Fubuki mentally took note about the meals, thinking about making more researches at home. "I see..." she said, tapping her finger on her chin. Well, she managed to learn something new today, so, yay! She would like to tell her big sister about this through e-mails about her learning something new and refreshing.

"Sensei, umm..." Fubuki spoke to the teacher. "You said that you're an European, right? Which country?" she asked. She walked alongside the teacher and the other girl as she looked at the teacher, wanting to have her question answered.

"Somewhere from the United Kingdom?"

Mia chanced a guess as she lead them to the lunchroom. It was the turn of phrase before 'bloody' it was most often used there, wasn't it? There weren't many English speaking nations in Europe otherwise. Well not exclusively anyways. for all Mia knew she could have been Swiss or from Belgium or something, maybe.

Rozen nodded to Mia. "I'm actually Irish." She said. "I took speech classes to remove my accent, so people could "understand" what I was saying." She muttered. "Growing up in America with an accent is probably almost as bad as growing up there as a physical minority." She looked down for a second. "But that aside, let's get some lunch."

"Oooh~" Fubuki stared at the teacher with curious eyes. She had never seen a foreigner being a teacher at Japanese high school before, and this experience was new to her. Then, when Rozen said that they should have some lunch, the country girl nodded.

"Yes! Let's have some lunch!" she said, beaming cheerfully.

"It wasn't that big a deal, most of the time." She was a pretty visible minority. Her experience about certain parts of California and their numbers of perky, blonde tanned girls was simple. Less than one thought, still more than a few. So she stood out, but given that affluence trumped everything else in her old neighborhood she never felt singled out.

"Well, here we are!" The cafeteria wasn't had to find, they practically had to just follow the smell of the curry and they couldn't have missed it. It had more than its share of people that day, owing to how popular the dish was. "Let's go get ourselves a plate, then."

She wasn't especially hungry before, but plans change when she hadn't eaten since a light breakfast and it was right in front of her.

Rozen was practically licking her lips when they entered the cafeteria. To be honest, as an Irishwoman, she should be more preferential to her home nation's food, but she actually hates potatoes and sausage is, in her opinion a breakfast food. And with her authority as a teacher, the line of students already there, parted like traffic lanes to a police car.

Sighing in frustration, Rozen grabbed a tray and went to lead the two students with her. "Seriously this country." She grumbled.

Fubuki just looked as the students gave the teacher way as she, along with Mia, followed after her. Having a teacher escorting you around school seemed to have some perks, right?

"What's wrong with Japan, sensei?" Fubuki asked curiously after hearing those words from the Irishwoman.

Well, that was something. She was used to only getting that kind of reaction when students knew they were in the middle of doing something they didn't want the teacher to see. It was little stuff like that that reminded Mia it was a completely different world than the one she was used to. She may have only flown over the Pacific, but in a lot of ways, it was as a totally different world.

"Very different than her own experiences, I guess." That was her first speculation, but she probably betrayed a bit too much that she could have emphasized with that thought than she'd like.

…oh well! It was time for lunch! At least that way they'd get right to it without waiting, right? She followed behind Rozen and asked Fubuki with a smile. "So, after lunch, where should we go? I hear there's a nice garden out back, maybe some talk of building a greenhouse if there's going to be a Gardening Club in the future?"

Was that related to what Aleph was doing that one time, she heard? If he wanted to do that, she'd have been game. But realistically she'd only have been able to make spotty attendance unless the club was on days she didn't have Drama or Comedy club…

"Hmm, I've also heard about the student garden that was started out back." Rozen muttered around a mouthful of curry and bread. "I've no interest in sponsoring a club so don't ask me to do it." She mentioned. "I have enough payload with grading the barely legible chicken scratches from my students."
