At last, Suzu's limbs seemed not to feel so heavy. The debuff spell's effect was long gone, and she jumped a little in place. She almost felt as if she was as light as a feather.

As Mia was given the order to finish off the enemy, Suzu stood back, wearing her mask as if preparing herself to use a healing spell, should things go horribly wrong.

After that, they probably should leave. That was enough testing, and she had a feeling that if they stood there for too long, they'd receive an unexpected visitor.

Oh my God, I LEFT THE STOVE ON AT HOME!

The spider, fortunately, did not pull any shenanigans and died promptly when Mia shanked it in the thorax. Shinta shuddered as he looked at the puddle of black ooze. "I fucking hate spiders..."

That was the best she could have possibly hoped for, the absolute best.

She stepped back, her hands shaking as she held the knive and took a deep breath. Her nerves calmed at once. No place to panic. No place at all.

"Alright. I think that's enough for today? At least for me, it is. What about you two?" She looked up, first to Suzu, and then to Shinta. Eh, they looked like the type who were way, way into fighting. She hoped they wouldn't insist on going further.

Suzu let out a sigh the final spider was defeated, and raised her club from the ground, resting it up against her shoulder. Holy crap, it was still heavy.

"Yeah, I got what I came here for." The redhead nodded towards Mia, and motioned the pair to follow. Knowing exactly where they were, it was easy to guide both back to the entrance.

Maybe she should text Seiji about finally being available...?

"Yeah...as much as I'd like to keep going, I've got a gut feeling that the Reaper will rear his ugly head if we stick around too long." said Shinta, crossing his arms. "I've never seen the Reaper, and I sure as hell would like to keep it that way..."

"Yeah, I know what you mean." She was well aware of just how vulnerable she was, and the Reaper was not something she was planning to encounter…ever, if she could help it.

It was hard to tell just how worked up she was after the combat, she was all smiles as she followed Suzu out to daylight again none could have easily guessed just how worked up she had been how fast her heart was beating or how on edge she was. She rushed in without thinking, but if anything had gone wrong when she did, she might not have made it. That was just the world she found herself in ever since the butterfly found her.

Now, to make the most of it…
