuki's first instinct was to stroll over to Harkens and strike him as hard as possible right in his stupid face with a clenched fist. Something about this guy gave him the strongest feeling that he was only fit for that sort of thing.

But he thought better of it, that wasn't a very professional thing to do, was it? For the sake of the future, he'd have to hold off on anything rash and hope that he eventually became more tolerable as time went on.

Karou had a broad grin and everything from just using the edge of his seat to his bright demeanor suggested enthusiasm. "Great! Glad you asked that, madam president!" He clasped his hands together and spoke. "Alright, this is actually an attempt to revive an old project of ours. We had to stop last time when unfortunately some of the crew had passed. You know? That accident in the park a few months past?"

For once, his boundless enthusiasm wavered, his head bowed lower than his shoulders. He spoke calmly and motioned to the taller youth. "Well, me and Naofumi got together, and we got to think. We have about a few hours worth of footage that we weren't going to do anything with. Is it really okay to just leave it? I don't think the people who couldn't be here would want us to just give up on it, so with that in mind…I wanna get together a new crew, which ideally is you guys if you're still on board. we're going to do prep, editing and shooting over the course of the first week of break.

Yuki listened and nodded. It sounded consistent with what he'd been told the plan was. Mention of the park was still a smarting affair, but it wasn't anything he couldn't deal with without making a fus. He listened as Karou went on.

"The rest of the time? We're gonna be working on trying to get the finished product ready, with time factored in for reshoots as needed. And if you're all on board with this, I'd love to work with you all!"

Hideki took a moment to see at the variety of specialties everyone offered for the creation of this film, clothing, music, editing, props, a lot of stuff. Despite being ambivalent at the prospect, he looked forward to an orderly work with such a varied crew. And at the very least, he wouldn't be the only one applying for acting, especially knowing one of the actors.

But the he payed attention at Karou as he addressed everyone to talk about the film. He explained the work that needed to be done, and how he wished an overall good experience for everyone, but something that stuck to Hideki was something Karou mentioned close to the beginning...

The Park Incident?

He felt like asking about that, given how he had no knowledge of the event, but given the context of how he got this information, he felt it'd be insensitive to talk about it. Instead, once Karou finished talking, he raised his hand to ask a question. "Uh... What is the film going to be about, exactly?"

Atsuko felt a little sad at the mention of the Park Incident. She felt a tiny bit guilty too. She had no part in it, but she still felt terrible that people died because of other Persona Users. But she smiled at Karou and gave him a thumbs up. "I'm definitely on board! I'll do my best to help you out, Morita-san and Tsuda-san!" She cheered.

Rumi nodded in agreement, a smile formed on her face. "I-I want to help too! Um... Just tell me what you w-want done, and I-I will do it!" She said. Showing an unusual amount of excitement. Perhaps Atsuko had gotten the shy girl all riled up?

"Things've been going alright, y'know, the routine." Natsumi replied - truth be told, she was still getting settled into life with actually divorced parents actually not living together anymore, but she didn't think she was doing too bad a job at it.

She'd put her cards down on the table - music was her thing, she could care less about the rest -, the time had come to listen to what the others had to bring to the project. Harkens gained her antipathy the instant he put his feet on the table and acted like he was in charge - she couldn't resist the compulsion to lash out. "Can we do like good directors do and tell the producer to get off our backs and fuck off?" she quipped, sending Harkens a deadpan glance.

Natsumi's roleplayer knew a couple of things about movie production, mostly thanks to her affection for movie commentaries. Sucked that they'd lost good people to that incident in the Park. It was easy to forget amongst the Persona's community's bustle that for some people, it'd only been a few months at most since they'd suddenly lost a loved one. "D'you have a script on hand?" she asked.

Woooboy, looks like we got ourselves a full cast then. Bound to make this little job go a whole lot smoother, then! Aiko thought eagerly. More importantly, they had a lot of people around that could take care of the real busy work that she didn't want to deal with either! "So I take it we're relying on you for catering then too, eh?" Aiko jokingly said to Harkens. "I can have some pretty expensive tastes, might be a good idea to budget out a good amount just for that, eh?" I mean they have to feed us while we work on this, right? No way I'm having to go without food during all this editing.

Thankfully, she at least got an idea of what she was editing a few seconds later when Karou filled them all on in on the nature of the project. Aiko frowned slightly at the mention of the park incident too. It'd been in the news when she'd been at school, really nasty stuff too. Reading through Bedlam after awakening had revealed that Persona people were behind it, which was... something Aiko wasn't sure how she felt about. She was all about movie horror, loved the stuff, but real life horror was a... real different beast.

Still! The job seemed like a noble enough goal. She could get behind that. "Hey man, I think that's a pretty good reason to want to make a movie. It's what documentaries and stuff are all about, right? Honoring your friend's hard work by keeping at it is really legit, guys." The short-haired girl gave a nod of understanding to the group as it solidified her decision to stay and work with them. I mean making a movie is pretty cool, but making it in someone's memory is a pretty good thing to do as well. Hit me right in the heart guys, cheap move.

"Just one thing, I'm with Tachibana-san here in wondering what this flick's going to be about. I'm all for the editing, but it'll be good to know what beast I'm working with here."

"So it sounds like you're doing a lot of post-processing already?" Yukiko frowned. If they already had footage that made their jobs as volunteers that much simpler, but... they already had footage? It looked like they were looking to fill in gaps, but how would they balance that with the fact that they already had other people working on footage.

"I don't think I quite understand what you want us to do. We're here to re-shoot some scenes for something that's mostly done, but we're still a different cast from what you had, if you've already shot some stuff. So, unless people are reprising roles, I think people will end up looking and sounding way different than they were to begin with, right?"
