Daichi noticed the gesture, and sat down next to the young woman. Taking a similar approach to the volume of his own voice. After all, he knew he wouldn't like people chattering away during his practice.

"Oh? I think that would be fun, I mean if it was alright with the both of you."

He wouldn't want to intrude on the couple in a moment. Then the reaction to the mere mention of tea. It really was rather enthusiastic, but enthusiastic was good! That meant that they were probably on good terms! Especially since apparently he'd just been invited to join the tea ceremony club? Or was it more of a one time thing?

"I would really like that Kijimuta-san. Before it happens though? What sort of tea should I purchase? I doubt both of us absolutely love chai tea. So I should probably get some of your preferred variety. Oh and how much?"

Right, that love part was probably nothing but a nicety! Absolutely nothing to get himself flustered over! Besides, now he'd finally made nice with Yuki's fiance and Hanako's friend! Which hopefully meant they were all friends now. Or at least, friendly to one another.

"I will let Yuki-kun know of it. Gratitude."

Machi's ever so charming smile seemed to falter just a bit at the mention of him bringing tea over to the club, and she shook her head slightly - it was not necessary.

"We have all sorts of leaves in the club room, you will be free to choose once there. No need to bring anything." What kind of host would the blonde be if she didn't provide the blend itself?

"If you want, bring a friend along? I would be happy to serve you both." Then she paused while remembering something. "Would you prefer a formal or informal setting?"

Wearing a kimono during Tea Ceremony meetings was a thing, after all.

"Oh no, i'm really the one that should show gratitude. After all, he's offered to teach me how to cook."

No payments required either. It was refreshing to have someone so kind around. Of course, then there was the skating as well! Oh, well it was a good thing he wouldn't have to go out and buy tea either! Not that he actually had an issue with that, but at least he was going to save money!

"I...suppose I would prefer formal for the first time? Except I can't really afford formal clothing...."

There it was again. The constant lack of money. Even with his job at the maid cafe. He would be lying if he didn't want to have someone to blame for it. People really should appreciate good things. Parents, having a surplus amount of money. All things Daichi wished he could have. He'd also entertained the thought about asking along Hanako. Because hey, they were mutual friends and that would be good right? Except...well he figured that any sort of opportunity to actually strike up a friendship with Machi would be forcefully shoved aside in favor of the two of them bonding.

"Perhaps just the two of us this first time?"

"Oh, really?" Machi seemed honestly interested in the cooking endeavor. She and her soon to be husband developed what was akin to a rivalry in the mansion's kitchen, constantly trying to outdo the other. Of course, Yuki had raw talent, but Machi had more time of practicing it. "That's fantastic."

All in all, it was pretty evened out.

"I can get you your kimono, if you want." Money wasn't exactly a concern to the heiress of the Kijimuta burden. "If you want, I'll take you out to shop for it when we leave? My treat, as an apology for having overreacted back then."

At the next request, Machi felt somewhat apprehensive. "I don't think that is possible... My only free time to go to the club room is either during the meeting itself, or during lunch." She smiled rather apologetically. "At lunch, it's easy for someone to come find me so I get busy immediately, and during the club hours, there's always someone else present. Apologies..."

Not only had she offered to buy him something, but she'd even offered to take him shopping for it? That was...unexpected. People really weren't willing to be charitable with their money. Even when their source was extremely vast like the Kijimuta's was. At least, that was what his impression was of the wealthy after meeting that boy. Subaru Suzuhara, apparently the Kirihara's own personal butler.

Not that he could actually judge the job itself. Seeing as how he dressed as a butler often, and in fact? He may not have been that good looking of a guy, but he was pretty sure at least a handful of customers had ogled him.

"Oh i'm so sorry Kijimuta-san. I didn't realize you were inviting me to the club."

Was she? Or was it more of a way of trying to get on good ground for each of them? Daichi didn't exactly know who was in the club. Still...it could in fact be a fun time. Not to mention, the free beverages!

"I uh...I would appreciate that very much. See I...don't really have any sort of 'fashion sense' as people put it. So having someone else along would help tremendously."

"Inviting...?" Oh... OH! The girl hadn't initially intended to do so - not many were even interested in sitting with a kimono on and talk about tea for hours on end, much to her displeasure - but she could certainly twist it that way! Machi let a wider smile play on her lips, ever so charming.

"Your company would be very much appreciated, Nakamura-san. Only two or three people are in the club at a time, so it serves for a good hour of chatter and hanging out."

She nodded knowingly, finding it depressing that monetary difficulties were a thing. Though, she wasn't above offering help when needed. "Alright, we will get you one later. Just after Kendo finishes up. Maybe a dark green theme would be the way to go...?"

"It definitely sounds like it's going to be fun."

Here he was, discussing such small things as a kimono that was going to be purchased for him. Even a fickle detail like the color! He wondered just how many people were in this club. He doubted it was the same mammoth size as kendo. Then again he had always done better in smaller groups.

"Green? I suppose, if that's what you think would work Kijimuta-san."

Like Burai from Zyuranger?

It was undeniably a nice change of pace though. Having time away from the ruins, shadows, attempts on his life. Having some tiny spots of...normalcy? No, that wasn't the right term. More like tiny spots of happiness. Yes, that worked much better.

Score!

"Excellent. It is settled, then." Another member for the club! Machi felt like patting herself on the back. It was growing steadily! And with most people there being her friends, it would only make the atmosphere more cheerful and pleasing.

She briefly wondered if Hanako would be attending next time.

"I will be waiting for you during the next meeting then, Nakamura-san. Do you know where the club's room is located?"

"I suppose it mustn't be that difficult to find."

That was his way of saying no, he did not. He was a little apprehensive though, would there be anybody else he knew there? Oh, perhaps Yuki would be attending! The young couple must want to spend time together, right?

"After all, there are only so many rooms in the building right?"

There was that masculine pride acting up again. He really needed to work on humbling himself. Even after having been thoroughly beaten by Machi.

"Directions would probably be helpful though Kijimuta-san."

That hadn't even been that hard! How was it that he'd needed to admonish himself before asking such a tiny thing? Especially in comparison to her buying him clothing?

"I will be happy to take you to the club room before we depart. Perhaps due to such you may check the club out first?" Just as Machi was about to glance at a clock hanging near the ceiling of the opposite wall in that training area, she noticed people were stopping their matches, and leaving.

It seemed like it was time.

"Wait for me by the club's entrance, alright?" The girl got up, bending at the knees only once again after picking up her equipment. "I will be back out shortly, alright? Now, if you'll excuse me."

The blonde soon disappeared into the female locker room where she was presumably tackled by Momoko. A quick shower and some changing later, she was back in her Taiyoutono uniform, camping out at the entrance to wait for what could be a new blossoming friendship.
