Hanako wasn't in Photography Club. Kyo was though. She decided to simply enjoy her lunch and…

Wait, she looked up and gave Eun a second look, for some reason she realized when she thought of Kyo. There was that one time she talked to Kyo and she was sure she saw that girl out of the corner of her eye in her homeroom? That was…months ago.

And before that, when she was glaring daggers at Kakeru…there was.

"Ohmigosh! I'm sorry, Choi-san!" Gah! She wasn't new at all! Since when did Hanako get so self-centered? "Sorry! I guess you're in my homeroom and I didn't notice! Please! Forgive me!"

Wait, wait what? Takeru felt a familiar hot shame wash over him. Eyes nearly bugging out of his head at the stupid mistake that he'd made. How could he have been so silly as to not think that maybe she'd been his senpai as well? Best he could hope to do now was apologize right?

"Oh uh, sorry Choi-senpai! I didn't know!"

Right, she'd brought up photos. This was good, photos he could talk about all day long.

"Well, pretty much anything really. Landscapes, people or whatever. I like taking pictures of everything."

Just like that the boy was full of cheer again.

The two's flustering over not noticing her made her feel rather bad about her inner rant. It's fine, it's fine Eun repeated in an attempt to calm them down. Besides, I didn't even know you were in my class until just now anyway, Hanako... Ooh, that might mean I could get her to bring me some more lunches! A slight grin appeared on Eun's face, but quickly faded. As if I could ask for something like that...

I don't stand out much anyway, Ito-san, so it's fine she insisted one last time.

Takeru's response did interest her a little bit though. Pictures of everything? Oh I swear if he has any of me I'm going to smash his- wait, if he did, he probably would have recognized me. Okay, settle down now, let's just try to keep it going...

Do you have any with you? she asked, still thinking about ripping up any photo that had even a strand of her hair in it.

"Oh, sure, sure!" She felt a little better about it, but it also reminded her that she really, really needed to be more aware of what was going on around her. That would probably start by just stopping and really observing.

With that in mind, she enjoyed her lunch and listened as the other two discussed photography.

"Actually, yeah! I've got some right here..."

He fished some photos he'd had on him of the landscape of Nagashima out of his bag. Pulling them out and distributing them between the two girls to observe. A mix of areas and times were obvious. Some at day, dawn, dusk and night. Some outside, others inside. He really loved those photos. Then again he loved all of his photos!

"So what do you think senpai?"

Eun began flipping through the photographs, carefully studying any people she noticed to make sure it wasn't her. The more she went through, however, the less she studied and the more she appreciated.

I never really saw the city this way before... I thought it was just a massive dump of buildings for people to gather in like bees to a hive, but it actually looks rather nice. Completely different to the middle of nowhere, but different isn't necessarily bad... Ooh, I like this one. Reminds me of that field we'd play with the livestock in... Eun mused as she lingered on a sunset photo of the park, her thoughts beginning to come out as a soft whisper. She was too engrossed in her memories to remember she had company.

Hmmm, looked like Takeru had an eye for that sort of thing. Hanako wasn't sure, she was still a total layman to photography but she really liked what she saw. Takeru looked pretty talented at that, as far as she could tell.

"Not bad, Yamamoto-san!" Though at Eun's mention she looked up. "Oh? You grew up on a farm? My grandparents had a farm! I visited there a lot as a kid!" Well they weren't exactly salt of the earth simple farming folk. It was more like in their little town they owned the farm…and several other nearby adjacent small businesses.

"Hey you know what? Keep it Choi-senpai. No really it's fine. I got a ton of them anyway."

See, Takeru was nice most of the time. Some may even say he was rather cheery! What was one photo among a multitude of others that he had? Especially if it reminded someone of a fond memory that they had. Nothing but a teensy tiny little sacrifice to be made if someone else was happy too!

"Aww, thanks Ito-senpai. That means a lot to me."

He felt silent as she brought up farming. He himself had never actually been on a farm, or really knew anything about farming anyway. Oh well, it just meant he had an opportunity to finish his meal!

Eun's head jerked up from the photo when she was suddenly addressed. Oh god, did I say that out loud? I totally said that out loud. Shit, what do I do now... I can't just ignore them but I don't want to say too much but... Gah, screw it! She gave me a lunch, I can at least talk about the farm.

Thank you very much she said to Takeru, handing back the rest of the photos before turning towards Hanako. Yes, my parents both ran a farm. I mostly took care of the animals, though, they didn't trust me enough with the crops she explained, slightly chuckling. It was a lot of fun, although we left it and moved here a couple of years ago when my father found a new job.

Trying to sound all proper and shit is tiring... I hope they're good with just that...

"Ah, did you enjoy it?" Hmm, she was beginning to imagine a family farm. Her mind's eye was clouded by her own experiences, which was much more of a business than what Eun meant, likely. Still, it was good enough for her.

"Well, I hope the city's been good to you too!"
Maybe, she and Machi could eat in the lunchroom more often?
