Takes place sometime after Moving Pictures and Cattle Call

For obvious reasons, Yuki had suggested that the venue of their meeting with prospective new additions to their project from the maid cafe to the Hoshiyens one block from there. Partially he suggested this because it just wasn't professional at all to have a serious discussion in a fetish cafe. His main motivation was his own personal distaste for the place.

At any rate, the girls on the existing cast and crew backed him up right away, and when it came down to a vote, it was a forgone conclusion. At the moment he sat alone at the table nearest the corner of the alcove and nursed his one drink: black coffee, one sugar.

Yui and the others were there too, there was a collection of tables chairs and a couch with a coffee table in a cluster near one corner that they've all been parking near. Naofumi brought his laptop, There was Yui and their director and at least several others he'd not been introduced yet were also there. Polite 'hellos' and 'how do you dos' but Yuki had already explained the people he'd met at Tanjiro before, and everyone seemed to be waiting in silence.

There seemed to be a jovial undercurrent of excitement. But Yuki remained unmoved He just took another sip from the polystyrene cup and waited. They did give a pretty generous timing bloc for people to show up, from 16:30 until closing, should it last that long. It was just a quarter past six, so they were definitely all early.

The slight sound of a bell could be heard in the café's main entrance, as a new patron appeared. This being a pretty nervous Hideki. He was told that the meeting for the film project would take place at a Hoshiyens, and despite the (in his opinion) good quality of their drinks, it still didn't help that he'd still have to face a reunion that might decide his position in this film

Or even if he'll have a position to begin with.

*Gulp*

"just get it over with."

With a determination that might break easily, he entered the store and tried searching for this Yuki person. It was not hard to find him, considering he had company of other expecting people.

*Gulp*

"Hey there... I'm one of the people that signed for the project, Hideki Tachibana." He didn't know if Yuki already presented a list of possible candidates to the other people, but it'd be inpolite not to present himself anyway.

Atsuko sat there in a comfy chair with Rumi. She sipped a coffee and hummed softly, Rumi just stay there with her hands folded. Poor thing looked really nervous. She turned to the girl and smiled.

"You okay? You seem tense." She said softly.

Rumi frowned and looked Atsuko in the eyes. "I'm nervous. What if they think I'm weird...?" She replied with a shaky voice.

Atsuko placed a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Nonsense. No one thinks you're weird!" She cheered. "And I've been think, Rumi-chan. Maybe you could make costumes if they're needed. Your sewing skills are pretty great!"

"We'll see... Besides, they don't want some sloppy costumes..." She muttered.

Atsuko sighed softly and continued drinking her coffee. And she thought she herself was modest. Rumi tended to out herself down a lot. Hopefully it didn't affect how she worked on the movie. Then someone came in. It was Hideki!

"Hi, Hideki-kun!" She called out. Atsuko was so happy to see a friend! And he was working on the movie too? Awesome!~

Natsumi was busy being her usual aloof self - she wasn't exactly acquainted with these people, so she'd be sitting in her own corner doing her own thing until the time was right. For now, she was quite comfily installed in one of the seats, her laptop resting on her legs, a pair of headphones isolating her from the rest of the café. A steaming cup of coffee was on a low table just in front of her, waiting for her glossy lips to absorb the beverage inside.

Her eyes scanned the café around her. Yeah, she definitely recognized some of the faces there - she'd thought she'd be more early than everyone, but looked like this wasn't the case. She liked hanging out at cafés, so the girl didn't really mind.

What she was currently typing on her keyboard had little to nothing to do with the music of the film they'd be discussing, in fact. As always, the brunette was rather elegantly dressed - hey, maybe she could sneak in an appearance in that film and steal the show with her striking fashion sense and her natural charisma...

Yes… I’d sell the souls of all humanity to the devil if I thought it’d get us a happy ending.
"Crap crap crap crap!" Aiko panted as she quickly walked through the crowded city streets. There was a meeting! Today! And Aiko was certain that she was going to be late. "Why didn't I set my alarm for earlier? I knew that his was happening today, why didn't I just... ugh!" When she had heard the time from that gruff-looking kid, she even managed to write it down and everything! But noooooo, she had to go and let herself get distracted at home, and completely miss the fact that her phone's alarm was set to vibrate, so it had no chance of getting her attention.

"He said it was from 1600 or something, right? Oh god, it's already 6:20, I'm already twenty minutes late as it is!" It also didn't help that Aiko wasn't exactly sure how military time worked. Sure you could just change your display on your phone and watches to read it easier, but that was just too much trouble at times. Aiko's light blue jacket blew in the wind behind her as she power-walked past the slower people in her way, eyes thankfully spotting the Hoshiyens just ahead of her. "At least it's right there... Way to make a great first impression, me."

A few minutes after Hideki entered the building, the bell above the door rang again, and a slightly tired Aiko dressed in jeans and a green t-shirt made her way inside. Oh good, and it seems that everyone else is already here. Greaaat... "Hey guys, sorry I'm late! I had other things come up and I kinda lost track of time and then my alarm didn't go off and... well it's been a day."

It wasn't too surprising that they moved it, but Yukiko had read the fateful text about the relocation of their meeting midway through waiting on a table at the local maid cafe. And really, she would have been on time too, if she wasn't already eating one of their omelets! When she saw the text, she bolted down the food, bolted out the door, and bolted towards the cafe, hopping a bolted fence on the way out.

Luckily, it was a venue that was well-traveled by Yukiko, so finding it was no problem. As she entered the cafe and wiped a speck of reddened rice off her face, she waved towards the congregation of Reitaku faces.

"Hi! I'm Yukiko. Sorry for the holdup. I thought this was happening at a maid cafe."

Illegal in five countries.
Entering the cafe in his green and blue vest and shirt, Harkens looked around the cafe for the group. While he didn't exactly get into a deal with Yuki, he was still evidently invited to this meeting. If nothing, it could provide for some interesting opportunities for a franchising opportunist as him.

Finding the table they were seated at, he grabbed himself a chair from a nearby table and seated himself, greeting the group with,
"Well well, so this is where the magic of filmmaking begins, hmm? Shouldn't there be cigarettes and cocaine around here somewhere? Not that I know where to get those."

Despite the fact that Yuki and the established members of the cast and crew were mostly early, conveniently enough it seemed that everyone else was just as punctual or conveniently, enough had been there even before them. The last three people were evidently the not late at all Aiko, Yukiko and of course Harkens.

Karou had a good laugh at the comment, the good-natured mirthful kind that left no ambiguity that he thought he was kidding. "Hah! Nah, sorry man. I don't think that kind of stuff's in the budget." With a big grin, he nodded his head and waved. "I'm Karou Morita! I this whole thing was my idea, this is Naofumi Tsuda! He's been handling writing. Kei-chan's our leading lady for now.

Respectively, the taller young man nodded and Kei stood up and gave everyone a big smile, but focused on Yukiko. "Congratulations on the election! I think it's going to be pretty exciting working with you!"

"Right! Good turn out! We should wait until everyone's present to get down to brass tacks, but in the mean time-"

"Everyone is present." By Yuki's observations, anyways.

"Really? Excellent!" He clapped his hands together and took a few steps from the group before he asked. "Excuse me, could everyone that agreed to the project before get to this area now? Looks like we're ready to start!"

Well, that was easier than expected, he thought the ones in charge would look at him dead in the face, already judging his performance as a participant of the film. But at the very least, he was not alone! As he introduced himself, two familiar faces were made present. "Ah, hello Atsuko-san, Rumi-san! So you two are gonna join in the project too?"

That was a silly question, since that was probably why they were there.

For a moment he thought he spotted Aiko there, and before he could even wave, Karou announced that it was time to get together and get to business. Hesitating a bit, he walked up to the big table where everyone was sitting, and took a seat. Well, it was time for him to take his charms out and dazzle the fuck out of these peeps to secure his spot on the film.

"you do not have charms, boy."
Agni was right, he did not have charms.

"Okay, so... I decided to participate to get an actor role." He started, hopefully they would give him a list of available positions.

"I'm fine with anything, I can play a minor or extra role. But I can help with scenes and stuff!" Atsuko cheered and stepped forward. Pulling poor Rumi along with her. Atsuko was really excited for this. But Rumi didn't seem all that thrilled.

"I-I can help edit... And if you guys need more costumes, I sew... And my mom owns a clothing store..." Rumi muttered softly. She was very nervous and shy at the moment.

Atsuko was happy Rumi included the costume thing. It was a great thing for her to do for the movie, and she was positive it would be beneficial.
