More pressure, more shredding, more pain and more blood. And that wasn't the worst of it, despite all his effort, he wasn't going forward anymore, he was being pulled backwards. At that rate the best he could have hoped for would have been to have the leg torn off, at worse? Dragged back and that was that.

"Fine, you bastard. Fine, Fine!" He said as he reached for his sword. Perhaps if he channeled a Hama into his sword and cut the wire…? No, that might work, and it might work. It was tenacious and would likely just replace that tendril with another. On the other hand, it was dumb as a sack of bricks.

…limbs could be grown back And that stupid bastard might have have wasted more time like it did against the Sorcerer if it suddenly had one.

"You want the leg that bad, you damn bastard? FUCKING HAVE IT!"

A quick, sudden and precise slash, as close to a neat amputation at knee as he could have hoped for with a katana, and the tearing surely did the rest. He was ready for that, as soon as he saw what used to be a part of his body ripped off he reacted with a Dia spell to staunch bleeding as much as he could, and with the remaining three, scrambled up back to the relative safety of the outside world as fast as possible.

Natsumi's face paled when Seiji brought the sword and cut off his fucking leg: sure, it could be regrown with the help of magic, and it wasn't the first time she saw someone lose a limb in the Ruins - she stopped a flashback of Chika getting her arm cut off from coming to the forefront of her mind -, but still, he'd cut off his goddamn leg without a second of hesitation. She helped Seiji get through the door, ignoring the trail of blood his cut-off limb left behind him.

She caught a glimpse of Seiji's leg starting to erupt with black ichor as the Giant brought it back towards itself: the black goo seemed to build itself into lenghts of barbed wire, as if the Shadow was using it as fuel to regenerate itself - no, not almost as if. It was using the leg to rebuild its lost parts back.

"...I'm asking for help..." she said as she took out her cellphone and posted a healing request on Bedlam, trying to find a position in which her injured back wouldn't hurt too much...

Well, as far as Seiji was concerned, it was the best choice at the time, better that he get maimed than killed. And far better than leaving Natsumi to her own devices while just he got away. Even if he didn't know it could have been easily regenerated with a Diarahan spell he…didn't have it in him to just abandon someone even if it meant risking his on life.

He slowly nodded in response to her suggest. Another Dia spell was used to hopefully stop blood loss completely and dull the pain a bit. "Just don't…don't mention my name in… blotter." All it would have done was upset Suzu.

He adjusted his glasses and stared up at the sky. It was never so beautiful to him as it was now. Still, that escape was costly,

…one could say it nearly cost him an arm and a leg.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAH!

They wouldn't have to wait for a long time because fifteen minutes after the request was made, someone showed up. It was Isoroku Mayoi, a part-time model and one of the regular healers in the community. It seemed that she was on her way back from her work, judging from her rather stylish clothes, when she noticed the healing request in the blotter. She was catching her breath as she approached the entrance, indicating that she might have been running on her way to this place.

"Ah, sorry for the wait,"
Isoroku said, smiling apologetically to both Seiji and Natsumi. It seemed that someone losing limbs was a normal occurrence now. "A leg, huh?" she approached Seiji before she briefly checked the stump. "Okay, please stay still. It's gonna sting a bit, but I promise I'll restore your leg in no time..." she smiled before she conjured her mask and summoned her Persona, Penitent Gretchen.

The white witch materialized and held out both gloved hands, releasing some kind of warm light onto Seiji. It was a Diarahan. If the boy didn't move much, his missing tissues, muscles and bones would be slowly restored. Isoroku closed her eyes as she focused herself to heal Seiji.

Natsumi let Isoroku do her job as a healer when she arrived, simply greeting her with a friendly "Yo, Isoroku." She noticed that the girl had clothes on that were quite a bit more sharp than usual, and for a moment the brunette found herself looking at this feminine body with the tiniest bit of envy. When she realized that she'd been staring at Isoroku, though, she stopped and brought her attention bck to the scenery before her.

"My back got injured down there. I could use a healing spell, too." she said after a couple of instants, wincing as her spine sent waves of pain rippling through her entire body.

"Yeah ah…mmm." He was just going to say what she did, but Natsumi articulated it better than he could have anyhow. He noticed who had come to help them and…well, this was the second time that she came to his rescue, isn't it?

At least this time he wasn't quite doing something as pathetic as failing to run from an overgrown mouth at least.

There was pain, he kind of expected that. When the damn Shadow got a good hold on his leg, there was a lot of pain, and of course it wasn't exactly a picnic to escape that, either. Still, even expecting it did nothing to dull the pain of raw, suddenly active nerves registering just how much was missing before she was done.

He just gritted his teeth, and shut his eyes tightly. It was almost over, just a bit more and he'd have a proper and functional leg again…

"Th-thanks Mayoi-san, I really appreciate the help."
He didn't especially care what she was wearing, now that the worse was over she looked great no matter what to Seiji her and her Diarahans.

Isoroku continued to pour more Diarahan on Seiji in order to restore his missing leg. At this rate, his leg would start to regain its shape, with flesh and muscle, but there would be no skin just yet. The warmth from the healing spell could at least alleviate the pain from the restoration.

"Ah, I'll help you to heal your back, Natsumi-san. Please let me finish this first," she told Natsumi as she continued to pour the healing spell onto Seiji. "Please think nothing of it, Seiji-san. I'm just doing my job..." she said.

The image of Penitent Gretchen flickered above her. Well, she still had enough energy to heal both Seiji and Natsumi, so she wouldn't have to worry about losing her energy.

Natsumi only gave a light nod, and rested her back against the wall behind her, though she made sure that not too much weight was put on on her injured spine. She took her cellphone out of her pocket as well as a pair of ear plugs, and put some relaxing music on - it'd help make the wait a little better, she guessed.

The pile of flesh and bone below his knee was once more resembling a foot of all things. And would you look at that! Sensation besides stinging pain! He dared to wiggle his new toes and…tried not to contemplate too much just how eerie this whole thing was.

On a level, he was expecting shit to get weird, he did cut off his own leg to survive another day. Now that he had a new one it was so…bizarre, of course from the knee down past the fringe of bloodied, frayed denim his new foot was completely unclothed and no shoe was there.

The second thing he noticed was muscle confusion was definitely a thing. His brain just couldn't seem to make sense of all those brand-new nerves that haven't had a chance to figure out how to move all those muscles in his foot just right yet.

Still, he'd survive! He'd walk again! And it was all thanks to Isoroku. "No, really, I should thank you. I shouldn't take something like this for granted…"

Even though he kind of did. He totally did. At least he wasn't going to make a habit of it. Instead he sat up and prepared to watch as she helped Natsumi next.

Now that Seiji's foot was restored, Isoroku slowly stopped her healing spell and wiped the beads of sweat off her forehead. Then she smiled at Seiji. "Alright, it should be done. But it'll take a while before you can use your leg properly. Just take it a rest in the meantime," she reminded Seiji before she looked at Natsumi.

"So, you're next," the part-time model went closer to Natsumi before she kneeled beside her. "How's your back?" she asked, preparing herself to use Diarahan on the brunette girl.
