"Well yes, when people commit crimes the normal course of action is to arrest them." Seiji spat out sarcastically. He also added flatly. "Fuck fighting Quantum Anomalies." "Yeah, I'm not messing with those again if I don't have to either. The novelty wears off fast." She shrugged her shoulders and comment on Nishiyo's. "You think I like that they're coming? Knowing how how that rotten father of yours raised you you think I'm going to let them take her back? I'd kill the whole Sadako clan myself before I let it come to that." It wasn't just an idle boast, if it meant making sure Etsuko would have never wind up like Nishiyo in any way…it would have been worth it. "Oh, FYI don't have to tell me what you're planning, I already have a good guess. … should we go after Ursas instead then?" "Whatever, Senpai." His data confirmed everything Nishiyo said as one had to do when dealing with lying liars who lied all the time. He might as well have put his two cents in too. "You know? Sadako? I didn't have anything personal against you before. I just didn't wanna live in a world where people can murder and ruin lives with impunity. I mean obviously now I wish nothing but pain, misery, and heartbreak and that everything you touch turns to ash, but that was after you had to bring Chika into it." So, it was time to go kick around some Ursas, unless a third option was provided. Fortunately it seemed to be coming their way, as if some sort of tiny cosmic joke: "…something called a Hanging Judge, two of them, in fact. They're heading right this way." He looked to Nishiyo to confirm what his readings were. Edited by Nonsequitur, Dec 21 2013, 02:22 AM.

Konami stared at Nishiyo. "If the code were still being followed, I would cut you down where you stood, Sadako." Konami said. Her hand still floating over her sword hilt. The contempt in her words so strong that it overrode her conditioning to use her only suffix. "But it is not. And the effort would be wasted down here where no one would see." She said, as she looked away from Nishiyo, when Seiji mentioned a couple shadows were heading for them. "Is there anything in particular we need to know to fight these things?" She asked. |

Nishiyo turned and took one look at Konami, one incredulous look. She frowned, then said: "Weren't ya listenin'? Blades don't work." She scoffed and turned back around, focusing her scan on the approaching Judges. "Psh. The help these days, I'm tellin' ya..." A pause. "Well, that's nice. Can't get their weaknesses right away, dunno if you're any better at that... oh, I can do that now, by the way. How nice, we're weak t' each other, Fujiwara! Maybe we should elope." Then, looking toward Hanako and putting on a vicious grin. "If you've got a guess, have your guess, then. I'll tell ya if it's hot or cold." |

"Uh-huh. I know, you couldn't tell whether or not things were users, non-users, or Shadows when you tried to frame up Kyo Charinko for that murder." He answered distantly. "But I'm not a wealthy creep, so I'm afraid I'm not your type. So sorry." The information came in. "…weak to fire, resistant to light, dark, physical. No other noteworthy strengths or weaknesses." Soon after the first of the two hooded executioners made of rope appeared. and it began casting a Mudoon directed at Seiji When it's intention was clear, Hanako called out and was cut short: "Get be-hurk!" The second made it's appearance, and one of the five ropes it's hands ended in made it's way around the pale-haired girl's neck. It dragged her aside, which had a side effect of ruining Hanako and Seiji's strategy for covering for each other's weaknesses. The intense pulse of darkness hit him dead on, rotting away clothing and flesh and leaving a bloody abscess at the contact point on his chest and shoulder. Well of course they had Mudo spells! |

"Ito-sama!" Konami said as she ran after the other user. Her hand now clamped onto her sword's handle as she fully intends on severing the rope around Hanako's neck. When she got close enough, she narrowed her eyes, mentally focusing on the task at hand. "I must ask you keep as still as you can, Ito-sama." Konami said as, with a small click, her sword whistled free from her scabbard.

"Hm, that's annoying. They're strong 'gainst the only stuff I got. And I ain't even replaced that sword Wei took from me last time. Geh..." Nishiyo said dully, looking down at her hands. She considered them for a moment, and then she shrugged, skipping backward from the approaching Shadows. "Guess I'm playin' support this time. Don't y'all just feel so safe and secure with me at your backs~?" Hanako's little mishap and the subsequent Mudoon spell that blasted Seiji were both met by a sigh from Nishiyo. Seeing that Konami seemed to have Hanako taken care of, Nishiyo held a hand out toward Seiji, casting Dia to close the wound. |

Rather than respond to her, he focused instead on the Shadows. He could have mentioned how he'd sooner bleed out than accept help from her, but that was a bit too dramatic for Seiji. He focused on the one he was stuck engaging with, a sudden flare of light from a Frei spell blasted back at the Hanging Judge that cast Mudoon on him. He did however, have something to say about what Konami said. "Death threats are like presents, it's the thought that counts." "…thank you." Hanako rasped. She tore the noose away from her throat and felt the tender flesh. No time for licking wounds, she had to respond, and so she did. A sudden burst from a point equal to both Judges sent several flat planes of high pressure water in all directions, hacking at their bound rope bodies without problem. Konami turned to the Hanging Judge that had attacked Hananko, her drawing hand raised instead, with her index finger straightened to touch the side of her Pince-nez. Koga Saburo materialized in a burst of bluish white light. It was a masculine figure, clad in a full body suit of what looked like emerald green scails. The sides of his torso, along with his arms and legs looks like they were encased in the skulls of serpents, locked jaws with jagged teeth across his chest. Where his shoulders should be were the eye sockets of this chest skull, with a massive purple orb resting inside each. He had no physical arms to speak of, just empty space encased in bony armor, and what look like snake heads on his biceps. His bone white gauntlets holding a pair of long hilt-less swords in reverse grips. For a second Koga Saburo stood there, breathing in air he didn't need through an opaque featureless face plate, before he raised both his arms over his head, his twin swords spinning in his grip as he then soundlessly clacked the pommels together, as a bolt of lighting shot down from nowhere to electrocute the judge. |

Nishiyo continued to draw backward from the fight, placing her mask over her face as she moved. She kept her guard up, of course, an active scan around the area to make sure no other Shadows would sneak up on the group while they were focused on fighting these. She smiled humorlessly as she put distance between herself and harm, wondering if it would "count" toward strengthening her Persona if she didn't directly kill Shadows herself. It was worth finding out, she supposed... "It's more powerful if I summon it directly, right?" Nishiyo said brightly, as bright blue light surrounded her. "I don't like doin' this, y'know... I really hate spiders." In the open space between herself and the other three Persona-users, Lolth manifested, spider body with a womanly, eight-armed torso atop it. Nishiyo had two options: healing and support. And the easiest way to support was to slow down an enemy... that would have a greater net benefit than speeding up one of her comrades, right? Nishiyo extended a hand toward the Hanging Judge that Konami was attacking, and Lolth likewise extended two of its long-fingered hands. The bottom four limbs were folded over its stomach, and the top two arms on the lefthand side simply hung there as if the Spider Queen were bored with the proceedings. A dull-gray light engulfed the Hanging Judge, a Sukunda spell, dulling its speed, reflexes, and perceptions... |

"Yeah, we heard. Enough of your father's childrearing already." Hanako spat back in respond to Nishiyo's lament. Evidently nearly being strangled hadn't taken the fight out of her in the least. She used another Malaqua spell, both Shadows were looking more frayed and damaged. Seiji struck with another Frei aimed at the Hanging Judge he was fighting. The nuclear-charged attack hit home, in it's core, their was a brief glow from the Cherenkov Effect for several moments before it faded and the Shadow collapsed into a pool of black ichor. The last Shadow, on it's final legs responded to Nishiyo, after the Sukunda spell, it tried an Ensnare attack, the rope and noose that was one of its fingers veering towards her in spite of its reduced agility. |
