When Rinji started clutching his lower back, Fubuki thought that he might really have his tailbone broken. "See? What did I tell you?! C'mon, let's go and see the nurse already!" she said to Rinji before looking at Yuuki. She was worried that he might end up being crippled due to his supposedly broken tailbone.

"*hefff*" Yuuki exhaled and then crossed to open the door to the nurse's office. As an office it didn't look any different than any other high school nurse station...but then Nagashima didn't have the common type of nurses.

Figures, it would be 'him' which was a decent approximation to the guy who otherwise looked like a balding, overweight middle-aged woman. The nurse where, even if you knew his name, you didn't want to think of it.

The Nurse was reading through a stack of very well-read shōjo at the desk. The trio was introduced with an inquisitive eyebrow.

"This is Akamori-san, a soon to transfer student," Yuuki explained, trying to keep the distaste down in his throat. "He might have damaged his tailbone or pelvic region from falling down the stairs."

The nurse, with half lidded eyes, snapped on a pair of rubber gloves.

Crap...crap, crap, dammit all! What do I do? WHAT DO I DO?!

As Rinji's mind raced to try and come up with a reasonable way to explain his predicament, and most importantly get out of having to be...examined, he came to a drastic conclusion. There was only going to be one way out of this, but he had to act quickly.

"Gouriki-senpai, Fujioka-senpai, I want to thank you both very much for all of the help and concern you've given me today. I'd like to once again assure you that I am quite healthy and nothing is broken. Of course, I don't expect you to believe me. Which is why I'm doing this..."

Backing up to the slightly ajar door, Rinji edged it the rest of the way open with his heel. With a final grin, he bolted out of the office, down the hallway, and out the door (stopping to change his shoes, of course,) sprinting off into the distance, screaming all the way.

Not the best way to start the school year.

Well, at least Rinji would get his tailbone checked, but before anything could be done with it, the boy ran away. Fubuki was confused and looked at Yuuki.

"Umm... what should we do now?" she asked. It should be hard for someone with broken tailbone to run away like that. It should be painful like hell.

Yuuki had a hand over his face, one finger pushing up on his brow while two others pulled down his lower eyelids. It summed up the entirety of his reaction to Akamori's hasty departure. In truth horrifying nurses were not the most frightening thing at Taiyoutono so his spineless absconding wasn't worth it if he truly was transferring here.

"Unless you want to be examined," Yuuki said, disregarding the nurse's presence entirely as no animosity was lost between them, "I suppose we see how far he's gotten. Especially if he does injure something."

Otherwise in the back of his mind Yuuki considered mission accomplished, as he'd only been asked to tour Akamori around. Fujioka could go back to whatever she had been doing.

After exciting the office Yuuki paused to determine which way he'd heard Akamori going, then turned in the direction of the entrance.

Rinji had made a grave mistake. He was pondering this as he stalked his way along the side of the school, keeping to the shadows. It was a mistake that could potentially threaten his health, and future in the school system.

That mistake was...forgetting to get his uniforms and books from the administration's office. Once again, he was grateful to his senpai for the tour, as he crouched just underneath the office window. Knocking on it and politely asking to be let in led to an aide unlocking the window and watching in bewilderment as he filled out the paperwork, got a bag of books, clothes and supplies, received the number and address to a good tailor in town, and then, with plenty of polite bows and gestures of thanks (along with a promise to sweep and clean the floor at a later date), jumped back out the window.

Sneaking back the way he came, Rinji pressed against a wall just in time for the senpai he had escaped to peer out the main entrance. It was a long run from where he was and freedom. With his bag of necessities, he might be slowed down. Only one way to find out, though.

Yuuki and Fubuki would again see Rinji come sprinting down the path, this time thankfully not screaming, but with a bag of school supplies over his shoulder, and any weakness in his legs gone.

Maybe if he laid low for a couple days before school started, they wouldn't drag him to the hospital. It was a slim chance, but Rinji had his hopes. He had a lot of hopes for his time at the school. But at the moment, he was just glad to be free.

((Exit tag. Thanks, you two!))
