At Treo's comment, he looked down at the kimono. Then glanced at Hanako as if asking for confirmation. He didn't....actually look good did he?

"Well you see, I had some assistance with finding mine."

He then turned his attention to Hanako. Well at least she was a familiar, friendly face. Not to say Sayuri and Machi weren't, he was just...way more comfortable with Hanako in the room. It looked like Sayuri and this...Eun? Were the meek type. That was alright. He just wouldn't ask questions about them outright, but would present himself in a friendly manner. He knew from personal experience that social awkwardness was not a fun thing to experience.

"Hello Hanako-san, Kijimuta-san, Ueda-san...Eun-san was it? Pleased to meet those I have not met before, and to those I have I am happy to see you once again. I hope we can all have a wonderful time."

Treo smiled slightly. "Mm. I bought mine on a whim you see. Its very hard for me to find a kimono that fits me, so I snapped up the first one that did. I have a feeling an error occured in the instructions which left this one longer than usual. The girl was the meek type and he had the issue of being quite tall. So Treo scooted himself against one of the walls and tried to stay away from the other girl. He wouldn't want to crowd her.

"Hello everyone. I recently returned and thought I'd check in. As I can see, your club has grown quite large Kijimuta-san."

Machi displayed a small smile to Hanako in gratitude over taking the seemingly most important matter that afternoon into her own hands. However, it soon became forced once she noticed Sayuri went and ignored both of them right out, presumably out of nervousness.

Oh dear.

Damage control was the way to go!

Other than Hanako and herself, from the ones present, Treo had been the only one to frequent the club previously; even if rarely. And so, she decided to let him take the lead.

"Indeed it has. Ashdown-san, perhaps you should be the one to lead the ceremony today? So to introduce the new members to it." That would certainly get rid of a major responsibility while herself and her best friend worked on the main issue. Discreetly, Machi reached for the sign up sheet, tactfully hiding it behind her back.

Then, she stepped towards Sayuri, once everyone headed their way. Hopefully Hanako would keep helping.

"Ueda-san, my sincerest apologies over this... mess." She bowed very lightly, keeping her tone down, and deciding to repeat her earlier question. "Is there anything we can help you with?"

Eun stuck to watching as the greetings went full circle. At least now she had a name for everyone, though she preferred Silver over Ashdown for the foreigner. Something about the nickname amused her.

When Hanako mentioned her name, though, Eun's eyes sprung open, somewhat resembling a deer in headlights. All these people and that girl had to single her out? She was perfectly content with watching the others from her corner.

A bit to her surprise, though, the other girl in question stuck to a corner of her own. It suited Eun perfectly fine, though, being able to stay where she was. There were more important things to worry about, anyway; Silver was about to show them how to perform the ceremony.

Eun couldn't stop a small grin from reaching her face, so she quickly turned her head towards the floor until she managed to compose herself again.

Oh, well! She could have just ignored her offer and stayed away! That was fine too! Hanako was hardly the person to crowd in when she wasn't wanted. So instead she took a few steps back, both literally and figuratively and instead gave Daichi a smile and a nod.

"Oh! Yeah, you look really good! It's kind of rare to see guys wear them these days, though, y'know?" Argh! She was starting to talk like her big sister now that she was in one of her Kimonos. "At least younger ones, know what I mean?"

She was willing to assist if needed. But it seemed like the best thing to do would be to let the club which suddenly swelled into a ton of people the day someone who was afraid of crowds showed up but you know that was fine, there was nothing wrong with tha-

Yeah, she'll just be ready to help and go talk to Daichi.

It was probably best to say that Sayuri's mind was elsewhere, seeking out any other thing to be focused other than a sudden upswing in tea ceremony participants. Though this wasn't aided by kimono conversation and the likes of off the cuff comments such as the tall, silver haired boy having difficulty finding kimonos that fit.

Of course he could say that by being a guy, even if his mass didn't all come from height alone--her own issues with Kimono fittings invariably led to drastic measures with the first thing that worked--and invariably-invariably why was it alwasy something in a weird purple pink fuscia color? Her kimono was almost as bad as those glasses she had needed as a kid.

She was pulled out of these thoughts by the club president coming aside to her with a show of concern and care. But for a reason Sayuri was currently oblivious to. "Oh, it's not that much of a mess," she replied, reading the wrong intention into it and messing with her hair again. "It gets to be like this in between washings though I always try to wash it thoroughly three times a week. Maybe after club, if you knew of a good conditioner--"

Maybe someone could help tell me as to how I look fabulous.

Oh no.

Oh no no no.

Sayuri didn't even want look in the corner again--because unseen to all but her was the giant horned rabbit--or 'antlered' as it kept insisting--decked out in its own long black silky kimono with white little bunny decals.

Gosh there's a lot of people here. They're going to have to put another one of these coffee table doodads together to fit everybody. Or lease out the yoga mats.

Right, while he would have been fine and dandy with talking to these other people? Daichi Nakamura unfortunately suffered still from a level of social awkwardness and as such, made a sound decision that he was going to talk to Hanako. Because well, at least Hanako and he were friends. He was flatly unsure about every other single person in the room. Besides, having some giant in a kimono trying to make small talk might just flat out be an odd situation for Sayuri and Eun. Best to just let everyone else handle those things. So, trying to make himself take up as little room as possible by keeping his distance from the new members and the center of the room. Daichi made his way over to Hanako with a small smile.

"You look good as well Hanako-san. How have you been? Thank you for the compliment."

He doubted any sort of serious or meaningful conversation was going to occur today, but at the very least it was going to be pleasant right?

Treo scratched his head. There had been a lot of people. "...Eh? You want me to do it?" The teen scratched his head. "If you believe I can do it Machi-san, I'll give it a try." Right. Where to begin? It was a mass of rules and he wasn't really sure where to start. This was far from a super formal tea ceremony, right? Maybe it was best just to wait a second.

He looked around trying to think of what to do. Then shook his head. Just make tea. There are too many people here to try and do anything more than that. He began to busy himself with the starting steps. "For the moment, find somewhere to sit and I'll instruct you on how to make the tea itself. I apologise Chairman, but I myself do not know all the steps.

"How does she remember all of this? What happened to sitting at a table and drinking tea..?"

Machi seemed struck with confusion for a few seconds as Sayuri replied, not following the misunderstanding at all. Instead of trying to reading into it, however, due to respect for privacy - for which she had a feeling was about -, the blonde decided to thoroughly explain what she meant.

"I mean, my sincerest apologies for how unexpectedly clumsy this room may look like." She forced the idea with a small smile. "Apologies as well about the misunderstanding. Moving on from that, I assume you are present today to sign up for the club?"

As for Treo not knowing what to do, she had to suppress a sigh full of disappointment. She glanced over her shoulder to the English man, and motioned towards the shelf filled with books of the topic. "If you forgot how to best engage in such a ceremony, I'm sure one of those books will provide the answer for you."

The most things she could get rid of doing at that moment, the better.

Eun sat and watched as the rest of the club went about their business. Hanako and Daichi were off having their own conversation. Sayuri and Machi were talking as well, with Silver interjecting to say that he has no clue what he's doing. It took a lot of will power to keep herself from grinning again.

Granted, she had little to no knowledge of tea ceremonies as well. All she knew is that it was a really formal way to enjoy a drink. Her mother hadn't told her much about it, saying she should let the teachers and other students educate her, and her father certainly didn't give two shits about it. When she asked him, all he did was mumble something about the Japanese doing it wrong.

In the meantime, Eun simply sat and continued watching the others, perfectly content with her current position. She often did the same thing whenever she visited the park, so it was nothing new to her.
