Ah, poo. They were going back out anyway. Aw, come on. Master loves drama during a ruins trip, don't ya, dude? "Ok, then." Aleph said, shrugging. He then proceeded to follow the rest of the group out of the ruins. He looked at everyone and smiled. "You know? I think that actually went super well, you know?" |

Kakeru was the resident expert, that meant that it was his call how well they truly did or not. For the record, Mia thought they did really good, but she wasn't going to let that get in the way of hearing just how Kakeru thing they functioned together, what they did well, and what needed improvement. Instead she just went with the others towards the exit, that threshold where they wouldn't have to worry about being attacked by Shadows, at least. As they headed that way, Suzu would have been the first to sense the three Shadows: One was called a Noisy Hablere, a second a Nuclear Turret. The final one was called a Tacks Man. The trio of Shadows were between them and the exit, and there was no mistake, they were heading right for them. The others would soon notice hints of their presence, like a constant sound of smacking lips, or someone slurping, or sucking their teeth, and it was getting closer. "Should we be concerned with that, Suzu?" Edited by Nonsequitur, Feb 1 2014, 01:50 AM.

As they walked towards the exit, they found themselves facing the trio of Shadows. They didn't seem to be strong enough, and the group might have no problem dealing with them, but Kakeru thought that they didn't have to deal with them for the time being, after dealing with the group of Shadows earlier. And so, Kakeru stepped forward, putting on his mask. As soon as he put on his mask, mist started to form around them, and temperature would slightly drop by a few degrees. "Alright, this time let me handle 'em..." Kakeru said. The visor of his mask glowed eerily, releasing some kind of sickly blue light that if anyone dared to look into it, they would find themselves feeling some kind of primitive emotion that always existed in the hearts of men; fear. Soon after that, he summoned his Persona, Tsukuyomi-no-Okami, and the armored Persona emerged, materializing in the air above Kakeru. "Mind Charge..." Kakeru muttered before his body glowed slightly. With that spell, his mind became focused and his next magic attack would be amplified by a significant degree. Meanwhile, Karma crossed his arms and made a face. "Show-off." |

"Yes, yes we should." Suzu said immediately. The assortment of weaknesses and strengths was far too diverse for them to deal with effectively at once; not to mention they didn't seem like weakling low tier one Shadows. Considering they were worn out from the previous fight, they should probably avoid those enemies. "I can take us another w--..." Suzu's face went slightly deadpan as the beast of the group decided to Mind Charge. She doubted that, with his level of skill, such a thing was entirely necessary in the first floor. "...Or we can just go Rambo on their asses I guess." "Oh man, gonna get to see him in action!" Toki spoke out loud to himself, visibly excited to finally see a powerful user do his thing in that place. He had never witnessed such before; part of him was jealous as well for not being in that level yet. |

And suddenly, just as the group was about to leave the place, they were soon accosted by three Shadows. One giant floating mouth, another a little turret with nuclear symbols on it, and the last one which looked like some kind of father-ish stereotype. Aleph watched in nonchalant as Kakeru summoned his Persona. Everyone else was pretty worn out from the last fight, so they might as well let Kakeru get the ones in front of them out of the way. "Eh." He said, shrugging. "We are kinda trying to leave, so we might as well..." |

Meanwhile, as Karma prepared for a large strike, the Shadows came into view, and noticed them. They did not flee. Nor did they waste much time. Mia had the exceptionally poor luck to realize her Rakukaja's protection lapsed, just as the strange looking Shadow called the Tacks man perforated her torso with a torrent shot. Given the nature of her weaknesses, the result was spectacular, bloody and left her on the ruins floor, slipping quickly into unconsciousness. The Hablerie struck quickly with a Mazan spell, a sudden sharp burst of pure force energy attacked everyone present in the group, and left an already badly Mia rolling away from it on the floor by it's sheer pushing power. The Turret cast Rakukaja upon itself, but took no further action. |

It was just too quick. Before Karma could realize it, Mia had already fallen down, unconscious after being hit by one of the Shadows. He took several seconds to realize what's going on. "Mia?" she was beside him when she was hit. "Mia?!" he said her name before he kneeled down and checked her injuries. "Mia?!!" she was unconscious and was bleeding. Then he was pushed back by Mazan. "Gkhh!" he almost fell to his side, but he immediately got up after that. He was still too shocked to do anything. Kakeru realized what just happened as he withstood the Mazan. "Shit..." still, something needed to be done. He immediately released Megidola at full power, intending to wipe out all the enemies at once. Thanks to his Mind Charge, the intensity of the Almighty spell would be amplify by a significant degree. "Someone look after her!!" he shouted to the others in the group. Once he's done with the Shadows, he would do something about Mia. "...Mia..." Karma's hands were stained by Mia's blood. This time, he realized that there was nothing he could do to her. Even with his Persona, he didn't know how to heal other people. He was too shocked to move aside to allow the healer to heal Mia's injuries. |

...Or that could happen instead. It was frightening how quickly everything happened; if Kakeru hadn't been there, they surely would've been wiped out. Their leader was thrown out of commission immediately, given the ridiculous amount of vulnerabilities, before anyone could react proper. Both Toki and Suzu struggled back to their feet after the Mazan blast, which made them end up a couple of meters away from their original position. At least they weren't injured from the previous battle, which made them able to endure the pain of the spell in favor of survival. As Kakeru dealt with the Shadows and Karma panicked, it was up to Suzu, Toki, and Aleph to hold the fort. Assist Kakeru, take Karma away or heal Mia? The redheaded girl quickly focused on scanning the targets. Kakeru was preparing an almighty spell, which would probably make the enemies disappear; they couldn't take any chances, however. One resisted wind, so Toki would be no good; another resisted physical and fire, Aleph would be no good. The final one resisted everything. 'Well, fuck me.' Girly, from that fight back there, you got a new spell, y'know? Also, I'll pass on that. 'Of course I don't, you didn't tell me, you retard!' As Undine relayed information on how Mahaqua worked, Suzu decided to take it upon herself to go to the frontlines. Only one of them resisted a water spell, plus she could use two elements; and finally... "Oi, Aleph!" She didn't even care about the nickname for once, pointing quickly towards the unconscious Mia. "Spam healing shit! Toki, do somethin' useful!" The girl then stepped forward - a bit behind Kakeru, but effectively between the enemy and their fallen ally. "Y'ain't gettin' past me." She muttered under her breath as Undine took form outside her mind, and blasted a Mahaqua at the same time as Kakeru's spell. Sure, her technique was extremely weak in comparison, but she didn't exactly care. She never thought crap through anyway. "...R-Right!" There was only one thing for him to do. Barely managing to take control of his own nerves as Glasyabo thrived with the pure chaos of the situation, he quickly rushed towards Karma. "Hey, dude! You're in the way, get off!" It pained him deeply to do so, but Toki crouched right behind Karma before attempting to hold him by the shoulders and take him away from that area, so Aleph could take care of their knocked out companion. "It sucks, but bear with me here, dude!" Edited by Natscookie, Feb 7 2014, 10:52 AM.

Soon, the group was attacked and Mia was suddenly knocked unconscious by the fatherly-looking Shadow, bleeding on the floor. Oh shit. "Mia-san!" Aleph cried out, then turned to help her. "Hang on--Ugh!" He was quickly cut off by the force of the Mazan spell that blasted everyone, including Aleph. Kakeru had already fired a really powerful Almighty spell, which would probably wipe out all of the Shadows in a split second. So, consequentially, Aleph didn't need to do anything on the offensive side. Aleph nodded at Suzu's order then quickly rushed over to Mia's side. Unfortunately, Karma was also beside Mia while Toki was trying to get him out of the way. Shaking his head, Aleph started casting Dia on Mia continuously anyway. |

The Shadows? They did not last long. One could even have argued the Mind Charge was overkill, they were blown away quickly and left no trace of anything behind. Meanwhile, for Mia, she fought to remain somewhat conscious rather than slip into oblivion. In the moment before help could have arrived, Her own Persona appeared before her, and touched her brow. 'Feh. Is that all? If you allow yourself to die so easily. I don't see how you resemble me at all!' Before Aleph could act, Lif administered a Dia spell. It wasn't much on its own, but combined with the other, she wasn't bleeding further and she was able to hover above unconsciousness. For all that talk of being a good leader, she was just window dressing, wasn't she? |
