"...does this clockwork hand follow you... or guide you?"
Kyo slipped her phone into her pocket, raising her eyebrow a bit when Kinzaki mentioned feeling awkward talking to Isoroku about her feelings of weakness. "...Eh," she said. "Actually if there's anyone y'don't gotta feel awkward talkin' about that with, it'd be Isoroku. She's, y'know, sorta 'been there done that' with the whole feeling-like-a-useless-damsel-in-distress thing. So I'm sure she understands."

The green-haired girl's eyes went a bit deadpan, and she added: "Every time I try tellin' people this kinda thing I feel like my training n' stuff makes 'em look at me all... easy for you t' say!" She sighed, and rubbed at the back of her head. "It's like they think I've never felt that way before myself. Shit..."

Kyo tapped her finger on her chin, turning her eyes back to Kinzaki. Come to think of it, they'd agreed to work together to figure out a solution to her Dream Catcher problem, but Kyo had gone and won herself an ascension before they'd gotten the chance. Kyo was sort of interested in the Kirihara Corporation's research, though...

"What kinda tool is it?" she asked, quirking her eyebrow up. "...Nothin' dangerous, I hope."

Kinzaki beamed cheerfully when Kyo inquired to her about the tool. "Oh, nothing special. Just a tool that can provide energy boost to its wearer so we can use our Persona efficiently. You can even use your Persona without stopping for a can of energy drink!" she said. "It's the advanced one compared to the last time, but it's still in development. We're still working on to figure out its side-effects and stuff..." she said. Whenever she's talking about thing like this, she seemed to be awfully energetic and spirited.

"And it even as an in-built chip that we can use as an identification tool!" Kinzaki added, making some energetic hand gestures. "Still in development, but I'm sure it'll be a breakthrough if it's done!!" she said. "Hmm... what else should I add? Oh! What about some in-built stuff that connects the wearers to each other?! Oh, that's a clever plan! I should tell father about this!!" now she was just rambling. "Even better, I can even put some gears into it, just to make it look cool!!"

Kyo's eyebrows went up, and she said, "Y'mean like those bracelets y'tried before. Never had a chance t' try one out. Shizuka had one, though, didn't she?"

Kinzaki's enthusiasm stirred something odd in Kyo--an uncomfortable sort of... envy? No, not quite. But she wanted to be able to talk like that about what she was trying to do. Kirihara Corporation's Persona research represented something very special to Kinzaki--her desire to help the Persona-user community, and her own personal efforts to do so. She was seeing it progress, and that was fulfilling... worth celebrating.

Kyo found herself grinning in response to that feeling. Kinzaki's enthusiasm was contagious.

"Don't go over the top about it," Kyo warned without any heat. "Sometimes the best-lookin' stuff is the simpler stuff. If it still a bracelet, or somethin' else?" The girl tapped her chin a bit, and frowned thoughtfully. "Speakin' of makin' useful stuff for users. Have y'ever thought o' lookin' up Naoya t' see if his crafting magic can help?"

"Yeah, it's still a bracelet, but I considered turning it into something different, like an earring or choker," Kinzaki said, her enthusiasm starting to wear off but it's still there. "It it can help others, I'm more than happy to improvise it..." she smiled happily. To see all of those creations to be used by her fellow Persona-users made her feel rather exuberant.

"About Naoya-san..." the heiress tapped her chin with her finger as she recalled her meeting with him at the training center. "Yeah, I met him sometime ago. That flying metal bug of his intrigued me," she said, recalling the Lightning Bug that Naoya owned. "I'm interested to see the mechanism behind that little trinket, but I don't think he'll appreciate it if I ask him for permission to dismantle that thing just to study it..." she sighed.

"The BeeZector?" Kyo asked, rubbing the back of her head. "Ah, yeah. Actually knowin' him he's already tinkered with the thing. It was actually Toru Watanabe's, originally. Or, well, Toru Watanabe had it before Naoya did. No idea where he got it."

The green-haired girl frowned a bit, and looked down at the table. Thinking of that guy... felt disappointing. She recalled the time she'd exchanged PMs with him, briefly. He'd been so unyielding. And she had hoped, when she'd gone out to face the man with Kira and Isoroku by her side, that she might have a chance to talk to him. But talking hadn't happened.

It felt a bit like a failure. And in the end he'd gone on to kidnap Chika and later to drag her into Naoya's final battle with him.

Well, there was no sense dwelling on what she'd never have a redo at. Kyo pushed a grin back onto her face and shrugged. "I was just thinkin' if you guys put your research and Naoya's intentional-metal stuff together it might make for some interestin' things, maybe," she said. "Just a shot in the dark, really. Up t' you if y'wanna give it a shot."

Kyo pushed off the desk and stood up, cracking her knuckles. "'Scuse me, just wanna stretch my legs," she said. "Sittin' a lot in the car on the way here was a pain, y'know? I like t' keep movin'. How 'bout we go out and do somethin'? You ever been t' karaoke? It's good fun!"

Kinzaki noticed the change in Kyo's expression, but she didn't want to inquire more about it, in fear that she might cause the other girl to remember something unpleasant. When Kyo suggested collaboration between her and Naoya, she fidgeted uneasily. Due to her discomfort around people of opposite sex, she didn't think it's a good idea.

"Umm... w-well, I guess I'll think about it, but... umm..." she looked down, her enthusiasm dying. "...Maybe it's a little hard for me..." she forced herself to smile. Well, she had to work on this problem and deal with it, but right now, she had no choice but to live with it a little longer.

Then, Kyo mentioned about having fun. "Karaoke? W-well, I never tried it, but it sounds fun," she said, blinking in curiosity and a sense of intrigue. "I remember seeing people doing that in TV, so I guess it won't hurt to try it once," she smiled. "I'm looking forward to it..." she added.

Kyo's eyes hovered on Kinzaki while she fumbled through her answer about Naoya. Kyo waited for her to perk back up over the issue of karaoke before getting back to it. She grinned a bit and then tilted her head toward the door. "Then let's go get one o' your drivers t' give us a lift and hit up Matechi Street! And don't worry about Naoya for now, although I'm sure he'd get it if ya asked t' keep things like, strictly online- or phone-only, maybe. I mean, he's already friends with one girl who's a bit uncomfortable with guys as it is."

And then something occurred to Kyo like a spark of pure idea-stuff inside a lightbulb inside her head. As she turned toward the door she paused, a strange look coming over her face, and she tilted her head back, looking up at the ceiling. She frowned, and then nodded to herself.

"You would get along with Chika," she said, seeming to decide this on the spot, and sounding so distracted as she said it that it didn't sound like she was directly talking to Kinzaki at all.

"Chika-san, you mean? Hmm... well, I'm looking forward to meet her," Kinzaki said, nodding while smiling. She had to imagine what kind of person Chika was. She had heard enough about her from some other people, but she would rather meet Chika Nakadachi in person rather than imagining her based on rumors and whatnot.

"Alright, I suppose I can do that. I'll tell the driver about it," Kinzaki said before she reached the phone that was on the table and called for the driver. "Hello. It's me, Kinzaki. Sorry for interrupting your business, but..."

And so, after a full minute of conversation with the person Kinzaki was calling, she was done. "Ah, thank you. I know I can count on you," she said before she put down the phone and turned to look at Kyo with a smile. "We already have one driver prepared for this occasion. Are you ready?" she asked the green-haired girl.

Kyo blinked, and looked back at Kinzaki in surprise. "Er--did I say that out loud just now?" she asked in an exasperated voice. "Um... right. Well, anyway. I'll maybe introduce ya sometime."

The green-haired girl waited by the door for Kinzaki to finish arranging things, folding her arms over her chest and leaning back against the doorframe. When the heiress was done, Kyo grinned and pushed away from the wall, giving Kinzaki a heart thumbs-up. "Ready as the day I played my first King's Game," she said. Then she snorted back a laugh and turned to walk out the door, as if there were some private joke behind the remark.

"Let's go have fun and forget the world sort-of-sucks for a few hours! I already know the song I'm pickin' out first~"
