Aleph(?)--or Mr. Hunk(?)--or whatever walking Adonis(?) that was her rescuer was saying words but Sayuri couldn't quite hear him. Was something muffled? Did he speak weird or was it her? She spent the time tilting her head and trying to rub out earwax. But she could barely hear anything save for the clopping that had been ringing in her ears for the last few minutes. Still with a glazed look in her eyes Sayuri glanced again to the giant thing that came through the door. It reminded her of a mascot but she couldn't remember what of. Video game? Marshmallows? A movie? Beside her hunk high school student, now smelling even stronger of roses, had a larger hunk-man above him and a get of fire fired at the monstrosity. "Don't melt the lollipop--" she said, probably the only thing in the place that had her vivid attention. Even one lick was most likely tastier than any candy-pop she would have ever had-- --when the fire struck the several meter tall dough-ball it winced some but shrugged it off quickly. Its tongue retreated from the lollipop into its mouth for a second--before darting out again. Sayuri tumbled as it passed by, the slobbery lick aimed towards the attacker-- --but as Sayuri dropped to her knees the monster of all headaches only intensified, making her cry out and clutch her face in pain. |

Aleph watched as the Agi hit its mark on the giant fat lollipop Shadow, but the fire spell didn't seem to have much of an effect on it. Great. Now Aleph was going to be fighting this goofy-looking thing for a while. The only other thing Aleph had for a means of attack was his saber, so Aleph unsheathed it. Just then, he heard someone else talk to him. Sayuri told him not to melt the lollipop for some reason. Granted, it looked like a really nice lollipop, but that wasn't the point now. Aleph noticed a boy with a mask that looked like it was laughing at him. He must be another Persona-user, though Aleph had never seen the other boy before. Aleph looked at the other boy as Sayuri began to drop to her knees and cry out in pain. Not good. "Uh, yeah. You're not alone." Aleph said, then gestured to Sayuri. "Look, watch over her while I take care of this big thing." With that, Aleph raised his saber and charged at the giant, fat, lollipop Shadow, aiming a slash at it. |

As Aki was running in their direction, he saw the boy and the girl more precisely. What they had in common were the green eyes and the brown hair. As he was about five steps apart from them, he saw the thing. A big tongue, a big lollipop, red pants.. What the hell was this thing? He thought the nine arms guy was the worst, but this one? “Hold it right there, sweetheart. It’s more dangerous than before. I know you’re not strong enough for this one.” So, sweets were more dangerous than nine arms? The logic in this place was kind of weird. Really weird. But for now, Neova knew a lot more things about this mess than him and he had to rely on her. For now of course. The moment Aki joined them, the other boy asked him to take care of the girl he found crying on the ground. With this, he was sure that he had nothing to be afraid of with them, if even he needed to be here for the girl. Judging from what he saw, she had a headache, a big one. He nearly didn’t care about it, but he knew this feeling he had at the beginning very well.”So, what are you waiting for? I remember myself telling you I can heal.” He really had the feeling as if his persona wanted to be his new girlfriend, but whatever. After casting Dia, which took more energy than he thought, he looked at the boy running to the enemy, with a saber in his hands. If that wasn’t brave.. “-Are you feeling better? Take your time; I’ll be sure nothing happens to you now.” Aki spoke in a gentle voice, he wanted to gain her trust after all, but a familiar voice wanted him to hear her out clearly. “Aki, my dear.. If I were you, I would tell my friend over there that this thing reflects such physical attacks.. But that’s just an id-” It was too late; he hadn’t enough time to warn the boy. “-Shit.” |

Had Sayuri been in a position to see what was going on she would have caught the chain reaction from Aleph's attack. The slash from his blade split the lollipop into two pieces that further broke upon shattering on the floor. The roly-poly giant was taken aback, leaning as a wave of motion rippled through its flab--and back again, reflecting the same energy of the physical strike-- --as Sayuri felt like her face was melting. Under her fingers the features warped, hot then becoming angular and metallic while a voice within her ear-- Say it. --Wha--? Say it, say-it, say it, saaaay it. W-What am I supposed to say?? Those times that just make you want to scream. The condensation, the put-downs, each and every hateful or apathetic word. Yell something for once instead of just putting up with it. Yell what?? Shout it out. Name me. Let me, let yourself run wild for once you sad passive not-so-little-bump-on-a-log...you don't want me insulting you do you? It'll just be more of you belittling your own self. I don't know what to say-- SAY SOMETHING! --at that point the pain in her forehead intensified as the mask took its full shape. Sayuri's neck ached back--face covered in the demonic lagomorph visage--as she yelled out a word like a minced oath. "PHOOKA!!" --which was followed by a guttural neigh accompanying the golden-eyed many horned shadow horse that leapt out of her head-- --and by the time it struck the globular thing in the suspenders with a Skull Cracker-ing kick it looked more like a giant rabbit with antlers. Which, sadly, brought about another ripple through the monster that reflected the same level of the physical attack back. |

The good news was that the slash from Aleph's saber had broken the lollipop, but the attack was also, sadly, reflected back at Aleph. Aleph cried in pain as a he felt the attack come back at him. He touched his face and felt a small cut across his cheek. Wincing, Aleph healed the cut by casting Dia on himself. Aleph turned around and saw Sayuri Awaken to her Persona, watching as it launched a physical spell towards the fat Shadow thing, only to see it cause the same effect as Aleph's attack, and get reflected. Aleph ran back towards the other boy and Sayuri and casted Rakukaja on Sayuri. "Sayuri-san, this is rather complicated to say, so I'll be quick about it." Aleph said. "The big fat thing we're fighting right now. It's one of a lotta things that wander around this place called Shadows. People like me fight them with magical spirit things called Persona, like that thing you just summoned. I'll explain everything else later." Aleph then turned to the other boy. "You got anything that can beat that? Fire doesn't work on it, and physical attacks just bounce back at ya." |

Just as he wanted to see if she still need some help, a horse came out of her head, literally, no joke. Aki promised himself to go check a doctor after this, to see if he was on drugs, because this was so unlogical he thought his brain was crying all over his head. He maked two steps in the wrong direction, just to see what the horse was doing. The moment he saw it was a physical attack, it was too late. It got reflected and Aki,in the shittiest of all moment, was in the way of the attack. He wimped and was thrown away by the violence of the attack. He let out a cry of pain as he tought that his stomach was roughly taken apart. He was on the ground, holding it as he tried to think clearly. „That’s what I call a lack of chance, my dear. Get up, we must find a way to make this fight less difficult as it is already. And with that attitude of yours, conquering me will not be possible“ Neova laughed in the manner of a little girl while the boy tried to get up slowly. „So, now you know that you’re not the only one with a persona, but we don’t have time to discuss this now. The lolipop is broken and the Shadow won’t be really happy about it.“ He muttered some insults before finally getting up. He nearly wanted to take the gun out and shooting at the Shadow, but that was probably not a good idea. Thinking clearly couldn’t be so difficult, couldn’t it? „- We must find it’s weakness.“ He throw an Analyzis at him, just to be feel sink his hopes. Wind was nearly as good at him as fire, which wasn’t really effective.. God, why must his real first battle be so shitty? The boy with the sword came to them at this moment. So, the girl’s name was Sakuya, her persona‘s name was Phooka and the two persons knew each other. Something with a bit of logic in it to remember, great! He turned toward the boy. „-If you got any Earth or Gravity attacks, then yes. If not, then.. We got a kind of a problem.“ He sighed as he looked at that thing again. This thing was big, too big for him, maybe with a trap, he could be stuck. Aki suddenly remembered he still had his mask on.. Whatever. If it was safe to trust the two of them, he would have take it off now, but safety first, right? |

There was more than one stomach clutcher after both blows were repelled back at them. It shook Sayuri to the core and made her sick to her stomach. Her already shoddy vision to the surrounding events became even fuzzier for some reason. The Aleph/Hunk was telling her something. "Sayuri-san, spfough poijv riohub sdmpnpu. Aoiphfboiergn poihf[pj fboviuap ujbdovi ipnfbpsjun posdna[kxbyt ahop gh." "W-What??" she moaned. Another boy and/girl...some person showed up as well. "Shopinpof paioufh nopiub adtv fhgosiyb asho oaisyfb ajyfc idfb." "What are you saying??" So sorry sweetie but my kicks are powerful enough to rattle people's heads. Doesn't work on McBlobberson over there. Oh well, you learn after leaping as they say. Sayuri was crying by this point. She had no clue what was going on by this point. She ached, was dirty, this was becoming a nightmare like she hadn't imagined before. Though surprise poindexter here is talking about Earth. I can shift me some Earth no problemies, get retundo over there quaking in his overalls. "What Earth thing??" she yelled aloud to that voice that wouldn't be silenced, in a very Panic'd mood. Meanwhile, the now angered blubber thing began to tantrum and Rampage at the loss of its treat. Though it's blows didn't feel as bad this time. Edited by evilpizza_626, Dec 18 2013, 08:58 PM.

Aleph stood as he was suddenly punched over and over and over by the fat, blubbery Shadow thing. What a giant baby, Aleph thought. Aleph rubbed his face as the other boy asked him if he knew Earth magic. Sadly, he didn't have Earth magic. His sister did, but she wasn't here, sadly. "Uhh, I don't." Aleph said. "Shit." Suddenly, Sayuri started crying and yelling to nothing in particular. Probably must be getting used to having a voice inside her head. "Calm down, Sayuri-san." Aleph said, placing a hand on her shoulder. "That's just your Persona talking to you. It can do that. Now, do you have Earth magic?" |

Couldn’t this Shadow calm down? He hit Aki more than once and he thought the pain would move on into his head. That was enough; they couldn’t eternally wait for Sayuri to finally wake up. ”Drugs are bad, it seems. I mean, just look at her. We’re in a fight and she’s clearly not taking this seriously. If I didn’t know you very well, I would suggest that we should run away.” But the young man didn’t want to let them go, know that he thought they were trustworthy, at least a bit. If the girl had Earth magic, she was kind of their last hope. “Take care of her; I’m going to distract this thing. I’ll try to buy us time.” He said to the other boy before getting up again. After looking at the beast, he found exactly what he wanted: a piece of the broken lollipop. He took it and, showing it to the Shadow, he makes a circle around him, and so he would be the main target if he really was fond of sweets. And for a little help, he shot a Garu towards his opponent. “We both know this is a risky idea, don’t we? I really hope, for you, that it will not get you too much in danger sweetie.” So his Persona still was worried a little bit about him? How cute.. He yelled now. “Hey crying baby, you sure you don’t want a piece of that?” Now, he thought that it would be more than difficult to overcome that. |

Aleph--it was Aleph, she was sure of it now--was there, talking to her, maybe trying to be helpful? Yet everything out of his mouth was still gibberish. "I-I-can't understand a word you're saying!!" Oh no, what if she was speaking in some gibberish language too? Alright now you can blame me for that. Kick powerful enough to cause confusion gone wayward. How was I supposed to know Tubby McOveralls there was going to bounce it back? Speaking of gibberish, while we're on the subject you've got my name wrong. 'Phooka', big P sound, not F, say it like 'Poo' at the start. What's with the toilet humor, you don't have to go to the bathroom or something do you? This was hardly the place to do so. Not with the other boy distracting Tubby McOveralls with some of its shattered sweets. The roly-poly monster turned to follow him, a peeved expression on its face as its tongue shot out in front of it for another damaging lick. Better let the confounding there wait itself out for the time being. Sit back, relax, that guy will probably survive. Why not have a sweet? At the prompting Sayuri noticed that one of the magnificent lollipop chunks had fallen a short crawl away. Her mouth watered as she scooted closer. |
