WHERE THE FUCK IS MARIO
Ayane shook her head. "No no! Its not that its weird... its just like, you know... I made a promise about love and I'm kinda... handsy." She blushed slightly and looked away for a moment. "Its more likely to be me who makes a wrong advance."

As he fell silent she sighed. "I just don't want to see the people I care about get hurt and if Ky-chan thinks you're good enough to train, that makes you good enough for me." The snakegirl nodded slowly. "Anytime, I'm always free usually."

Oh so she was that kind of person huh? Strange, that sort of woman was usually encountered at work and was probably at least double Ayane's age if not more. He ran a hand through his hair and grinned.

"Oh it's alright. I deal with people like that at my job all the time. I work part time at the maid cafe, and well I usually just toss them right out if they start getting that way. Can't have an uncomfortable work environment now can we? I'm very firm when it comes to that sort of thing. So don't worry about it."

Right, so she didn't to see Kyo hurt and it was possible him getting hurt would cause that. Well she was a little late to the party on that one. He was pretty sure the photos of him stabbed, bloody and dying were still up on bedlam. Not that he blamed her for not actually caring about him. He didn't even care about him. He hadn't done enough good things to matter, and he wasn't sure if he ever would.

"I'd definitely like conversing with you more Aya. Having one of the more experienced users to speak with is definitely an enlightening experience."

"The Maid Cafe? Oh my, aren't you a sweet thing. I've never actually been to that place. But its not like I do it out of lust or anything, just... I dunno. I like to touch people. When I was little, I didn't have anyone, so I kinda yearn for it."

The Snakegirl chuckled. "You're not bad yourself. Its refreshing to speak with someone who isn't Ran-kun. I love him and all but I can't listen to my doggy bark all day and not want to hear something else for a change. You probably shouldn't think too much of me because I reached the third tier though. What I did to get here don't make me proud, that's for sure."

"Lonely huh? Yeah well hey, if you ever need a hug or want to give someone a hug. Feel free to give me one alright? I give you my explicit verbal permission for hugging."

Just another good deed to do. Besides he knew the bite that loneliness had. The ache that a person felt from it. Having himself known it for a while. It was unfortunate that anyone had to deal with it as a child though.

"Well you're a third tier now whether you like it or not. I suppose if you go about trying to make up for the mistakes you've made than you can be proud of that fact."

Dwelling on the past was supposed to be his job after all.

She didn't say anything because as soon as the boy finished she was hugging him again. The warmth of another person against you.. yeah. Hugging people was great. After a few moments she let go and smiled rather brightly.

Ayane looked at her feet. "...I dunno what to say. I'm not exactly like all the other third tier people because ever since I was a kid I was strong. I just got strong really fast. Its just... what I did to get here, I hurt a lot of people. I did a lot of stuff I ain't proud of. So I don't need to be pompous, or think of you guys as inferior."

She looked up and smiled. "Cuz I ain't no saint, you know what I mean?"

Hugging was definitely good. He in fact, really did like hugging. Maybe Ayane was over exaggerating when she claimed to get handsy with people. He was definitely less surprised this time and eagerly returned the hug. Once again releasing as she did.

Strange how she seemed to obsess over her mistakes. Could it be that they were in some way kindred spirits? He gave a supportive smile and reached his hand out to give her shoulder a light squeeze.

"Hey well you aren't the only one who's made mistakes. Truly, you're looking at someone who's made more than his fair share of mistakes right now. So if you ever need to speak to someone, i'm here."

She jumped somewhat at the sudden contact, but not in any negative way. More surprise than anything else. "I'm not trying to brag but the mistakes I made weren't exactly swapping salt for sugar in my morning coffee."

Before she knew it she was hugging him again. It wasn't a love thing, it was just talking about her issues made her want to reach out and touch someone. It had been so long when she was younger, the first human contact she had when she lost her parents was her hands around someone's throat.

"I just... I don't like remembering it."

She let go slowly and looked at her hands. "What I tried to do wasn't right. I guess I just... try to block it out sometimes."

Daichi decided to give her a pat or two on the back as soon as they were hugging again. That would surely provide the woman some more comfort right?

"Well as long as you recognize what you did was wrong and try to correct the mistake, there isn't much else to do. You did something wrong, so do something right in return. That's what i'm trying to do anyway."

He still had so much to make up for though. The guilt still so crushing on his soul.

"Well I know it hurts a lot. I mean, you don't have to ever talk to me about it. Just know that i'm here if you decide to."

Ayane chuckled. "I did something right and it just went to more wrong places. I guess its true, sometimes no matter what you do, it all just goes wrong in the end." She gave a heavy sigh, feeling his patting and relaxing somewhat.

The snakegirl shook her head. "I just worry, you know? Ky-chan doesn't know everything and how would she look at me if I told her that? Before I got injured, she was like a little sister to me. These days I don't know how twisted up she's become. I just feel like... she wouldn't see me the same anymore. Selfish I know but... but.... killing people isn't something you want to tell your little sister."

She folded her arms, but looked all around uncomfortable.

"I have an idea. How about we go see her together? It should be much easier than going to see her alone."

Helping Ayane was just another way that he could do something good. So why shouldn't he do it? It was obvious that she and Kyo had a close bond, so as Kyo's student it was his responsibility to help watch out for people she cared about right? He gave a sigh and a shrug.

"Well don't believe everything you hear either. If things go wrong, there's always a way to make up for it."
